@Jesse, there are ways to prove the God of the Bible is the one true God using logic. I am making this post so believers can be better equipped to see that, so they will not be(or appear to be) illogical in their beliefs.

@David and @SEEING GOD THROUGH CREATION, you've both made the same point of creation is proof of a creator. That is not logically flawed, however the way you both described it is superficial and wouldn't convince an unbeliever. Yes, the second law of thermodynamics shows random events lead to greater disorder and deterioration not order, and that's part of what proves God. But how does that prove that the God of the Bible is the one true God, not zeus or literally any other god?

@Adam, you made a similar point to them but never seeing doesn't mean it doesn't exist. You've never seen God but you believe in him, using the lack of seeing something like evolution take place cannot discredit it on its own.

Once this thought exercise is complete, I will share the proof. I want to see if there is anyone here in this center of learning God's word online who knows the answer.

M Now my answer from Gods Word 1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of

of the spirit of God neither can he know them because they are spiritually discerned. Either you get humble

and meek to receive Romans 10:9+10 or you don't.

It does and TY!! There's that old adage that scripture defines scripture and good ol'Mark details this departure in a different way. Apparently the masses came from all directions, so many didn't have to cross by sea (I'm thinking HOW did @20,000 people get a vessel to navigate a body of water)? Holy Spirit driven. Your desert description makes total sense!!

I understand your points. Knowledge helps us when trouble comes. There are too many stories IN THE BIBLE when humans had interactions with angels, and evil beings. Look up those.

I totally agree that people are never to worship angels. Get all those angel paintings out of your home. Angels serve God. Not humans.

Example, if you're hanging upside down from hanging christmas lights on the house, or trapped in a car wreck of twisted metal; that's a good time to ask God for HELP. There are many stories of Jesus casting out devils. He shows us how to battle the devil, when Jesus was on the 40 day fast.

I was merely trying to show that the angels serve the Lord, and none other.

We are here to Equip the Saints in all ways: scripture plus testimony.

Who opened Peters jail cell door so he could walk out unseen? Who comforted Jesus in the garden when He was awaiting the soldiers coming to arrest him?

    Dear Jernej

I will pray for you and your father.

Dear Lord Jesus, enliven Your word read at every service Jernej' Dad attends to work grace in His life. I ask that Your Spirit speak to his spirit and recall and repeat to him every pure truth he learned growing up and not recall the error. May he hear again and again the truth of who you are and what your work and sacrifice avails to us who believe. Grant him have a deep, life-changing, abiding encounter with You, the Living God that will burn away all that stands in the way of the saving work of grace through faith in his life today. Open his heart to be willing to hear and consider what Jernej shares with him about You. Bend his will to be obedient to the holy Word given to him. I ask all of this in Your name, Jesus, for only You can save. Amen.

    M,

Using human logic, a person cannot prove the existence of God. I mean, how can I prove to anyone that God exists when human reasoning and logic tells a person that we need to see something in order to know it exists? You are a believer and so am I. Why do we believe God exists? We believe by faith (PEITHO/Persuasion). It is God's Spirit that persuades us to believe He exists. Without His faith persuading us to believe, because that's what faith is (Persuasion), everything we read about God would not make logical sense using our own human reasoning. It's not when we believe the truth with our mind about the existence of God, and that He is real. It's when His Spirit persuades us, gives us the faith (His faith) to believe He exists!

M The term logic or reason is something that can be validated. There is a place called Jerusalem which

means city of peace whats known as the holy lands because of events that are ACTUAL HISTORY I.E. birth

of Jesus Christ the Israel of Judean people, sea of Galilee, etc. The events are actual occurrences of the

miraculous that made up the way the land was marked and developed. Take the time to look honestly at

some statistics in nature not just in shapes but mathematically and get your mind blown. Humming birds

what they do aerodynamically is impossible, the wooly mammoth caterpillar in Alaska literally when it goes

into hibernation in the winter literally freezes almost solid then thaws out, mankind has no clue how it does

it! Explain to me how a nursing mothers milk not only changes daily nutrient wise according to growth stage.

Explain to me how when animals or birds migrate how they know where there going how there getting there

and when to leave and when to come back, so logically there has got to be an Intelligence behind all this

or illogically it was just all thrown together in perfect order? Just food for thought.

Absolutely agree, Donna. I taught Kindergarten for many years and these kiddos were just beginning to write the sounds they heard in words. My husband and I would sit down and try to decipher what the student was trying to say. Pretty funny! One was fofuvjli (fourth of July). So cute. But even as we type our posts, we often make mistakes, transposing letters, omitting, repeated letter and just missing the correct spelling. My "h" key is sticky, so is omitted often in my posts. But, if we are patient and re-read something we can get the idea within the context. Too bad there are not pictures on these posts like the kinders had with their writing. It really helped my husband and I! Thanks for the reminder. God is good and understands our weaknesses. So should we understand others as well. Blessings.

I'll check out your site. I fully support your ministry to bless others in song. I'll hit that LIKE symbol too.

Thank the Lord for all the songs (Psalms) in the Bible. How many times they've carried us through rough patches in our lives?

Keep coming back here. We need to know how to release our spirits in song and melodies to bless our hearts in Praise.

Praise and worship defined King David's life.

May the Lord anoint your work to bless the people!

    Precious TSR says about "angels":

"We can only ask for angelic assistance when we need it. When going through intense spiritual warfare at home or even work: you can ask for protection."?

    1) I cannot find Scripture for "asking for angelic assistance" - please advise, and:

    2) What happened to Ephesians 6:10-15 and Ephesians 6:15-20 for "spiritual warfare"?

Please Be Richly Encouraged, Enlightened, Exhorted, and Edified! ( 2 Timothy 2:15 Romans 16:25 Ephesians 3:9 = Grace/Mystery fellowship {Romans - Philemon}, For ALL "to SEE, today?)

    Romans 1

if we cannot see him through his creation. all around us,

    we are without excuse.
  • Adam - In Reply - 4 years ago
Evidence of God I see is what exists before our eyes- our amazingly advanced human bodies and this world with beauty and amazing animals and plants that have complex interdependencies. We have never seen life come into existence from nothing on accident, so to believe in that isn't science but a religion. And no one has ever witnessed an animal changing to a different kind. So, the theory of evolution isn't scientific and can be refuted with logic.

Can you please share your proof?

Eljer I read what you ask and the question is answered in the response.
  • Rick - In Reply - 4 years ago
Eljer This is a challenging subject biblically angels true God, devils not demons opposite power,

agents that either work for the True God Angels or Satan devils. Examples of operation are by what they either

do positively or negatively affect mankind. Messengers of God Genesis 18:2 they appeared in front of Him then he

made food for them and they ate then they told Sarah about the son she would have GOOD NEWS then they

headed toward sodom and rescued lot and wife and daughters literally dragging them out. They can disappear

and reappear and operate Gods power when and if necessary always for the benefit of believers and Gods Will.

Now the other side they are invisible but what they cause is visible Mathew 9:32+33

and the man spake. The spiritual problem was eliminated and Gods Deliverance was manifested, Mathew 12:22+

23 the blind and dumb spake and saw. They are invisible but there work is visible to the senses. They knew who

Jesus Christ was Mathew 8:29 what have we to do with thee Son of the Most high God. You do not deal with this

unless God specifically tells you too, it is not a guessing game. God will make you aware of what to do or what not

to do. Notice Mathew 8:16 the Power of the spoken word when believed. The enemy and his messengers know who

Jesus Christ is and the authority he was Given and were terrified of Him. Our guard is being born again and renewed

mind walk in deliverance in Christ jesus by the spirit. Ephesians 6:12

    Hi Khalif,

I don't have a good answer for your question, but can talk generally about living as a Christian.

As Christians we aren't promised a problem-free life. The Bible says will actually be harder for us due to persecution, etc.

Some Christians assume Romans 8:28 means they deserve or are entitled to a privileged life. Some like Osteen preach this on TV which is a false teaching in my opinion. Some people are told if they're not living in sin they will get free goodies/rewards from God, like money, possessions, health, good relationships, etc. It's really a self centered immature and distorted perspective. God isn't a genie in a lamp here to serve us. If anything its the opposite- we exist at the pleasure of God and to serve Him.

Paul was shipwrecked, beaten, chased, in prison, you name it, but was one the most prominent Christian evangelists. He was persecuted and had a rough life, not a prosperity-gospel type life full of 'abundance' in this world. But Paul said he found the secret of contentment. Have you read that before? Here's a guy you would assume would be very depressed and discouraged, but he wasn't. He cracked the code. We don't need to fill ourselves with outside things to make us feel whole, but can be content as we are. God is the strength in our weakness and can make up the difference. So, in terms of managing frustration, maybe reading more about Paul may help: Philippians 4:10-13.

As far as relationships, some I know seemed to find partners when young like a God-arranged divine event. But others I know have been single their whole lives. Each pray and are serious about their walk with God.

    God bless...

Is there anyone who is able to prove using logic that God exists and that it is the God of the Bible that is the Highest?

I'm not asking for my sake. I do believe. I want to see if anyone knows the answer to this challenge.
  • GRACE_ambassador Asleep Awaiting resurrection - In Reply on 2 Timothy 3 - 4 years ago
Precious Rick asks a Great question "If the dead are already risen and are in heaven then why is the church the body of Christ going to be Raised and meet him in the air in new incorruptible bodies like His In Thessalonians who are the just and unjust that will be raised in the book of revelation?"

Thanks So Much! What Saith The Scripture?

    Part I Asleep Awaiting resurrection

    1) A 'General' (not 'specific') prophecy:

Dan 12:2 "And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt."

'Some' believe: "BOTH At The SAME time." But, 'Impossible' According To Scripture:

    2) 'Specifics' of the general prophecy of resurrection:

Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead (unjust) lived not again ( Rev 20:11-15) until the thousand years were finished...

...This is the first resurrection ("...they lived..." v. 4) . Blessed and holy is he (the just) that hath part in the first 'prophetic' resurrection: on such The Second Death ( Rev 20:15) hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years. Rev 20:6

These 'prophecies' Must Not 'Be Confused (Wrongly COMBINED)' with, But Must Be Rightly Divided 2 Timothy 2:15 FROM:

    God's "Revelation Of The MYSTERY!"

    To be continued

    Part II Asleep Awaiting resurrection

God's 'Prophetic' Program For ISRAEL (see Part I)

Rightly Divided 2 Timothy 2:15 FROM

God's "Revelation Of The MYSTERY (Secret)," for The Body Of CHRIST

3)...Which Has The Following "Specific" 'resurrection/rapture' of ONLY (the just) 'GRACE believers' "who 'SLEEP In Jesus'" AND, at the same time, "we who ARE ALIVE and remain" 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 And 1 Corinthians 15:51-57

Thus, 'these ASLEEP' are NOT 'risen and in heaven,' (Rick, I apologize IF I 'implied' this somewhere), but, are Only the "Conscious Departed souls/spirits" RESTING In Jesus, in Heaven WITH Him, awaiting resurrection (to "Be Brought" and Be Reunited 'with their BODIES' from the graves, and "Changed Into Incorruptible"), According to Plain and Clear Scripture:

"...them also which sleep in JESUS Will 'God Bring With' Him." 1 Thessalonians 4:14 and 1 Corinthians 15:51-57 (Rightly Divided, NOT 'Confused' with Revelation to John, For ISRAEL)

Thus, the answer to the question "the deceased are already with Jesus"? Still stands, According to 2 Corinthians 5:6,8 and Philippians 1:21,23 = God's 'Answer Is YES!'

Perchance there is a 'Different' interpretation that I Cannot see, for "...them also which sleep in JESUS Will 'God Bring With' Him." 1 Thessalonians 4:14 ???

Precious Rick, and all Precious friends, Please Be Encouraged In CHRIST, And HIS Word Of Truth, Rightly Divided!
