Some information about The Book of Revelation.

Divided in the middle, The Book of Revelation has eleven chapters in the first half of the book, and eleven chapters in the second half of the book.

The two halves of the book each contain two storylines. So there are four storylines in the book.

Ch. 4-8, the first storyline is "the seals"

...Ch. 8-11, the second storyline is "the trumpets"

...Ch. 12-16, the third storyline is "the mark of the beast"

Ch. 17-21, the fourth storyline is "the fall of Babylon"

Chapter One is the introduction, and Chapter Twenty-Two is the conclusion

Chapters Two and Three are the messages to the churches. Also, these two chapters contain the gifts of "the marriage.

When Chapters Two and Three are combined, then Chapter Twelve rotates to the central position of the book, making it the chiasmus center of the book.

    1, introduction

    .2-3, gifts of the marriage

..4-11, the seals and trumpets that comprise the entire seven years of tribulation and judgment

...Chapter 12 is the chiasmus center with Verses 12:7-10 as the exact center of the book

..13-16, The mark of the beast storyline that has the beast in Ch. 13, his demise in Ch. 14, and the judgment in 15-16

.17-21, the fall of Babylon that contains the marriage in Chapter Nineteen

    22, conclusion
