The definition of capital is a city or town that is the official seat of government. David established Jerusalem as the city he would rule all Israel from ( 2 Sam. 5). In Zech. 1:16-17, our Lord says he will choose Jerusalem. This is confirmed in Rev. 21:2-3. It is the new Jerusalem from which our God will rule and reign over all mankind.
