"God's right hand" is a statement that has confused many about the status of Jesus. It is a metaphoric or Heberic way of saying that Jesus is the personality through whom God saves us. It is like this: They asked God in the Old Testament how he delivered his people. He replied that he delivered them by his strong right hand.
It is like a fighter saying that he defeated his opponent by using his strong right hand. So the strong right hand becomes symbolic of the fighter himself. So saying that Jesus sits at God's right hand, or is God's right hand, is saying that Jesus is God.
The Jews knew this. That's why the High Priest got angry and accused Jesus of blasphemy. He knew Jesus was making his claim that he was God.
