"Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples."

In the life of Abraham we see his understanding of God changing progressively. Moses refer to God as Jehovah ('God is one'-Deut.6.4).

However the Spirit places Elohim as the name of the deity where Abraham is created 'after our image' so as true Vine the intrinsic quality of the branch to the Vine corresponds to the Father-Son relationship. The latter had a glory that was with God as signified by the Word which was with God. It does not go away even where we consider the divine Will and its fulfilment. In this context what is a parable but a similitude, principle of which must rest in setting natural world and the world framed by the word where all things consist of Jesus Christ an in whom is the fulness of God. (Col.1.19) Principle of Similitude can be set on the basis of plentifulness of the tree. Jesus Christ as the tree of life. Principle of Association similarly on the basis of the many branches, none of which exists outside the context of the tree. By the same token God setting Jesus as a plant. The Salvation report of Isaiah "For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground," shall come to pass. It is what we find in Rev.22.1. We shall come to it anon.

"And Abraham planted a grove in Beersheba, and called there on the name of theLord, the everlasting God." This name is different than what God had revealed to him, El Shaddai 17.1 is different than l Elyn, and he has his high Priest Melchizedek who visited Abram and blessed him. It certainly works fo his new name Abraham is a vindication of the everlasting Covenant. "And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God./And he blessed him." (Gen.14.18-20)

We have the third principle which reconciles the many names of God in the Son who as the word became flesh said, "I and my Father are one."(Jn.10.30)
