genesis is the only book that gives us a starting time of how the universe came about. Made by a loveing God for His creation. Even though man sinned and God flooded the earth , this was done out of love and not spite . Today we still see Gods hand print on earth , even through all the destruction man has caused , our earth is still beautiful .

God created Adam eve and tell em to fill e earth God knows e 2 can do it he didn't create Adam two or more Eves for 1 Adam

Genesis chapter 1:26 says that God created man and then chapter 2 is where God said that He created Adam. This kind of confusing.

God created heaven and earth through his word,man was created in his likeness meaning in whatever we say there's power to build or destroy.

Genesis means coming into being, and describes how God made the earth, and formed man in His own image and likeness. It also describes how God himself was one with man until man disobeys God. We also see how God had the plan of salvation in place.

We must always speak the word of God to our situation because a closed mouth is a closed destiny.

I love reading the bible its an inspiration to my soul

From basic understanding, the original food intended for humanity was fruits and herbs, however sin changed the order of things on the earth realm where man began to eat meat instead. That was never Gods plan from the start.

Why does some interpretations say heavens and why the plural?

In Gen. 1 vs. 26 God is used in a plural form as in being A Unity God - just as The Jews believe that He is , The Father Jehovah and The Messiah being together during the creation both taking a part in it !, I go back to the Father I came from . I cannot agree with what others here may say about Vs. 1:26 "Let US " being not two or a unity involved in the creation process especially when it refers to Gods Image and His likeness ! Jesus said to Philip He who has seen me has seen The Father , by saying that He was saying I am God in The flesh basically ! , To Moshe God said Say I am that I am has sent me unto You , that is how Moshe was instructed to speak to the Jews. I am the father and I am the son or messiah is what God was talking about with I am that I am and Hear O Israel The Lord Your God is One Lord and You shall love Him with all of Your heart soul mind and strength. Jehovah saved the Jews from Egypt and The Messiah or Jesus saves Us from our sins - both are Manifestations of God and His Powers and both are Clearly Deliverers of Gods people , The one deliverance at Calvary required flesh as in a Holy blood atonement and the other with Moshe in Egypt did not require God to be here in The Flesh! . Man was not ever able to be Holy and to atone for his sins so God had to do it by himself through Messiah's Holy Blood!. Let US means "US" it is not singular !

God made it all so He owns it all also ! The earth and the fullness thereof are mine saith the Lord !

When God use 'we' does not mean he's many per say.God always use it to show the kind of mighty power he has. Some king uses similar thing whenever they want to give commands too.

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. - WHO IS US? WHO IS "AFTER OUR IMAGE"? WHOS IS "AFTER OUR LIKENESS"?

Chris the garden of Eden had soil and that would be earth cause you can't have a sod buster without sod and them sons of God in chapter 6 were fallen angel's who left their first estate written in the Book of Jude. They, the fallen were trying to destroy the seed line that CHRIST would come through so God flooded the area. Now 2 of every flesh got on the Noah's boat so 2 of Cain's descendants also got on.

Genisis 1: on day six Christ Jesus created male and female animals and mankind, and they multiplied. Genisis 2: God created Adam and put him in eden wich is in heaven and after that eve from adam. Yes there is a difference between the 6th day mankind and Adam and Eve , yes the order of things are different from genisis 1 and genisis 2 . Cain married one of the 6th day created women and also in genisis 6: we see more sons of God taking wives of the daughters of men, again pointing out that there is a deference between the two . We see that in scripture if we ask God and believe he will answer he explains or will help you understand what he has already explained. Adam is the son of God as seen in the book of Luke,Adam lived almost a thousand years and his descendants lived several hundred years, and 6th day man was given 120 years. The union of both created giants as seen in the scripture also.hope this helps.

God is not sorry he made us. We have to see the BIG picture. God knew man would sin and need a Saviour! Our sin allows for God to defeat satan once and for all.Did it ever occur to you that nothing accours to God!

Abel That 's because he created them as husband and wife--and the two shall become one--or at least in the eyes of the Lord we should be "one ". It doesn 't mean a literal absorption of the body, but a mental, emotional, and Spiritual "oneness " if you will.

I feel bad because God wished he had not made us

God gave man dominion over all His creation. This is not to say man should relegate God to the background, but rather to put God first in everything. Although we can have all things, we should not make things become objects of worship - i.e. take the place of God crowned in us. The substitution of God for things upset the whole course of nature for it is not what God originally intended.

In the beginning Jesus-GOD created............

Why the last portion of verse 27 is saying "He created him male and female " and not He created them male and female? Because the verse is talking about two persons. Please help me understand.
