Matthew 24:8 For these are the beginning of sorrows.. I too believe that the pestilence we are seeing today along with other signs like increased earthquakes, plague of locust coming in middle east (see ktfnews dot com) the immorality of this nation as well as the world like same sex marriage, abortion/late term abortion and the continued disobedience of Gods commandments, yes, that means commandment number 4 too.. God is trying to wake many people up to worship Him and His laws not mans. Prayer and study of Gods Word is a must...Stay strong in Christ...

A true Christian would not even consider killing her own baby for any reason. Only God has the right to take a life away. Of the ten commandments, number 6: Thou Shalt Not Kill. Also Proverbs 6:16-19: Please read all three verses: God detests shedding of innocent blood. Don't listen to the media because they are evil and do not know Christ. You must read the Word and obey it. The baby has a right to live just as all of us. We must submit to Christ's authority over our lives...every one of us.

My take on it is this: when you go to McDonalds there's always someone asking for change. Many times you'll see the same guy for years on end.

Anyone in a city can tell you about the guys who roll around with gas cans , asking you to spare a few bucks because they just ran out of gas and need to get to work, only to turn around and hit the liquor store.

After years and years and tale upon tale of the same old tired lines; there comes a point where you wax cold to the plight of anyone, needing anything!

RE: Verse 7 Ch. 24 How many folks here believe as a student of the 'Word' that this COVID 19 pandemic is a 'type' or 'foreshadow' of the coming of Jesus Christ. Most of the puzzle pieces are already appearing. The decadence of morality 'as in the day's of Noah' are in full view. Micro electronics and everything related is coming into full completion to bring in the 'final 1 World system' Your deepest thoughts are welcome. The times are like a flood coming very quick !

That God gives life and only He can take it. Life is breathed in at the moment of conception. God knew us even before we were. He knows everything about us to knowing the very hairs on our head . The 10 commandments say we are not to kill. Satan is the one who goes about killing, we must open our hearts and minds to see how God feels about life.

You might find that the same people killing Christians in the tribulation will be the same ones who killed Jesus and the apostles and Christ's followers.
King James Bible book of John 5:16 - And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.


John 5:18 - Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.


John 7:1 - After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because the Jews sought to kill him.

In the time of Jacob's trouble which is the time that Jesus is talking about people will be having to honour the sabbath again, new dispensational period. To escape the antichrist and all of his followers who want to kill the Jews they will be wanting to take flights into places where they will hopefully be safe and during this time there will be no flights on the sabbath day. Its quite literal I believe.

Where the above relates to SALVATION through JESUS I say WOW! WOW! WOW! because I understand from the above, JESUS return could have have been yesterday, but JESUS did not return yesterday so I pinch myself to remember oh, oh, JESUS is merciful, long-suffering,... ensuring all who will enter in SALVATION enter in before JESUS return as stated above. Thank GOD for JOHN 3:16-21.

So am I to understand that God will make a new Earth and Heaven because Satan has contaminated this ones? I don't find that hard to believe because, our God can do anything since he is an awesome God, creator of Heaven and Earth and there's no other more powerful than He.

We are already in those Times of Sorrow with the floods, fires, earthquakes, wars and rumours of wars... Christ and His disciples observed all of God's Laws from the Old Testament, so must we.. Only those who have repented and are baptised full immersion as Christ commanded, can be ready for those End time to come, with much worse in the Great Tribulation to follow... God commanded us to keep His 7th day Saturday Sabbath not Sunday His annual Feast Days and His Dietary Laws of Clean and Unclean forbidden meat if we don't observe those things we are not ready for the End Times to come....

Many say that the old Laws are not relevant today because of the Cross.... We must remember that Jesus taught His disciples from the Old Testament scriptures, He taught them to keep the 10 Commandments, His annual Holy Feast Days, His dietery Laws of Clean and Unclean meats... Especially the 4th Commandment, Remember My Sabbath to keep it Holy the 7th day Sabbath not the pagan Sunday 'Sabbath.'

Matthew 24 is about the signs of the End Times before Christ's 2nd Coming to earth. Jesus tells us what signs to look out for. We are seeing those signs already today, wars, rumours of wars, commotions, earthquakes, floods, fires this tells us that we are in the Times of Sorrow, before the beginning of the Great Tribulation, which will destroy most of mankind and the earth...Be prepared...

Gary. S I agree with you. The true gospel is about the coming Kingdom of God, which Jesus preached. Matthew 4:23 I have read Mr. Herbert Armstrong's published books and I have enjoyed all of them.

Professing Christianity has been preaching their version of a gospel message throughout this world since Christ was here in the flesh 2000 years ago. The true gospel is of the coming Kingdom of God to which true Christians can be born into by a second birth, that is a Spiritual birth. This real gospel that Christ preached has been published to the world by Herbert W. Armstrong in this end age.

A careless Christian will spend time attacking fellow Christian workers by speaking evil and backbiting and also having a compromising life with unbelievers, such a Christian will be caught unawares.
