    Yvonne,

You will not find it in Ecclesiastes. It is found in Ecclesiasticus 43:11.
  • Eljer777 - In Reply - 4 years ago
Bro David the verse was Luke 22:36-38 not Roman's 10:9 or Luke 1-24.

    Susan,

Matthew 14:13-21 speaks about the provision of food for the five thousand. You are correct in stating the approximate number of people being 20,000. It tells us that there were also women and children, so it would have been somewhere between 15 to 20 thousand people that were fed.

Here is what I would like to share with you on this section as I am taking it from reading the Greek text. In Matthew 14:13, it says that Jesus departed by ship into a (desert place) apart. We see the word desert in our English bibles, and we think of a desert as some dried-up place full of cactus (No grass). So why did Jesus tell them to sit on the grass? There's no grass in the desert!

This is why I love the Greek. In the Greek text, where it says, "a desert place," it is EREMON TOPON which literally means a secluded place. It is not a desert as we know a desert to be in English. This was a secluded place that would have had grass. So that would explain why Jesus had them sit on the grass.

Wherever this secluded place was, we know that Jesus went by boat. As for the masses that followed, Verse 13 says they walked.

    Does this help any?

Agreed Rick, We should be careful about seeking info on occult matters. I think the third eye may be referring to the "Eye of Horus" which you see in pictures with this eye above the brow in the middle of the forehead. It is an ancient pagan symbol, but we have it on the top of the pyramid on our monetary bills (along with many other masonry symbols).

    Eljer777,

There are writings outside the Bible, these two are mentioned in the Bible, the book of Enoch, Jude 1:14, the book of Jasher, Joshua 10:11 2 Samuel 1:18 but are they the original books, and there are the writings of Josephus.

Scripture does tell us Satan entered Judas, John 13:27, we see in Matthew 12:26 Jesus said, if Satan cast out Satan, suggests he could possess someone, but Mark writes the same conversation, he writes Jesus is speaking in parables, Mark 3:23.

In Daniel 8 not covering Media and Persia, Alexander the Great, and the four it is Antiochus went plundering to place himself above all including God, Isaiah 14:13 is a good description of his intent. He almost destroyed Jerusalem and the worship of God by Israel and placed the abomination in the temple, but he failed. Host of heaven in Paganism are the sun, moon, stars, and planets that is worshiped, but this is not about angels.

Demons and angels are not the same but if you are looking for scripture it is not in the Bible we have. Fallen angels are not in scripture just a definition that has been given the bad ones. Some angels left their first estate and are locked in chains of darkness (bottomless pit), 2 Peter 2:4 Jude 1:6. They have a king, his name in Hebrew Abaddon, Greek Apollyon Revelation 9:1, the hell you speak of, in my understanding comes from Platonism and not scripture.

Revelation 12 that many places in the past but it is yet in the future, the battle is in heaven, so these angels still have access to heaven. When Satan and these angels are cast down to earth will be permanent because it says no more place is found in heaven, Revelation 12:8-12, my understanding this starts the 3.5 years of tribulation when Satan gives his seat, power, and authority to the beast.

There are evil beings on this earth 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 Ephesians 6:12, but how they got here is not in scripture.

Just a little information, may it not add to your questions.

    God bless,

    RLW

Jesus desired solitude, departed on a ship, then went to the desert. Yet the masses followed him? HOW? did they take a ship? There were @ 20,000 of them (5000 men). Also they were in the desert but Jesus told them to sit on the grass?

Eljer Jesus Christ always did the fathers will and word which means he walked by the revealed knowledge

given to Him by God which that can change according to situations that arose that he went up against.

When he gave in Luke 10 1-24 he sent out seventy two by two and they were given power and specific

instructions to carry out as they were told and got the results. This was specific to the situation, that's how spiritual

knowledge works it is Gods solution to a problem. When Joshua was told how to bring down the walls of Jericho its

the same thing, what he was instructed by God to do made absolutely no sense, but it was Gods solution to the situation

at the time and he and the people obeyed and got delivered. Nothing has changed when we believe Gods Word today

we get the same deliverance, it starts with Romans 10:9+10 believed then changing in our walk and talk not lip

    service but heart.

    Eljer,

Luke 22:36, Jesus came to fulfill the law and the prophets, this that Jesus asked them to do was in a prophecy given to Isaiah 53:12. In Luke 22:37-38, He tells them why and the swords they had would be enough, then in verse 52, we see they came with swords and spears as against a thief. Jesus was also put on the cross between two thieves, Matthew 27:38. Even the least of the prophecies not obvious, Jesus fulfilled them all.

May this be enough to answer your question.

    God bless,

Gwen All believers can teach or give practical instruction, but that is not the office of a pastor or deacon, bishop

which are ordained of have ministries, these are totally different positions.

Is it wrong for a woman to teach if she does it to take over where her husband left off before he passed away?
  • Eljer777 - 4 years ago
Rev 17:11. This is referring to the antichrist. Satan can only imitate God. Jesus died and rose from the dead. The antichrist and the false phrophet both have lived and died and are in hell right now but they will be ALLOWED to escape from hell. Revelation says several times they ASCEND from the pit. 17:11 how can he be of the 7 and be the 8th? In the end he gets thrown into perdition(lake of fire). 2 people go into the lake of fire without being judged the antichrist and the false phrophet, why? They had 2 opportunities at life.

I have been in church for over 63 years. Attended very well known Bible College so I am not a novice. I have questions which Pastors RUN from or honestly answer I don't know. Here is one such question. Show me one instance in the Bible where an angel possessed anyone. Prove to me by scripture an angel and demon are the same. Just because an angel falls it is still a 3 dimensional solid being, they are shape shifters but the only thing they lose when they fall is access to heaven. There is only one fallen angel that can enter heaven freely Satan. My point is demons are not fallen angels, Daniel 8:10 the fallen angels you think are demons are really captured and cast to earth and stamped on(held prisoner) by the antichrist. Demons are the disembodied souls of dead giants from before and after the flood. They are part human and part angel, hybrids that were never meant to exist. If they were angels they would've been chained in hell like the angels before the flood who fell, if they were human they would've been cast into the part of hell for humans. They are neither so they are disembodied and they crave a body now. They are not Nephilim they are Raphaim and the Bible says they will live again during the tribulation.

To have respect of persons is not good: for for a piece of bread that man will transgress.

Can we break this scripture down some? What exactly is it saying?
  • Eljer777 - 4 years ago
Luke 22:36 and 38. This of course is a command and is ignored by preachers and laymen. They will take out of context a little later that night when Peter chops off the servants ear with that same sword and Jesus says (paraphrase) if you live by the sword you will die by it). He had just commanded them earlier to get a sword he was not contradicting himself but saying I came into the world for this and if you try to stop it you will die.

Why do Pastors and laymen avoid Luke 22:36? It is a command!

Jolene One other thing to keep in mind the bible is Written revelation or revealed knowledge of God and

as it states in 2 Peter 1:3-8 It has everything in it that pertains to life and Godliness through the knowledge

of our Lord Jesus Christ. So its through His Word where the information starts.

    2 Corinthians 3:3 KJV

For as much as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God: not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

I have this verse memorized and I am not sure what version of the Holy Scriptures it is written in but I am almost certain it is from an Old King James... however I cannot find it anywhere online as the OKJV of the Bible has become too rustic for most modern readers and they are not acquainted with its writings... Please tell me what version of the Bible I can find this text from the Book of 2 Corinthians (Chapter 3, Verse 3)??? I would like to purchase a new Bible soon and want it to read the same way my Old King James did if I can even find one anywhere... Thank You!

"Not written with ink in tables of stone but in fleshy tables of the heart as we have ministered on the epistle of love to God-ward a greater glory than condemns, that which ministers faith by which the righteous live by." ( 2 Cor. 3:3)

I love the angel passages. They are created beings. Not human.

They report directly to Gods Will. We can only ask for angelic assistance when we need it. When going through intense spiritual warfare at home or even work: you can ask for protection.

They enjoy scripture praise music in the house.

I sing like a frog, but I adore to sing to John Michael Talbots full choir songs, like Glory to God or Holy Holy Lord God Almighty. It's so beautiful, you can discern angel voices singing too.

They have saved my life more than once. I don't see them. The Holy Spirit gave me the gift of discerning the "spirits", that meaning God, human or evil.

I love reading the exchange between Daniel and Gabriel; and how Michael had to make way past a principality (evil) to get a message to Daniel.

All I can add, even if you cannot speak, God hears the cries of our born again spirits pleading the Blood of Jesus. I was saved from a vicious attack immediately. I heard body blows; I saw nothing.

Fyi to whoever: I don't care if John Michael Talbot is a Catholic priest. He was a Methodist. He's always been a musician. You'll love his Christian brother, Terry (a Christian) music. Listen to his song, I SAW HIM. I cry every time.

    Hello Rick,

Thank you so much for that and right back at you. I'm not sure what HoHo cookies are but my wife made a bunch of cookies and my favorite peanut brittle. I ate a bunch so far but no worries because I set my scale back 10 pounds. I can't wait to get back to work so I can ask the guys "Do these shoes make me look fat?"
