The part that catch my eyes in Romans 1:is that Paul expound on these things in this bible vurse that is happening right now in our present world. Because of disobeadient god leave the unbelievers to ther reprobate mends that they continue to do the things that is not convenient with their bodies. This condition is just going to be worst. God is not for those kind of living.Romans:27.

Waynes comment 6 17"woman not to usurp authority" No one can "usurp" if they are allowed to so by the presbytery. In other words, they have permission to teach or preach as long as they do it by inspiration of the Holy Ghost . Mark 16:15 KJV 15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. There is No gender in God's eyes. "Ye" means ALL. Blessings!

I like how plain Paul is in addressing the Roman sinners. They deserve to die. I agree anyone who does those deplorable sin's deserves to die. Faith in Christ for someone who is that wicked can only lead to the revelation that what Paul said is true.

Romans 1:25 they might change the truth of God for lies however they cannot change the truth of who He is… because as written in Revelation 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Amen

Salvation is for all who believes as it states in verse 16. This is a great reminder that the Lord loves everyone.

John: Thank you John for your testimony. We are the light of the world! Most churches are in a sea of darkness! If others can see Christ in us then there's hope they can get off the Broadway.
  • John on Romans 1 - 9 years ago
Rom. 1:15,16 says "I am ready to declare or preach the gospel unto you." Numberous authorities and Barna polls show that less than 2% of the church share their faith. Shame on Us. If we say that we love the world than we must tell our neighbours that God has appointed a Day when He will judge the World in righteousness. Baking a pie won't do it. It is declaring the Gospel that is the Power of God.

    Verse 20
It is true that Jesus Christ can only be found in scripture but you can see the fingerprint of God everywhere in creation. If we reject God's existence, it may not be because of lack of evidence but it is because we have too much of it and we don't want to acknowledge it. Thank you Lord for your long suffering. Forgive us for provoking you all the time. You are a great God Jehovah!

Romans (the Book as a whole) is a treatise in itself. I read the ROMANS thinking it was for Roman Catholics, that some bishop had written for "us" it had a powerful effect in me. I came to Christ. Romans 1 tells me of the "imputed righteousness" which comes as a result of faith.
verse 1:4 that Jesus resurected and is alive. and the gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation for all.

I like the book of Romans, we had this chapter in Sunday School the other Sunday ago, I notice the writer left out the 26 -29 verses. Its talking about how man has left his natural affection for a woman and has turn to man, men with men and women with women. the bible is right I don't care how many laws man make up and changed. We as Christian need to stand up for whats right.

Roman l speaks of God's revelation of " The Just shall live by faith." 17 He is speaking against all ungodliness and unrighteousness. 18 Man depravity to serve the creature and not the Creator, becoming darken or without understanding.21 Their hearts turned against God to dishonor their own bodies.24 They did not want to retain God in their knowledge and were turned over to a reprobate mind.28

THE KEY TO IT ALL ....
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Some may not like my view, but I definitely believe the message in vs 24 thru 32 is very clear - being gay or lesbian goes against God's word. Sincere repentence and being born again is the answer.

  • Jackson Rufus on Romans 1 - 10 years ago
The book of Roman Chapter 1 is a holistic inspiration of God Almighty. It proves the truthfulness and existent of Our God and father in all things he created. For out of nothing he brought out what that exist to be. For there is Almighty God existent in all things he created, living and non living things. Even non living things such as rock are empirically alive un to God and not abstract.
  • Deanne on Romans 1 - 10 years ago
There is no cultural indication, no doctrinal indication, no historical indication, no linguistic indication, no literary indication, no religious indication, that Paul intended to blast lesbians and gays in Romans 1:26-27.

to joyce kaseys comment about a woman preacher and scripture. NO woman is qualified to preach. 1 corinthians 14 34 35. Also 1 timothy 2 11 12. let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But i suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

Philippians 2:6,7 tells us that Jesus was made in the likeness of men, he became human and had all the charsteristics of a human being. In human form Jesus Christ felt hungry, became tired, was tempted, but never once sinned. As a human being Jesus Christ needed to be spiritually strenghtened and that is one of the reason why He prayed to His Father.

We please Godby our faith and through faith alone, not by faith through works.

Verses 11, 12 talk about the encouraging and positive results of meeting together with fellow believers. We not only receive encouragement but we want to make sure to give it to others to help them be firm in the faith.

Faith is pleasing to God : Faith is the righteousness of God : Jesus is our righteousness and Jesus walked in Faith toward God : It is from Faith to Faith : This is a continual walk with God : You cannot have faith without being obedient to what you hear : Doing : From Faith to Faith . If you be willing and obedient , you shall eat the good of the land .

In Romans 1 Paul humble himself explaining his call as an apostle in a servant manner. He do not boast about being a called apostle by God but a servant called of God. He greet them by telling of their faithful and how the whole world knew of it. We learn much just reading and meditating on Chapter 1. We learn of our indebtedness to all people, and that all have a need of Salvation. God be praised
