An at that 9th hour Jesus gave up his sprit, an the veil of the holy of holys was wrent from top to bottom, opening up the temple of God to whom shall ever will , meaning you need no man ( flesh ) to talk ( pray ) to God ,.. an you need no building, anywhere you are , an you don't even need to say it out loud, an frens you need not any person to confess or as we know repentance of your sins , an all God is ever wanting is your love , an the asking of his knowledge an understanding,.. as far as communion, we learned it's was taken 3 times a year, passova, Pentecost, an feast of tabernacles,.. by doing this every Sunday it's making it a ritual ,. An of course you can take it anytime you feel necessary,.. but it's very sacred to our father an it's not to be taken lightly , or in any false sense,.. for he already knows our harts

Natalya I am sorry that he has trouble with anxiety. My son has anxiety/depressive problems, too. He is having much difficulty with it right now and needed to take a few weeks leave from work. Please pray for him when you pray for your boyfriend, and I will remember to pray for your boyfriend when I pray for my son.

Lord, I pray for Natalya and her boyfriend today. Help Natalya be a light for you to her boyfriend. Give her a confident, peaceful spirit rested in You to exemplify Your work in her to her boyfriend. I pray for Natalya's boyfriend, Lord, help him in his trials with anxiety. Please do a miracle and remove anxious tendencies in him for good. Bring him to the knowledge of the Truth in Your gospel and grant him a rebirth by the Holy Spirit. You are the only Peace and Deliverer we have. may e come to You soon. We pray this in Your name, Jesus. Amen.

    Alex and those reading here,

In your post you again state that it is the Holy Ghost that is birthed in a person, but this is false. The Word states that it is US the are REborn, not the Holy Spirit.

God created mankind with a three fold nature, body, soul, and spirit. All of these aspects of nature are human, none of it is divine. When Adam was created all three aspects of our nature were alive to God. When Adam sinned his spirit nature died to God, but his body and soul were still alive. Subsequently, all humanity descended from Adam with his post-sin three-fold nature from conception on. It is the spirit aspect of a human's nature that is reborn when the Holy Spirit regenerates a person with the Word of the gospel and power of God. As Jesus said, "you must be born again" to Nicodemus, He was speaking about the rebirth of the spirit nature in man to be made alive to God, and then the man is complete and restored to the original creation.

When this created spirit aspect of our nature is regenerated by the Holy Spirit, it is the holy aspect of our being in which the Spirit can dwell and influence and empower the body and soul to say no to sin and yes to what is right. It is this alive-to-God reborn spiritual nature in each believer that communes with God as we know Him by faith.

When we are resurrected, our body, soul, will be changed (glorified) to become sin-free and incorruptible as our spirit already is since its rebirth. This is called the redemption of our bodies. The new creation that is spoken of is the rebirth of a holy spiritual nature in us that was dead before the Holy Spirit acted upon us to regenerate this aspect of our nature. This new creation (holy spiritual nature) is our "down payment" on the future complete salvation of our whole person, body, soul, and spirit.

No part of us becomes divine. That is an age old heresy. But we are gloriously welcomed into the closest fellowship any creature can have with the Godhead, likened to a marriage

    Alex and those reading,

Again, I will say that neither God the Father, Son, nor the Holy Spirit is rebirthed in any believer. God does not replicate Himself via a seed, as Alex has stated numerous times. Nor does God multiply Himself through a divine seed that is implanted in us to birth a Holy Ghost. This doctrine is closely associated with the doctrine of the deification of man, which most people view as erroneous, heretical teaching. When one begins wit one false teaching, it is an easy step to the next false teaching that is built on the first. Alex, I believe that this is what you have done and you propogate these false teachings often in your posts here.

Go on YouTube and type in, IVERNA TOMPKINS.

She came to our Church in Tulsa(when I lived there), and she is on fire for Jesus, the Holy Spirit and Life. I'm sure she may have a website with literature on how to live in "a mans world." That doesn't insult me to write that, because we live in Gods world !! Ask to be anointed for service.

Iverna serves up Meat Platters in her sermons. She can be funny and then lower the Truth. I she lived here I'd be there every time the doors open. When she breaks out in praise and song, your spirit knows that is a prayer.

Lemme give ya my take on the nation of Israel Ya gotta realize that Abraham,Issac and Jacob were the foundation of natural ISRAEL ,But they were just symbolic of another ISRAEL which is the iSRAEL OF God the Father Son and the Granson ( the H.G. ) which is the multiplication of God via his seed the Word the New Covenant, The multiplication of Issac resulted the nation of ISRAEL But God spoke of another Promise that wd be a heavenly Promise Gen 22 : And it was in this 2 nd

Promise that God swore by his very self, That Christ wd be multiplied as the stars of heaven, Thus the sower and his precious seed, The living Word the new covenant a birthing covenant . I will know them ALL from the least to the greatest

Jeremiah 31 : 31 An intimacy that wd result in a birth of Christ in us. Thus an Israel of God. heavenly Children, Spirits the H.G. PLURAL As the stars of heaven, I will pour out my spirit on all flesh thats the 2 nd coming As Joel said i will pour out my Spiirt on all flesh.

The multiplication of Isaac resulted in the nation of ISRAEL, But Now under the new covenant its the H.G. that is the Child of Promise a heavenly Issac An Israel of God that is born in humanity via the seed of Christ....Just as Isaac was offered up then came the 1st Promise. i will multiply thy seed etc. But issac neva died, But Christ actually died thus this 2 nd Promise is of most significance to humanity an Israel of God will result resulting in a Perfect Israel, The Ram caught in the thicket by his horns on his head was symbolic of Christ and his crown of thorns on his head....The Jehoveh Jira

When Jesus said behold i send the Promise of my FATHER upon you that was the baptism of the H.G. The Child of PRomise. The New Covenant a birthing covenant via a heavenly seed sown in mans heart that will result in a Child of Promise which is the H.G. When they argued among themselves who was the greatest Jesus set a Child in their midst

symbolic of the Child of Promise that is the greatest.

This is what is in the King James Version on hair

Paul is saying here in 1Corinthians 11:4 that every man that prays, prophesy's, are preaches should not have his head covered with anything other than his hair. If the man has his head covered with anything other than his hair the man dishonors his own head.

Paul is saying here 1Corinthians 11:5-6 that every woman that prays, prophesy's, are preaches should have her head covered. In verse 15 Paul tells us that the hair has given to the woman for her covering.

Paul is telling us here in 1Corinthians 11:7 that a man shouldn't cover his head when he is doing the work of God. Paul is saying also that the way a woman looks is the glory of a man.

7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.

Paul is telling us here to judge in ourselves what is right and wrong for a woman

13 Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?

Paul is saying look at nature, nature will tell you what is right and wrong

14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

Paul is telling us here if a man is contentious about his hair than there is not a custom are law of God.

16 But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God

God sees all and God knows if a woman can handle long hair. Some women can't handle the long hair pulling on the back of their head it gives them a headache. In this matter I can see a woman cutting some of her hair off but not up to her ears.

The only thing Paul said about a man with long hair is that it is a shame. When a man gets saved than the hair is between God and that man, not the whole world.

    God Bless

stay prayed up and ready to go up

What about in Hebrews 10:26 where is states, "For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins." and in Galatians 5:19-21 where it states, " Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God."

Gi Gi Jesus refers to Satan being the Father of the tares , b/c Satan is the one who sows the tares. Matthew 13 : 39 kjv.

Thus Christ is the one who sows the wheat thus its Christ who is the Father of the wheat and the Wheat is the H.G. simply b/c that good seed is the living WORD...Remember Jesus said he that soweth the good seed is the Son of MAN Thus the Son of man is the FATHER OF THE Child the H.G. As the Sower of that good seed is also the Bridegroom , THE FIELD is the

world, humanity as GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD. Thus we have to realize there is a Child involved in our salvation which is a spritual Child, Thats y Isaiah refers to Christ as everlasting Father he is the Father of the H.G. Thus Jesus is gonna multiply himself in humanity...That was the great Promise that Christ wd be multiplied as the stars of heaven...Thats y he

said Behold i send the Promise of my FATHER upon you which was baptism of the H.G. The birth of a new Innerman which is the H.G. the Child of PROMISE, the multiplication of Christ in humanity, via his seed....Whosoever receiveth one such child in my name receives ME...Kings shall be your nursing Fathers and Queens shall be your nursing Mothers ,Thats y he refers to himself as the Son of MAN, HUMANITY IS GONNA HAVE A BABY. But these things are HID from the wise and prudent BUT REVEALED UNTO BABES. The babes and suckling he mentioned so often his CHILDREN. THAT ARE GONNA BE BORN IN US SINNERS. GBU

I let Jesus know that He can take my life and do what He wants with it, but my boyfriend, Daniel, has trouble with anxiety and thinks that Jesus doesn't want to talk to him when he's anxious. I think i heard Jesus' voice telling me that he will be born again, so i hope that will bring him closer to Him!

Hi. I was baptized into the Catholic Church as a baby, but no longer attend Mass. Two weeks ago I did go

with a friend, and I went up for communion. A Catholic friend of mine later told me that the custom in the

Church is that you must first go to confession with a priest before taking communion. Is that practice based

    on anything in Scripture?

Failure No but the question is since Jesus Christ led what ever Captivates or drives our natural man captive

obviously you need to Go to God for self control deliverance in this part of your life style. Therefore to be healed

youneed to make up your mind to believe because in Christ its already been done. Faith was Gods Part through

Christ Jesus, believing is action on what has already been given in the Gift of Holy Spirit.

Hi Dusty. Both GiGi & Rick have, I believe, written well from their perceptions of this (& other passages). If I might add to it.

Paul's instruction to (Pastor) Timothy was for the administering of the Church, both in his own conduct & the conduct of those that meet each Lord's Day. How people, whether brothers or sisters, share with others (in Bible Study, Sunday School, Youth Group, witnessing, counselling, etc.) outside the main gathering of the Church was entirely up to them with the Lord's leading - there should be no constraints. But while gathered together before the Lord, even to sharing around the Lord's Table, order & propriety are essential.

For this reason, elders (for policy, direction, leadership & teaching) & deacons (helpers) were appointed. There were no women elders; though women could fill deacon-type positions in their support of the work. Pastoral work which was primarily a shepherding role, could in a sense, be filled by both men & women, as women could rightfully shepherd other sisters or youth. However, today, the Pastor fills the position of the main leader/preacher/teacher - whom we should rightfully (biblically) refer to as the 'leading Elder'. So this position, before the congregation, can only be filled by a man - and this order is not because of a pre-disposition of setting women at a lower level, but of scriptural warrant from the order of creation ( 1 Corinthians 11:3 ff).

In those early days, both men & women were highly dependent on Church leaders to teach them from the Word & help for Christian living. Nowadays, both men & women can be equally proficient with the Word & quite capable to expound it to others. But for the sake of propriety within God's Plan for the Church, it's best to stay with what is given in the Word, no matter how unreasonable it may sound in today's context of equality & abilities in biblical knowledge & use of spiritual Gifts.

  • Jesse Hopkins - In Reply - 4 years ago
    Bob,

You are welcome. I don't think anyone knows the exact date that Mary gave birth to Jesus, but it was not December 25th. As far as when He died (was crucified), here is where I got the April 6th 32 A.D. date. This is not a date I came up with on my own. I was taught this during a bible study, I later researched it out on my own, and I came up with this same date.

But it comes from the book of Daniel Chapter 9 which talks about the 70 weeks. In Daniel Chapter 9 Verses 24 to 27, it says that there will be 7 sevens and then 62 sevens. In 7 sevens, they will build the wall and begin to lay the foundation in Jerusalem under trying times. It took them 49 years, 7 sevens.

And then 62 sevens. And Daniel's prophecy says from the time of the going forth of the command to rebuild Jerusalem until the time of the coming Prince when He is cut off, (His crucifixion), is 69 sevens or 483 years.

The decree went out in March 14th 445 B.C. which is recorded for us in Nehemiah Chapters 2 and 3. You can check that out if the Lord leads you to do so. So 483 years later would be 173,880 days, which was the exact day in which Jesus rode into Jerusalem which is what we see in Luke.

Luke mentions the fact that when Jesus rode into Jerusalem and wept over Jerusalem, He told them that "If you had only known this (your day), you would not have rejected me." So if somebody had a calendar going, they would have said "Hey, today is 173,880 day. Messiah is supposed to be here!" But they missed it, and Jesus rode into Jerusalem. So that brings us to April 6, 32 A.D. when the Lord died.

So far in prophetical history, we have had 69 weeks (483 years). And those 483 years ended at the crucifixion of Christ on April 6th, 32 A.D.

You have a Merry Christmas also.
  • Dr. Lyle Lee on Galatians 4 - 4 years ago
Galatians 4:21-31 Here the Apostle Paul takes five shadows and typologies in order to create an allegory, he used Abraham to represent God the Father, the two wives Hagar and Sarah to represent the two covenants, the old covenant which is the Ten Commandments in stone and the new covenant, which is the Ten Commandments in the heart. The two children Ishmael and Isaac, represent the two children of God, the first born son of Abraham represents God's first born son Israel, and the second born son of Abraham, represents God's second born son Christianity. Then does the Apostle Paul refer unto the prophecy of Isaiah concerning the two woman, the married woman is Israel, who was married to God, yet did not have as many children as the baron woman, which is Christianity, who is engaged to God, she has more children. Then he turns his attention to Christians who obey the Ten Commandments in stone and teaches their mother is Hagar, the old covenant, yet the prophecy will be fulfilled spiritually, as the old covenant, Hagar and her son, all those who obey the Ten Commandments inb stone shall be cast out of the millennial kingdom of heaven and will not reign with the Lord Jesus Christ or the Christians who obeyed the Ten Commandments in the heart, having Sarah as their mother.
