I believe the significance of this chapter is to show us the holiness and worthiness of God. Not only do the 24 elders fall down and worship Him, but so do the beasts.

I believe this represents the raptured church The term elder in the bible is always in reference to the church Also it mentions crowns since angels don t wear crowns I believe this is the judgment seat of Christ taking place Some teach a post trib rapture the only problem is that in rev 19 we see the saints coming back with Christ a post trib teaches that we are raptured at his second coming Also a post trib teaching believes in Matthew the one taken and the one left is the rapture this is incorrect that verse is talking about one taken in to judgment and one left to go in to the 1000 year kingdom Also the translation for taken is destruction

my comment guided by the Holy spirit is that Man was created to worship GOD( I AM WHO I AM) not any other gods except him, who was and is and is to come. The devil just deceive people to not worship this true GOD, because he doesn't want to die in hell alone. Brothers and sister as the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 15:33 that do not be mocked for bad company corrupt good morals, do not be deceived. This verse shows one of the reasons why Jehovah God should be worshipped because of all that he has done for Earth and mankind. It was only because he wanted to create the Earth and the people on it that we even exist. We should be grateful for this fact and give God the worship and honor that He deserves.

Four winds represent the forces of evil, global event that will happen and will be carried out by Satan when God permits.verse 2 Another Angel is another group of servant that will rise in Jesus and Jesus will rise in them.The seal of the living God is the Holy Spirit, for the Spirit is the mark of Gods ownership. They are the same group of servants previouly signified by the 24 Elders in Revelation 4:4. The angel ascending from the east being heard to cry with a loud voice to the four angels marks these two groups of servants the priest and the prophets to work together in the time of the Revelation prophecy. verse 3.The priest signified by the angels ascending from the east will instruct the prophet to hold in check the armies of this world through the words of their prophecy until the priest have sealed the servants of our God with the Holy Spirit through the preaching of the Gospel those who believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ will be sealed.Eph1:13,2Corin1:21,22. The servants of God will be sealed in their foreheads that is in their hearts.The trees,earth ,sea represent the inhabitant of this earth, only the believers will be sealed.This message is for those who will believe in the Gospel in the Revelation time.But sealing of the believers is going on now Ephesians1:13. When reading the gospels, one must remember to rightly divide the bible into periods of time, and knowing the group of people the book, chapter and verse(s) are directed to. This chapter as is Matthew 24, and Luke 21 are mostly prophetic for the Jews in the future, after rapture of church age Christians only. Jesus is talking about what the spiritual and earthly conditions will be like just before the 2nd advent. Some of these prophecies have already began and will increase as we get closer to the 2nd advent. The key verse to understand is verse 14, which directly speaking of the anti-Christ that will break the peace covenant ( Daniel 9:27) with the nation of Israel that was signed about 31/2 years earlier. Then the anti-Christ which came in bringing peace ( Daniel 11:24) will begin to slay the Jews by the millions (about 14 millions) more than twice as many as Hitler did. And they are given here a warning to start fleeing Israel to Selah Petra (present day Jordan) south of the dead sea to escape the slaughter that is going on and where God will divinely provide for them until Christ’s return. The great tribulation time will begin in verse 14, which is what you can read about in Revelation 4:1 (rapture of the Christians) to Revelation 19:11-16 (the 2nd advent).

The Rapture doesn't happen at the 7th trumpet judgment. Paul reviewed to us about us going up in the rapture at the last trump was around 66AD. John wrote the book of Revelations in around 95AD. Paul had no knowledge of the trumpet judgments that are coming upon the earth. Do you really think that there won't ever be anymore trumpet blast in Heaven after the rapture? I think not. There is such a misconception about the rapture, if it happens in the middle or in the end of the tribulation, there won't be very many Christians left here on the earth. Since the antichrist would overcome the saints. Only the 144,000 are sealed on their foreheads, not the tribulation saints. Christ will come for his beloved way before the tribulation starts, his promise to us is that we would not see the hour of testing coming upon this earth, that we would not see his wrath. The 1st seal is his wrath, because when the antichrist comes (the world has never seen anyone like this man before), he will be the greatest deceiver the world has seen. As we can see it's not long before he appears on scene.
