Greetings to you all. Acts Chapter 10 is all interesting. However, I will only pick the fact that these Gentiles received the baptism of the Holy Ghost Holy Spirit before they were baptized with water. Hehehehe...Water Baptism, the baptism of John, is for repentance from sin and dead works. But notice here in Acts 10 that these men repented without necessarily having been water baptized. If their repentance had not been effective, they would not have received the Holy Ghost. I love to read that Peter commanded they be baptized it is not Peter who Baptized them but his deputies. Now, I am not saying water Baptism is not important but definately not a prerequisite for baptism with the Holy Ghost. Repentance is the prerequisite for Baptism with the Holy Ghost.
