Matthew 28, verses 18 through 20, reads, '18 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. ' Let me say it like this. God is one God, but with three distinctive personalities, or ways of dealing with our salvation. The Father directs God 's affairs, the Holy Spirit helps us to understand what God is doing. But Jesus, the Son, is always the way God speaks to us. This was true, even in the Old Testament. So Jesus says that we are to make this declaration in the name of God, or in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Then he says, I, as the way God speaks to you, have all power in heaven and earth, and I command you to believe it. He then concluded by saying that I, as God, will always be with you, even until the end of the age, or the end of the world. God bless you always!
