Those verses are for the watchmen..saints.. elect to always be on guard and sober. Chapter 5 is Speaking of keeping the gospel armor on to be prepared for battle against anti Christ because God did not appoint them to wrath but to obtain salvation with Christ. They have already been chosen as spoken of in Ephesians chapter one and predestine and chosen before the foundation of this earth age of salvation. You can say the saints have already been judged and their job is to stand against Satan at the end of this earth age. Preachers pull verses and twist the word watch out.
