You will know where the Temple of God is if you can't find the location by understanding the scriptures. Does it really matter if it's not called 'Rapture'? 1Thessalonians cahpter 4:16 clearly states, "For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." Wherefore comfort ye one another with these words." The bible does not tell us to haggle over exact words, but tells us to be ready and to draw people with love and not to alienate with debate. I notice that you have commented on many scriptures and acknowledge you are well-learned so keep it up! I love to see God's children embracing His Word and love to learn from them because they always bring it back to what what He has to say about things. I don't consider myself a "scholar" by any means and always feel so undesevring of His blessings even the blessing of understanding His Word but I know I wouldn't be able to receive it if it wasn't within the bounds of His will so I praise God every day for even the smallest ounce of truth I may be given. Answer: When the whole world sees the anti-christ standing in Jerusalem claiming to be God, this entity that is super-natural, who is able to snap his fingers and make lightning come from the sky, performing "miracles" before the sight of man, you think people unlearned won't believe that? Besides, what does the name "Jesus Christ" mean? Jesus "Yahshua" in the hebrew means "Yahs Saviour", "Yah" being the sacred name of the Father. The anti-christ comes "peacefully and prosperously", which let's us know he comes to bring peace and money for all, whether you call him Jesus or any other name, it's the POSITION he takes in the minds of people that counts. "Christ" or "Cristos" in the greek means "the Annointed One", as in to annoint with oil, oil always being symbolic of truth. The anti-christ, satan, is his a scripture lawyer, what did he use to tempt Christ in the wilderness? Scripture. Only he changes it just enough to make it work in his favor, and if you're not studied in scripture it's easy to be deceived for he is very cunning. The meaning of coming as a thief is that they will know when He comes but will be caught unaware and will be rejected, will have no chance to escape. So we shall not be left for the night. Coming of the Son of Man as a thief at night is about the day of the Lord. The Church is looking for Him not as a thief in the night. His coming as a thief in the night is for those who do not expecting Him, the Church is not of that fold.

Paul begins with telling about the coming of the Lord and our gathering together to Him. But he warns in verse 2 that people are to be deceived about the day of Christ. The day of Christ will not come until the wicked one is revealed.

The day of Christ or the day of the Lord is not about the coming of the Lord for His Church.
Many are deceived after reading this chapter 2 that the day of Christ is about the coming of the Lord for the Church. Paul clearly state that some people may write to you that the day of Christ is at hand, since this day of Christ is different Paul goes on telling what is it and what must precede it. The Church must not be cheated with wrong interpretations. This chapter 2 is about the day of Christ which Paul was mentioning because there are every chance that people may mistake it for the coming of the Lord for the Church

Don't let anyone, spirit,words,or the last letter from us speaking of where are the dead because if your not in the flesh your with the Father, so don't let men shake your mind because its like this. I agree with Garyloyd , that "2Thess.2;1-4" tells us that Antichrist comes first and tries to pretend that he is Christ, fooling the world. After that, Christ returns to set up his Kingdom here on Earth. The beast is destroyed by the brightness of Christ's coming and the Spirit of His mouth according to 2nd Thess. 2. In Daniel 11:45 when the beast comes to his end is when Christ returns. Chapter 12 verse1 of Daniel shows that "at that time thy people shall be delivered". AFTER enduring the 1,290 days of the beast. Many think that they will be taken before the beast declares himself to be God. Obviously this is not so once you examine verse 31 of Daniel 11 where the daily sacrifice is taken away and the abomination that maketh desolate set up. This ABOMINATION is when the beast goes into the Holy place and declares he is God (notice Jesus does not say "Temple" in Matt 24 , so it is HIGHLY possible this could be the Dome of the Rock, even though as Christians we may not regard this as a Holy place). Notice AFTER this in verses 32,33,34 and 35. God's people are obviously here. In Daniel 12:11 we see that there shall be 1,290 days from the abomination which maketh desolate until the destruction of the beast and Christ's return. People say, "no man knoweth the hour or the day" out of context. No man knoweth the hour or the day BETWEEN the 1,290th and 1,335th day. A 45 day span. The Angels will be sent to gather the elect during this entire 45 day span. No place in the Bible does it say that this will be done in one day as all have come to assume. They link Jesus coming and their gathering by the Angels as one in the same but it is not correct. You may argue that it says this but it can not be validated as exact. Right here we have validation as to EXACT days. It can not be argued that Christ's LIGHT will not shine over the earth and the beast destroyed on the 1,290th day. This is EXACTLY what is going to happen. This is what people have missed. What will we be waiting for otherwise on the 1,290th day? ...Santa Claus? ...Give me a break! No man knoweth the hour or day they will be GATHERED by the Angels BETWEEN the 1,290th day and the 1,335th day. So much for the misleading description of "rapture", which is not Biblical whatsoever and tends to give the perception of a one-day event. It will be a 45 day event, as shown here in Daniel 12. We therefore know the exact day we will see Jesus light shine over the earth and the beast destroyed. This can mean nothing else. If so, present it. Truth is what should prevail.
