To M. Butler Romans 10:9-10 says "That if you shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in your heart that God hath raised him from the dead, you shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

To Lillian You are right, God created every person but scripture says all those who will believe in His Son Jesus only them are the children of God. Otherwise they are God's creation. Jh 1:12 One needs to believe in Jesus Christ and to receive Him as their Lord and personal Saviour without which they are not children of God.

Can someone please help me understand? In verses 26-30 God creates man and woman and they are told to multiply and fill the earth and are instructed concerning the benefits He has made for them. But in chapter 2 vs 7 our creator forms Adam because there is no one on earth. I've always been confused by this but embarrassed to question God's word. Thank you for sharing.

The Lord is the eternal being he has no beginning and no end there fore he is the beginning and the end Rev 1:8.All that he created he made in himself Gen 1:1.He is the existent of everything from Genesis 1 that exist because he is spirit John 4:24, John 1:3.Meditate on the word and he will give you the revelation you need Jeremiah 29:13.

To Bryan Kearley on Gen. 1 - Me too; I've tried to imagine God before anything He created, and - I got - scared, or 'hesitant' to go any farther because - we can't. One day we will see Him as He is and also know ALL things. There are also the secret things of God - that belong only to him.

In verse 26 what do you think the words "let US make" and "after OUR likeness". Both imply more than one or plural.

I think that God is an awesome God.that assured us that we can not do anything with out him.he created all this heaven and earth.

Tony Chapman, you think that is curiously awesome? Pay very close attention to Gen 1:4 God divided the light from the darkness--indicating that at one time they were co-mingled. I can't even imagine what that would look like!

Genesis 1:1 clearly shows us how powerfull our God is. He created the heavens and the Earth out of nothing.

It's very clear that God created humans in Their likeness. They were ordered to be fruitful and multiply and take dominion over all the earth. On the 6th day v. 27...He completed all His creation. He rested on the 7th. Oh , but then He created a garden... and then He created Adam...so that explains how Cain met his wife. The earth had multiplied with man

Hello Mr Butler very nice to admit who you are and what you are. All you have to do is tell God you sorry for your sins and ask him to forgive you. God is faithful to forgive the most vilest sinner. It's really that simple. Ask Jesus to come into your life and save you and he will do it if you really mean it. If you be real with God he will save your soul and blot out your sins. I'm an athiest, and I want to come forth and give myself to god.. But i do not know how to promptly do so...

This was to show the awesome power of our Lord God. In taking steps he wanted us to see that he could do anything, but it would be on his own time not on our time. Remember that God does everything on his time not ours. This may seem like an answer this question might not fit, but try to have an open mind please. We are tested each day as believes.

When God created heaven and earth one would think that it would have been completely created and it would not have been necessary to create each thing separately.
