    Gen. 3.11 "Naked" (1 of 2)

"And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?"

Here we have the purpose of the tree of life. He judged man for breaking the command. He sinned and came short of the glory of God. The tree has a body, reference of which in the Covenant under day Three gives us the incontrovertible proof of the existence of the body, to which we have the quote,"but a body hast thou prepared me. We shall come to the passage anon, but this body is not made with hands but eternal. "a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens." The fruit bearing tree whose seed is in itself refers to the eternal word of God. The everlasting covenant refers to the tree of llife. The blessings assured to man blessed of God is a building and it stands in relation to our body formed of the dust of the ground. This earthly house is vile but the same body prepared for his Son made Adam glorious as well. Without appreciating the significance of the Covenant under seven days how shall your profession of faith sound but hollow?

Tree of life was present in the garden of Eden as a prood of the body: Adam and Eve were covered by the glory of God. But his wilful disobedience, his sin made his life in close proximity to it untenable. Thus the covenant in seven days is underwritten by the Law of the Spirit and sealed by the Lamb 'slain from the foundation of the world.' Thus Advent was set beyond recall. As the Mediator between heaven and the earth we have the proof what nakedness meant, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"(Rom.3.23)

'We shall not be found naked' ((2 Cor.5.1-3) What we put on by the Covenant is a body: Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars: 'our house which is from heaven' has many mansions. (Prov.9.1) Heavenly body prepared for the Son suffer no injury and God has no pleasure in animal sacrifices
