Where in The Word of God, does it speak of people looking for someone to save them, in the last days, when the earth is in chaos, and they are deceived into accepting the antichrist?
I think of Matthew chapter 24, & particularly verses 21 to 27. It appears that the Jews in those tribulation days under Anti-Christ's rule will be desperately seeking a saviour to free them from Anti-Christ's tyranny. And in their desperation, they may just cleave to whoever claims & demonstrates to be the Messiah. But Jesus, in Matthew 24, warns them beforehand.
