Okay Mishael, I don't want to rub it in but your convert here misses you. Just talked to my Nigerian brother Minister Patrick, He is well and sounds hopeful. He knows of no one personally who has died of Covid19 but does know the loss of a close friend that was kidnapped and later murdered this past January. Prayer is definitely desired but life goes on for most that stay close to their villages where they are more understood by their love. Phone call brought up the subject of running a little village Christian school. So looks like a bank trip sometime soon. :)

Four Horsemen: Book of Revelation, Zechariah and Book of John (Patmos)

The four horsemen are described as Satan's army, Conquest, War, Famine and Death. One of the horsemen, Famine, deceives Satan with the intention of working for the side of good.

Four figures in the Book of Revelation who symbolize the evils to come at the end of the world: They are often called the four horsemen of the Apocalypse=

The figure representing CONQUEST rides a white horse

    WAR rides a red horse

    FAMINE, a black horse

PLAGUE and PESTILENCE, (world pandemic) a pale horse. They are often called the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Personally, I believe conquest is the subverting of world governments or political power. The Antichrist goal is to produce one world government and one world religion. Also, one world money system, which the Beast will use to deceive people into taking his Mark into their foreheads or hands: in order to buy and sell goods.

Different Bible translations say of Matthew 24: plagues, pestilence. Our society calls it world pandemics. It's a disguise for the truth told to us 2000 years ago.

All these things are happening together in THIS century; Jesus told us these are the signs of the last generation of people.

Keep watch on world money systems changing to create the One World Money System. Such as bitcoins and other manipulations. Don't fall into the trap thinking governments cannot possibly de-value the money, gold, silver and precious stones, minerals.

    Revelation 6:1-8

I'm challenging everyone to call their local Christian radio stations, to play this song frequently. It stirs my soul. We possess power to turn the evil to glory, for the Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you Jesse, I support what you have written. On Churches today, and I do not feel that it is wrong for a paid ministry and paid positions within a church, but it does make it very difficult to be obedient to some of the Church teachings read in the scriptures due to bias.

    Carleton,

This reminded me of the man that was involved in sexual immorality in 1 Corinthians. This man was committing fornication with his step mother and the church was not doing anything about it. Paul gave them instruction that if he did not repent, they had to remove him from fellowship until he repented.

Well, they ended up removing him. But what happened is that after this man was removed and he repented, they didn't want to let him back in. When I read that they did not want to let him back in, I was a little humored by that. I thought to myself, "Here's a church that doesn't follow instruction very well!" Paul gave them instruction to let him back in. They wouldn't let him back in and Paul addressed that also in 2 Corinthians.

Paul says in 1 Corinthians 5:5 to deliver such a one unto Satan, notice this: for the destruction of the flesh that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

In Galatians Chapter 6, Paul says that if someone is overtaken by a sin, he says you who are spiritual, restore such a one. No matter what discipline is involved, it always must be to reach the goal of restoration.

I think the whole point is to deliver such a one over to Satan. If they want their sin, and they don't want to repent, but they still want to fellowship in the church, give them over to Satan.

Separate them from fellowship so that their flesh will be destroyed. But the goal is so that their spirit will be saved in the day of the Lord. So it's not punishment. It's for their own good. A saved person who is removed from the fellowship will not be able to stay away for very long before they repent.

You gave a great testimony of true repentance and how the church should deal with such a one involved in sin. I wish churches today would follow this teaching Paul gave instead of ignoring things in fear of losing members, or fear of getting sued.

I do have to say that this is the first time I ever heard of a brother or sister asking to be removed.

Thank you Jesse for the encouragement! I have witnessed once before a born again member that (I can't remember the sin) that had fallen into some kind of sin and had been asked by the church to repent. It was near the time I became aware of his condition that he very much wanted restoration, he cried out earnestly for grace and claimed he was not finding it. Time went on for awhile and he felt he was not forgiven. Eventually, might have been a week or two or a month and the church with the brother's desire, separated him officially from the fold. The same night he went home and prayed and found forgiveness and peace. The following day he was re- accepted as a faithful full member of the church. This event is at least one of two that I have seen with my own eyes where clearly there was darkness then light again after once being born again.

    Hello again Carleton,

I actually read through your post a couple times. My thoughts are that the Holy Spirit never left you, even though you may have gone your own direction for a short time.

I believe that when we stray, God deals with us. I don't believe a true believer can ever separate themselves from God's Spirit who dwells in us. I believe that when we go off in our own direction, God's Spirit is still with us.

A true believer can not stray for very long because God's Spirit that lives in us brings conviction.

Although we can break our fellowship with the Lord, I don't believe His Spirit ever leaves us. Fellowship can be broken but the relationship as a child of God remains the same.

I've gone through periods in my walk with the Lord where I strayed from Him. But I know His Spirit never left me. And because His Spirit permanently abides in me, He brings conviction and deals with me, and that is why I always come back.

I personally don't believe salvation can ever be lost. God's Spirit indwells every believer. When we receive the Spirit, we receive Christ, and He has promised to never leave us nor forsake us.

All glory to God for bringing you back into fellowship with Christ. No matter how many times a believer strays, He will always be there to convict them and bring them back into perfect fellowship.

Hi Jesse, I can give an example of my early Christian life prior to marriage. I was likely 33 at the time. I fell back into a willing what I call death sin and lost my peace and fulness of the Holy Ghost. It was more like the Holy Ghost was back outside of me pleading for my return. As you mentioned Jesse I had to find complete repentance for the full restoration of the Holy Ghost leading and protecting me from inside myself. It is a much more difficult path to find restoration than the original born again experience because I knew so much more. To separate myself from the sin and then to seek repentance was a real battle and it took me nearly six months to find the grace to separate and truly repent. As far as the lost state, I believe the call to repentance by Jesus through the Holy Ghost was persistant and always nearby. However I knew if I did not return to my earlier state of the Indwelling Holy Spirit I was lost, and perhaps in worse condition that my pre-born again condition. I hope this experience is helpful to someone out there.

    Don,

Sin after salvation does not cancel out salvation. If that were the case, we would have to be saved over and over again. When we are saved, we enter into a permanent relationship with Jesus Christ. I believe what happens when a saved believer commits an act of sin, the believer's fellowship with Christ is disrupted until we confess and repent of that sin, but our relationship as a son/daughter with Christ never changes.

If you are saved now, God's Spirit has sealed your spirit, and it by His grace that you will endure in your salvation until He comes to redeem His possession, which is you and I.

Says who? It hasn't to me. Has it to you? Just because a small, but loud group says or does something or just because TV propaganda says something doesn't mean it's true or that I have any less right to celebrate Jesus Christ every day. No one can take that away. Christ is literally in the name Christmas.
  • Wallis - In Reply on Matthew 1 - 4 years ago
    Adam,

Betty might be a Jehovah's Witness. They don't celebrate any holidays or special occasions. Not even their kids' birthdays. I knew a couple of former JWs and they would get so mad about never having had a birthday. I guess they think we all worship everyone with a pagan holiday for every person we know. Strange customs are one sign of it being a cult. Jews only had sad holidays.

A lot of atheistic and anti-Christian documentaries are out now, trying to hide the divine mystery of Christ. One of these is Zeitgeist, which purports to debunk Christianity as being a copy of older pagan rituals that men who wrote the Bible stole. However, we know there is nothing older than God, the Alpha and Omega. Christ was set to be our Redeemer always, from the beginning of time and even before that. Men did not write the Bible alone. Satan is the liar. He is the one who stole the story and presented it over and over in hopes of defiling the miracles of God.

So yes, Satan made Isis, Osirus, and Horus. Nimrod dies and his mother Semiramis says she is pregnant by her dead son with his own reincarnation. There was a tree with presents underneath around the winter solstice. Saturnalia worshipped Saturn, another named for Satan. Sol Invictus was the birthday of the sun, the 25th of Dec. But what if all that was planned because Satan knew beforehand that Christ would be born then? Why do we celebrate Easter? That is a fertility ritual named after goddess Ishtar. It's based on Passover, not the equinox. It's a Resurrection celebration. Eggs and bunnies bring back the fertility thing. God said our offspring would number like grains of sand. Be fruitful!

Sin and death were conquered. We're free from the old Law through grace.

    I Cor 2:7-8

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

I don't assume that Christmas is a pagan holiday. It has become a pagan holiday, forgetting the real reason for the holiday.
  • Adam - In Reply on Matthew 1 - 4 years ago
    Hi Betty,

Why do you assume December 25th is a 'pagan' day and not a Christian day? Are you 100% sure it wasn't a Christian day already before others started pretending it was instead 'their' day? Should Christians then cower and yield to evil everytime evil challenges them?

What if you researched and found that every day of the year could be associated with some kind of witchcraft, pagan, satanic, or other evil forces, does that mean Christians should never do anything ever again? What if the opposite happened- that Christians stopped being afraid and stood up and boldly celebrated Jesus?

Christmas is the #1 holiday in the world and it is a Christian holiday. To many it is the only time they hear about Jesus- some for the first time. Yes, it's imperfect and some people distort and commercialize and mass up the message, but you have to admit it gets through, and people have a lot of associations with love, family, and Jesus. Why would you want to take away? If someone's goal is to remove the one opportunity some have to learn about Jesus are they doing the work of God or of satan?

So, if we don't know precisely what day Jesus was born is that a reason to stop all celebrating of Jesus on Christmas?
  • Betty on Matthew 1 - 4 years ago
Why do Christians continue to celebrate Christmas on December 25 when it is based on paganism? Why doesn't the church teach why That day was chosen as Jesus' birthday? The truth needs to be taught.

God is my savior remind I'm not alone. Man should love his wife as God love his church. Depart Devil this is my house I'm the master here and God is master of my soul my love

  • Steven Spencer - In Reply on Matthew 1 - 4 years ago
Hi Willoughby, Prayer, It works "but God wants your own" not a loaner. And walking together in Gods will. I think God gives us marriage to communicate to us Christ love for the church, the love and relationship between a husband and wife should model Christ relationship to the church. Ephesians 5:22-32 (KJV) Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

    Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. We have to incorporate the fruit of the Spirit love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. and forgiveness and humility. I hope that helps, thanks.
  • A Marriage Prayer to pray every day out loud - In Reply on Matthew 1 - 4 years ago
Dear God, thank you that this the day that the Lord has made. Thank you for my life and my wife's life.

I ask that You would protect us from the schemes of the devil to distract and frustrate and tempt us to sin against each other.

I pray that all ancestral and familiar spirits be bound in the Name of Jesus and cast into outer darkness to stay there and never return!

Holy Spirit help us to resist the blame and accusations of satan and flee temptation.

In moments of weakness, please help us to give grace (unearned favor), and forgiveness to each other. Help us to support each other and keep each other accountable on a daily basis. I receive Your strength to repent and run from it.

In the Name of Jesus, I reject the spirit of Jezebel (in the Bible) and cut all ties to bondages. It is written: Resist the Devil and he must flee. The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy this marriage.

Help us be quick to forgive and lift each other up in Your strength so that we may enjoy Your perfect will for our marriage and our life together. Holy Spirit enable us to put Jesus first in our marriage and our lives, every day.

Thank you, Heavenly Father, in the Name and Power of Your Son, Jesus. Amen
