Hello sir, i am actually reading the Bible and i would like to understand it it thoroughly, is there a book or an online ressource where i can find a verse by verse commentary of the Bible made by christian scholars , especially the Genesis to start with. thank you very much.

what is the differnce between the first day creation of the earth and the third creation of the earth as well as the first creation of the heaven and the second day creation of the earth.

What I learned about God from this book of the bible is what he spoke came into being. Words are powerful, we can destroy with them, or we can create. God is the creator of good things. In the garden, Satan lied to Eve and here we are today. God still had a greater plan he knew what Satan was going to do and he saved us from the foundation of the world. Just think, when the Lord created the earth, he had us on his mind. What an awesome God we serve!

FOR Alex Paculanang 's Genesis Chapter 1 There is the legend of Lilith which says there was a woman before Eve, but the argument for Lilith is illogical because in Genesis Chapter 1 27 it says male and female so if this means there was a woman before Eve then by the same logic there was a man before Adam. Also note that GOD made them in HIS image What is the image of GOD? HE is spirit not anything physical, therefore this is the "creation " of man GOD created man in spirit! In Chapter 2 GOD then relates how HE made and formed man man was originally a three part being and these words are not used interchangeably man was formed of the dust or clay of the ground, he was made a living soul soul, biblically speaking is breath life once you take your last breath it is gone until the gathering together or the resurrection of the just and or the unjust , he was created in spirit a perfect spirit that had perfect communication with GOD . Thus Chapter 1 tells of the spiritual creation of man and Chapter 2 deals with the physical body and the breath life of man. I hope that answers your question.

Genesis, the truth about how awesome our mighty "GOD " is. It teaches that GOD, is creator of all things, he 's a GOD of power,love,forgiveness, he gave us everything to live well free....if we follow his laws not our own. Then man which mean men women was disobedient to GOD WORD....and that changed everything to this very day, but guess what...the same GOD then is that very same GOD now. Genesis the first chapter is an answer to those who are seeking truth about creation. God is very clear that He is the Creator of all things visible and invisible. This first chapter of the Word of God proves that evolution is false. We did not evolve, we were created by God for His glory!

I especially like the part that tells us to subdue the earth. The devil took away from man the power over the earth. Jesus, our Lord has come to restore us to the glory that existed before sin entered Adam and Eve.

I aways new there was a. God just by looking around at things of this world. And even more so by looking at all the stars,moon, and sun that are in fine tune with world. It was. The bi ble that I had trouble with. Until my life was at rock bottom and I had no where to turn that I remembered the Bible. I had do something or die I gave it chance. the more I would read the more it made since . IRelated to a lot of the stories and know I am not alone to fight this battle that is going on in my mind against good and evil. Thank u God
