we should always live each day prepared, we never know when our end will come, so those days should make no difference at all as long as we are walking in the path towards the Father, the words we read teach us how to live, and what to look for in the coming of time if we are still amongst the living,I yearn for the peace and the joy in his presence, to kiss his cheek and to be home finally

Matthew 24 was my dad's favorite scripture, when I read it I can still here his voice the words of this chapter are so true of things to come that they make me shiver......

Great. I love this. This is a great opportunity that we could share the word of God to non believers. And this is a great opportunity that the non believers could read the Holy Bible see the truth for them selves. Specially the Muslims.

As witnessed by our Holy Father, Christ is come in the flesh, even risen again from the dead. Is not GOD giving his lost sheep repentance, commanding men to watch for the end? As it is written, For the mystery of iniquity doth (did) already work: only he who now lets will let, until he be taken out of the way. So, is it written, Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth (did) come.

For Phillip Hill- the kingdom of heaven that Jesus talked about is a metaphor for a spiritual life that lies within each person. This is eternal and will never pass away no matter what. The heavens that will pass away is that of the sun the moon and the stars. These will come to a final and permanent end. Don’t worry it is God’s good pleasure to give us his eternal and blessed ‘kingdom of heaven’.

IT IS DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND MATHEW-24, WE MUST READ ALL WAYS AND CONTINUOUSLY , THEN WE CAN KNOW WHAT IS SAYING ,---RANJIT

In verse 35, our Lord is talking about the new heaven and earth when our God will come and dwell among us ( Rev. 21:1-5). Our Lord will first come and send his angels to gather his elect or chosen and take them out of the earth (verses 29-31). Then the end will come followed by the renewal ( Rev. 16:17-21, Ezek. 47:1-12).

I don't understand why heaven passes away

this is the last days matthew 24is telling us we have noexcuse

Verse 50 would lead to post tribulation rapture. Since pretrib would say all servants good and bad have same reward. Good servants will heed revelation 16 verse 15 just before Armageddon.

Donnie I do pray daily for peace to come for Israel, and for all to know the true word, the meaning of the cross and Christ did come in the flesh, so knowone should parish in sin, I pray everyone lays it all at the cross and asks God for his mercies and grace to be upon all, we need to battle even in the love of Christ to speak the truth God Bless you and all Peace be with you all

When this was written Jesus Christ did not know the day when Jehovah God was going to act so this shows that Jehovah God and Jesus Christ are separate people.

What Jesus says in this chapter of the book of Matthew clearly should show EVERYONE that the rapture will occur AFTER the Tribulation, not before.

we live in a world were we have preachers teaching all sins are forgiven just except Christ as your saviour, without knowing we are to believe and live in God's word, to become like one with him, not like the politicians not on their word, how can we even call ourselves Christians are we not hypocrites to God's word? Mary Lively, the "flight" is the shifting of people out of the modern day West Bank upon the desolation. Imagine having to flee into the mountains on foot during the winter time. Also, if this were to happen on a sabbath day, there will be much confusion and possible disregard for the times, therefore, those people may be swayed by the many and possibly lose vital time in their decision to flee.

it says after the great tribulation (destruction of the temple )the sun and moon and stars to be darkened.. that i believe is the high preist, council, and the rabbis.. eliminated because Jesus is now the high preist, apostles and prophets foundation and saints = stones and or preists
but then it says again son of man coming in the clouds which is Jesus judgement.. but that already happenned..
