To Ray, your anomaly is with good reason. When Jehovah God said let us create man in our own image, He was speaking to someone-Jesus before his prehuman existence on Earth. When Jesus was on the cross at Calvary and He cried out Father why has thou forsaken me, he was speaking to his Father-Jehovah. God the Father, Jesus His Son and the Holy Spirit the comforter are three separate beings. Jesus was not deceiving his followers when He spoke of His Father. He truly was speaking about His Father. When Jesus said I and my Father are one, He was explaining that they have the same will and purpose. The same way a sport team would say we are number one but not actually mean that they are all the same person or being but that they have one goal or purpose. (of course this is a much smaller scale then that of Jesus serving His Father's will)I hope to have helped edify on this matter. Visit "The Bible Standard" website
