Lots greed made him leave Abraham his uncle and a man of God. His greed made him do business with Sodom and eventually move there. He was a man of means and had some authority. He lived there for many years and raised and married off some daughters,no boys,but still had two girls at home. His wife almost certainly was from Sodom and grew up there. He apparently never witnessed to his family and he did not live a clean life hence his son in laws mocked him. The two girls grew up in the filth of Sodom and their morals were non existent. I suspect he wanted to leave but the wife would have none of it, she probably had all her family there. The reason I say that is Hebrews said it vexed his righteous soul being there. Also, keep in mind I think he rarely kept in touch with Abraham.

Lord Jesus, I am continuing to ask for strong protection (pleading the blood of Jesus over us & family and asking for Holy Warrior angels and a wall of Holy Spirit fire to surround each of us), deliverance, healing (thank you for all healing you have already granted, we need a lot of healing in the heart), peace and salvation and wisdom and an infilling with the Holy Spirit. Please grant what Paul prayed in Eph. 3:14-19 for each of us. Also Lord please intervene concerning the painful things you know about. Please send encouragement. Please forgive the sins that have led to these things. Please do all this also for all others in need. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray Lord Jesus. Amen

I don't believe it's an oversight that God did not tell us the names of Lot's two daughters. Their story is inextricably linked to their father's actions and has implications not only for young people who find themselves in difficult situations, but a warning to every parent. It's a sad story in many ways, but also reveals God's merciful and redemptive character. We don't know their names because they could be any of us, were we to find ourselves in the similar circumstances.

[Don't Underestimate the Power of a Sinful Environment to Sear the Conscience]

In our modern culture, we are quick to judge these two young women and assure ourselves we would never resort to such desperate actions. We would be wise to learn from their experience.

Lot's daughters had grown up in a city where sexual immorality was commonly accepted. They were engaged to young men who scoffed at God's warning. God told Abraham, "The outcry of Sodom and Gomorrah is indeed great, and their sin is exceedingly grave" ( Genesis 18:20). Apparently, there were not even ten righteous people in the city. Being surrounded by such influences had obviously seared the consciences of these two women; their idea to have sexual relations with their father seemed a logical and acceptable solution.

Left to ourselves, the human heart is deceitful and desperately wicked ( Jeremiah 17:9). Without the restraining and redeeming influence of God's Word and His Holy Spirit, we can't imagine the depths of sin to which we might go. Lot had failed to teach his daughters the truth about who God is; they were simply acting in accordance with the lifestyle and knowledge they had been given.

We have been mistakenly taught that fallen angels are demons and posess people. Show me in the Bible where an angel did that. Angel are three demensional beings who can shape shift into almost anything. Heaven is a real solid place or Elijah and Enoch are walking on clouds. A demon is the soul of a dead giant. Hell was prepared for fallen angels who are chained in one section and humans are given a TEMPORARY indestructible body and tortured in flames. The story of Lazarus and the rich man is literally TRUE. The souls of the dead giants are as the Bible calls them the Raphaim and it says they will live again during the Tribulation.

Mr Priday, you never answered my question. The beast lived and was one of the 7 kings he dies and goes to hell. He is allowed to live again and yes an assassination attempt is made probably set up by him and most likely he is shot in the eye (Satanist have an obsession with what's called one eye).He cannot die because he has always died once. A jew has to be a descendant of Abraham who was a descendant of Shem. Blacks (I am black) and whites who are not descendants of Abraham cannot be Jews. Estimated 80% of the Jews in Israel and around the world by their own admission are not descendants off Abraham and are called Askenazi jews. I have many Jewish friends who will readily admit they are not descendants of Abraham. Why is this so hard for Christians to accept.

There was a dry time in my life, when I wasn't hearing the Lords voice. He told me to go sit in a cave; another time under a shrub. He was wanting me to turn to Him in darkness, for my Light. He fed me my food from the Bible. He taught me to depend on Him and quit trying "to make things happen" faster.

Learning to be quiet with grace, is hard. Over all the racket; to hear that still small voice say: here I am in the midst of your storm. Peace. Be still.

I remember those nice days, going to Church with friends, then going to lunch together; movies, miniature golf etc. Jesus has much bigger work for us to do. Ask Pastor or his associate Pastor if there is anything you can help with. If helping others is beneath our skill set, we're not teachable yet. The Potters clay has to be moist and malleable for Him to make it into something useful or beautiful. Finally he thinks it's ready: into the fire we go. We are becoming useful to the Master Potter.

No matter how lonely sometimes, or a quiet room that shouts; He's always there with us.

Branch out and find someone who needs a kind word; a scripture; be someone who believes Heaven is a real place. Jesus will be there when we arrive.

Tell others how to get there. The Bible says earth is not our home. We are aliens. Our home is in Jesus. Someday to see Him as he is.

The Lords day as in sabbath or the second coming? Yet my last reply to him was merely to point out that we no longer have to follow old testament laws. Follow 10 commandments yes or we wouldn't be Christian and shouldn't do anything wrong. Although we read the whole bible, Once Jesus died for all our sins (past, present & future) and resurrected for our justification ("just if I'd" never sinned) then all we need to do is "believe that" by faith.! God will guide us through the rest of our lives (His will for us). i.e. Follow your heart for it's God given intuition (some believe, an angel beside you) guiding us to do what He wills. Not listening to satan telling you that your not good enough or put it off till tomorrow for tomorrow isn't promised. Everything is in Gods time and for His glory. The more we listen the better our lives will be because when we don't listen that is when satan takes the opportunity to jump in and devour everything around us little by little. Hello, I ask all of you that has some belief in the healing power of Jesus Christ to pray that my mother will get healed from cancer. I will also try to fast and pray myself until she is healed. It's an aggressive type cancer, but I know with God nothing is impossible, I have seen remission in cancer from prayers before, so please believe that your prayers is heard and answered by our Father in Jesus name.

There are many views on what you mentioned. I think you would learn a lot on Nelson Walters videos on YouTube. He shows maps and explanations for his views on prophesy. Rather than ask the question and get many replies. Erick Stakelbeck's videos are helpful too. He is a Jewish believer in Jesus as his Messiah.

Like me, view Nelson's teachings and take rapid notes, all of the scriptures he gives, and look them up for yourself, in your Bible. I hope your Bible has maps; if not you can Google maps on Bible Prophesy.

We live in very exciting days! Jesus will be returning soon. Is very important to become a Christian and be ready for Messiah Jesus's return to earth.

I used to believe strongly that Rome was the whore of Babylon because of all the strange demonic art and paintings; secret rooms in the basement of the Vatican.

Rather than get all wrapped up in those mysteries, I think our time would be better served building up our Churches, evangelizing the unsaved, and doing what Jesus told us to do in the New Testament of the Bible.

I do not pretend, nor think I know the mind of my Father, so I will not argue this. I do know that many of us will be surprised after life on earth how much we did not know about our Father's thoughts and wishes. If anyone knows for sure, step right up, and tell me. It is not what JWs, Catholics, Jews, Lutherans, Episcopals, et al believes, it is attacking other religions, because one is arrogant enough to think they have all the information and know what is right and wrong. Attacking another's beliefs in the One God, Our Father, is not what Jesus would do. I don't know if Jesus venerated his mother to others satisfaction, but he did to my satisfaction. Even Muslims hold Mary in a special place. BTW, RC's have ties to the life of Jesus and interpreting while translating the bible does not work for me. Do not complicate the love of God, either his of us, or of anyone who believes and loves Him.
