The two great commandments listed in Matt 22:37-40 are "Love the Lord with all thy heart all thy soul and all thy mine." The second great commandment is "Love your neighbor as yourself." God's ten commandments are hanging on those two. The first four, on the first table, tell us how to love God with all our heart. (Have no other Gods, not worship images, not take God's name in vain and remember His 7th day Sabbath to keep it holy.) The last six, on the second table deal with loving our neighbor as ourselves. (To honor our parents, not kill, not commit adultery, not steal, not lie, not covet.) Which one or ones of these commandments do you honor? Do you Love God with all your heart, soul and mine? Do you Love your neighbor as yourself?
