A disciple; you really need to get the context of each chapter in Rom.
Ch. 1-5 deals with salvation in the gospel of grace. Ch. 9-11 Paul is speaking about Israel and ‘their salvation†Rom 9-11 took place during the book of Acts when Israel is being dealt with.
They must believe on who He is, their Messiah. Confessing Christ meant admitting Jesus was not a fraud or imposter as in the past.
