Regarding the subject of what day Jesus died.

Jesus said: we must be like children if we are to enter heaven.

    Matthew 18:3

"And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven."

If we must become like a child - when we read the bible (like a child would) we are to believe and have faith that it is the truth.

Jesus says in scripture: that he will be in the earth for three days and three nights.

    Matthew 12:40

"For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth."

Believing this (as a child would) then Jesus remained in the earth for 3 days and 3 nights. So Jesus died on a Wednesday and was not present on Sunday morning, per scripture, this would fulfill Jesus words!

    God Bless

    Brother Dan,

Your thoughts are in line with my thoughts on the crucifixion time-line.

Wednesday around sundown through Saturday around sundown = 3 days.

I saw a similar post last week asking about the time of day that Jesus was baptized. No on could definitively answer.

    Thanks for the post.
