Discuss Psalms 27 Page 7

Verse 4: "One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple." This verse speak directly to my heart's with my desire and request unto the Lord.

Verse 14
Thank you king David, I will wait patiently on the Lord until He brings about my complete change. I give Him my frailty and He will me strength. Thank you Jesus!

What is interesting that in Russian Orthodox Synod Psalms Psalm 26 accords to Psalm 27 (KJV)

I don't know what tomorrow holds, but I am So glad to know my Father in heaven holds my Life in his hands. Love

Love this chapter. I can sing some of these verses.

"I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living." The"land of the living", in a world of people dead in trespasses and sins. Sounds to me like witnessing the grace and mercy of God in the lives of other believers,becomes our expectation that the same God we see in the lives of others, is with us also, and our turn for his attention is always near.

This is my favorite psalms..... I find it so inspiring....

Heven is real and hell is also real

Verse 14: We should wait on Jehovah God to correct matters and have firm trust and confidence in Him. Trusting in God will give us courage.

In the beginning God - He alone - His rule is everlasting, His will be done - He knows the heart of man - He created our beginnings and end ....He will not leave or forsake - He knows our most deepest inner thoughts - He is Lord over our lives once we allow him to reign - Wait on the Lord

Barbara; how blessed you are to have had an Aunt who loved the Lord Jesus, and recited Bible to you as a child! You will see her again, and you will have a happy, happy reunion; all in new glorified bodies, and forever with the Lord. Let His Word dwell in you richly, and hold Him close in everything you do; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Don't be afraid for the times; Jesus is coming!

This is a psalm of comfort and encouragement. Especially verse 13 where it says i would have fainted,or been discouraged or given up,if had not believed that i will see the goodness of the lord in the land of the living.Glory to God.

Thank you Jesus for your words. The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall i fear. The Lord is the strength of my life whom shall I be afraid of. The Lord just gave me this psalm to encourage me. I am not working and seeking a job. I been have been on many interviews, but still with a job. I have sick for the past 2years. God is God he will give me his heart's desire.

I am really touched by ALL of David's Psalms! But this one, 27, is the one MOST APPLICABLE to my life from day one. I have enemies, but God is my shield; I have family that has forsaken me, but God has clearly took me up; I am EXCITED about the day that will cometh that I can behold the beauty of the Lord; Finally, the Lord is my light and my salvation and I am patiently WAITING on him; Be Blessed

When I am encompass by fear, the Lord is my protector. He will shield and protect me always. I can rest in peace in his name. To God be the glory!
