To GiGi. Oh no, I was not singling out anyone. Forgive me if it sounded that way. There were numerous comments on that thread yesterday.

I was persecuted by rich kids in high school because I wasn't (rich). I'm glad now. I had my eyes on straight, just as you did.

You're my sister ok? We are family.

That post I wrote came right out of the Holy Spirit, who had me up almost to dawn. I think He wants US to know "who" is responsible. Origins.

We all know who chaos and confusion is. We just didn't know how and when it happened.

I don't know where this is going.

One day at work, I was boppin down the hallway singing that song without knowing, the IT guy was behind me (and I was oblivious to the hall surveillance cameras too). So he starts singing it too. Talk about fun in the Lord!

I am not known for severity or self-importance. All I can say is God had his hand on me all of my life. Even when I almost self medicated myself to death and hell. I'm probably going to fight for the "rights" of the mistreated, poor, un-lovely, ignored people I meet. I got one message: God loves You!! And Jesus gave himself for Us

I just saw a video of a million person street protest against a harsh government, in Brazil.

The earth is hemorrhaging everywhere! The signs. Our public news media doesn't report on world-wide events. We think we've got it bad? Japan is shoveling out of 6 feet of snow! I think the Philippines was destroyed yesterday. I just saw an earthquake liquefaction, bury a city.

I gotta get away in the closet. This is breaking my heart. Time to sow in tears.

I hope we are ok. And blessed New Year to you and all others in this great website.

    David,

Praise the Lord for His goodness to us everyday. I am glad you speak of the greatness of Jesus and His work in your life this year despite hardships. I think that many of us can say that honestly. I can.

It is always good to extol the mercies of God, who gives us what we need despite our daily sinfulness, and even more and more as He sanctifies us each day, So thankful!

Mishael The simple answer is most people don't believe the dead are dead as it says in Ecclesiastes 9:5+6.

Hi Joe. We have to remember that Jesus is Bridegroom, we are his brides. The church is the bride. So he calls the spirit within him that for many reasons, one being that Yah has set everything up so there is a male and a female counterpart. And again, Jesus is Bridegroom, we are his brides. That is why.

Thank you Gigi for being a light for our little ones. It is good to have your flowers while it is light. Yah bless!

    Mishael,

I never said that we should not recall and remember loved ones. I have no problem with visiting a grave or special place of one we have lost. The original topic was praying for the dead and attempting to make contact with them as Reynaldo spoke about in the Day of the Dead practices e mentioned.

I know everyone has ways to remember loved ones who have died. As family, we talk a lot about my dad and his quirkiness and laugh. So, I really doo not think I am hammering anyone. My post must have struck a nerve and I am sorry that it did, but my intentions was to address the topic of praying for or to those who have died, especially if one is trying to make contact with a dead loved one. I have read your many posts about warding off demonic influences, and I think these practices open up such doorways for demons to interact with people. So, that is why I am speaking against these practices.

God Bless You this Day, Mishael

yep, When I was teaching, the staff knew I was a Christian and many would come to me to ask for prayer and I with them. When my parents would share that they were believers, I would let them know I was, too and they were so happy to have a believing teacher for their children. So, we can be lights for Christ in these situations. However, many teachers practice the pagan things in their classrooms, mindfulness, meditation, yoga, etc. without regards to the idea that they are pagan practices and that some parents would be offended and not want their child exposed. But most parents do not know tis is happening.

    Are you still teaching?

    Bro David,

We're here to help each other, glad I could share the correct scripture with you regarding the whip, as GiGi originally stated.

Also, I'm glad to hear you have been walking with the Lord for 45 years.

I enjoy reading all of your comments, please keep them coming.

    Much love to you Bro!

Mishael Why are we throwing out scripture if its all Gods Word 2 Timothy 3:16?

    Mishael,

    Merry Christmas

Yep, I agree, we are to love and treat everyone without prejudice. I was brought up that way and live that way. We have "mixed" genes in our families. I love that. It is hard for me to see racism displayed from anyone or group. So, we are on the same page, now. In the 60's when the civil rights movement grew and promoted changes away discrimination, I was all for that and glad for the voice of the movement that decried racism and unfair treatment of any group of people. Now, I see racism coming to a boiling point in our country today but it is now on the "other foot" so to speak, in many ways. so, I applaud voices that speak up to oppose it again. So, perhaps you misunderstood me. I oppose racism and discrimination, period.

As believers, we have an obligation not only to oppose injustice, but to live in loving relationships with everyone we know or meet. I endeavor to do that, on both accounts. When discussing issues, one can be misunderstood easily. I get that. When living out our daily lives in the way that God would have us live, no one who knows me would infer that I mistreat others due to their race of ethnicity, or any other characteristic. So, I thought that it good to clarify this, as it seems that you may think I behave otherwise. I hope your day is wonderful as we celebrate that God came to us!

If it is necromancy to "talk" to the dead, why then do we have funerals and build graveyards with roads so we can put flowers on the grave? Sit on a bench and REMEMBER that persons life?

Is it just an industry someone invented? Why do we use graveyards? Isn't it a waste of prime real estate?

Why did Michael the Archangel (the Angel of War) fight with satan over Moses's body?

Why do we have a huge complex in Wash DC in honor of unknown dead soldiers?

I don't know. I miss my parents and sometimes I talk to the air and remember good things they did for me.

It's really uptight and sorta mean, to hammer people for missing loved ones. We should just throw out these scriptures below,

    1 Thessalonians 4:18; 5:11

    Wherefore comfort one another

Verse 17-Gideon took the lead in showing his people what needed to be done. When we see good examples of older men in the congregation we can follow their example.

Mishael Happy Holidays The entire epistle to the Philippians is primarily concerned about being the same

mind, walking in the same fellowship, Phil. 1:5 fellowship in the Gospel,2:1 fellowship in the spirit,2:2 likeminded

on accord and one mind,3:20 conversation in heaven, 4:2 be of the same mind, our fellowship is with God IN Christ.

    Lystra Walcott,

Sometimes the Holy Spirit whispers (your raised brow) and sometimes a two by four to the back of the head. No thanks to me, the Holy Spirit will guide us if we humble ourselves as we know nothing and accept the truth even if the whole world says different.

God bless and may the Holy Spirit of truth guide your study.

consider writing what these passages mean to you in reality. talk about your own experiences.

describe examples that your experienced or what you know about attended events. Don' be afraid to expound. hope this helps.

Bro Dan Again the kjv which is what this website is and others including yourself pretty much stick to it no where

it literally says whip it is scourge he didn't beat any one or animal, and his anger was directed at the corrupt

practice of selling junk products in the temple at top dollar. Been a believer for 45 years praise God, moving onward

and upward. This is one of only a few situations in all four Gospels where the anger of God was displayed because

of the corruption in the House of God the Temple. As I stated previously it was not the norm with our Saviour which

was the context of the conversation. Moving onward and upward God Bless P.S. been a Believer for 45 Years just

thought You'd be blessed to know that.

I rejoice to bear witness of Him as I walk among it all.

My witness is quiet, but known. I am not afraid at all for

Christ, seemingly buried. I feel his knowing smile underneath

it all, biding His time. Lord, Your time is now! I know the End,

"It is Done." He smiles with joy... Meanwhile, I'm making myself

comfortable with walking in the fire with my fellow saints, praising God.

    Bro David,

    Yes, Jesus made a whip.

John 2:15, NIV: "So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables."

John 2:15 KJV "And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;"

    Read and believe.

Gigi, Blessed Christmas morning. Go have a listen to this song this morning

We Are Family by Sister Sledge on youtube
  • Only Christians Speak the Same Language - In Reply - 4 years ago
    Gigi, this is for you

Beloved brothers and sisters, we as Christians are caught in a hard place, at the ending of this world. The Devil wants us to be SEPARATED. The Bible says: righteous judgment. We must stand with God. I know it's hard! God cured me of prejudice against stupid people. It hurt too. ouchy

In my office one day (80 workers) the boss left a while. A loud debate on white vs all colors ensued. I prayed. Then I said I am black! (another prayer, Lord what are you doing?!)

A dozen set of eyes pierced me (I'm 1/2 Cajun) They demanded explain yourself.

I don't see the world through a color spectrum lense. I only see God and He is Spirit.

In Nimrods rule: as long as everyone spoke the same language, they worked together. Didn't matter what color everybody was. Then, Languages were created, all different. They separated and moved away.

I think satan saw this and went to work on promotion of something God hates: Pride. Separation mixed with pride. The Bible teaches God hates mixtures too. Satan is always perverting things God does. Remember? he had stolen Dominion from Adam and Eveso we know who changed Unity into Racism.

God gave us his Son Jesus. ONLY CHRISTIANS speak the same language. That's how we can work together and live together and love together.

Live Gods "Color". We know God loves colors. Look at flowers, birds, rocks :). May we all see with spiritual eyes and love like Jesus wants us to.

Hate makes us reject the TRUTH standing before us__and his name is JESUS.

GiGi, I can't fix this. God hasn't fixed this. That means the power to defeat Satan is in our words; from The Word, Jesus. Jesus defeated satan at the Cross and gave Christians Dominion, Power to use it in Jesus Name, BY HIS AUTHORITY that he gave to us!

Our words give life and freedom, or death and bondage to sin; and SEPARATION from God.

I'm out of space, but I pray for peace on you from Above.

The Lord is great in all things. This year has been a tough year on me. But through it all, God the Lord Jesus Christ has been a wonderful counsellor to me, and a provider beyond my wildest desires.

Thank You Lord God for all you have done for me. May the Lord be gracious unto all on this platform. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to every this December 25, 2021.

I have always been concerned about this theory of the secret rapture that many believe in. Just two days ago I was viewing a funeral service and it was mentioned. But that and several other things that the priestess said raised my brows and made me exclaim "what???" out loud. The Bible explicitly tells us about the state of the dead. But here was this female preacher telling the attendees that the deceased was already with Jesus. Yours sir, is so far the only explanation that makes sense; and for this, I thank you immensely!

Gigi My only point to anyone is Philippians 4:8 the word speaks louder than any of us.
  • David - In Reply - 4 years ago
Gigi Neither verses say he went after someone with whips it says he over threw the tables but mentioned

nothing about whips so why are we changing what's written.also the reason he was angry was because the

courtyard where the people brought in sacrificial animals turned into a marketplace to sell animals for top dollar

that were crippled and defective very corrupt! Just sticking with scripture.
