Brother I understand how you feel. I was addicted to crack cocaine for a very large portion of my life. I started using drugs in my early teen years and by the way I am 55 now. I continue to use often on but once I quit going to school, I started getting worse. It started with powder cocaine and then it progressively got worse and I began using crack but in 2007 I graduated from a Christian rehab called the home of Grace while I was there I got close to God and I got saved during my time there. One of my children was being born at the time I was there and I didn't leave even though I had it past to go home because I knew I belonged there. when I got out with my new child, I had nowhere to go but wind up staying with my sister for a while. Eventually, I married the child's mother and we had a few good years until my addiction started again because I became curious needs us to say it caused me to get divorced and lose my children of which with her I had two boys . I have a total of 6 children. Two adult boys different mothers to teenage boys same mother and I now have two younger children. But after me and the two boys mother divorced because of my addiction, I continue to wander aimlessly in addiction getting worse by the day. But I never gave up hope. I am on my fourth marriage now hopefully my last God willing I have no more addiction because God heard my cries. I still have different struggles at times but nothing to do with drugs anymore, but I always continue to trust in God. and now I'm starting to learn to thank him for the struggles because they made me who I am today and they also most of all made me close to him. God has a plan for your life just as he did for me. they were plenty of times when I felt hopeless, even times when I contemplated suicide. Keep the faith keep praying never give up on God you're still here because he has a purpose for you. Praise him in the struggles. Praise him in the victory. He will not leave you or forsake you. I know.
