Ye must be perfect. Nothing less. Perfection is a judicial imputation from God the Father to anyone who believes or agrees with the Gospel. There's nothing mystical about faith. In regard to salvation, it is to simply agree with God's report. Of course the stakes are high. We should understand our destiny beyond time is the issue.

Why do so many complicate "faith". Again, it is nothing more than agreement with information that you cannot prove empirically.

Once we believe or agree with the Gospel, God imputes judicial righteousness to us. We are the equivalent of someone who never broker the law. It is an oxymoron of grace. We are judicially perfect, yet still a sinner.

Lay aside the lies of "election" according to Calvin. Lay aside the lie that salvation is an ongoing process involving our works and sacrifices.

The work is done. It is finished. Sin is dead to the extent of penalty, spiritual death. Certainly, we don't have the license to sin, to take advantage of God's grace. But, when we do sin, by acknowledging our sins, God the Father is faithful and just to forgive us and to restore fellowship.
