The young man fleeing naked, was a significant statement before the next main event of Jesus, being brought before Caiaphas and the elders and scribes, for their kangaroo court! Back in vs.50 all His disiples had already fled, with Peter dragging up in the rear, albeit denying him! Man apart from the gift of God, being infused and imparted with His righteousness which is not after the law but through faith in the Son of God, we are all cowards!! Pro.28 vs 1 says, " the wicked flee when no one pursueth, but the righteous are bold as a lion. This proverb was prohetic and fullfilled here in Mark 14. Jesus told Peter after you are converted strenghten the brethren. No one at this time had recieved conversion with the baptism in the Holy Ghost. All this happened after calvary, after Jesus desended into hades and assended into heaven presenting His blood before the mercy seat in heaven, returning to his disciples and teaching them for 40 days, then assending back to Father God from Mount of Olives, instructing them to wait for the promise of the Father " the baptism of the Holy Ghost"!! Check out the remaining scriptures about how the disciples and all followers of Jesus boldly lived and died in faith and courage. Heap big difference.
So the young streaker, leaving his white linen garment, represents all of us who have tried to cover ourselves in a robe of self-righteousness. Being interested in Jesus, amazed at His teaching, His miracles, His fame, makes one want to be near the action. This is like whats happening!! Many are drawn by excitement, even Herod excitedly wanted to see a miracle. All that is a receipt for cowardice!! The wicked flee---- So his white linen garment speaks of self effort to cover up. Adam tried fig leaves. Works don't work!! Works without faith will have will have all who try it streaking naked. Rev.3;18 Jesus says," that you be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness does not appear. Standing in the robe of righteousness that Jesus gives us--2 things--
    1. No one is going to take it away from us. and--
    2. We ain't running!! Praise God! agape--reggie--
