Johnny, In Matt. 13:55-56 it says that he is the carpenter's son, that his mother is called Mary and then lists the names his brothers (half through Joseph and Mary) which are James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas, and then it says that he has sisters (plural) in verse 56. So Jesus had at least two sisters by Mary and Joseph and maybe more. It states basically the same thing in Mark 6:3. Side note; these are his half brothers and sisters not cousins. The Bible will say cousins when it means cousins like in Luke 1:36.

The Old Testament the promised of a Messiah, also known as Deliverer, Saviour, Savior. Many of the books were written about & pointing to Redemption, reconciliation to GOD. When we read & study we can even find hidden similarities in Christ Jesus & Old Testament Heros.

The New Testament was the written testimonials & witness of Jesus CHRIST revealed as that Messiah, Deliverer, SAVIOR etc.

Please read: John 18, John 19, then Isaiah 53, Psalms 22, Psalms 41:9-13, just a few examples.

Question: "Is it still God's will to heal all who ask to be healed as in times past?"

ANSWER

A man with leprosy came to Jesus and begged Him, If you are willing, you can make me clean. Jesus was filled with compassion. He reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing, he said. "Be clean!" ( Mark 1:40-41).

He knew that Jesus could heal him, but he asked the same question that most of us ask today, "Will He heal me?"

The greatest hindrance for many seeking healing is the uncertainty, in their mind, if it is God's will for them to be healed. While most know that God heals a few, they dont have a clear understanding of what the Word says, so they doubt, and doubt Destroys their faith. It is very difficult to have faith when the will of God is unknown. The Bible clearly teaches that healing is provided for all, but it also teaches that faith is required. Not faith that God can, but faith that God WILL heal.

PSALM 103:3, Psalm 86:5

Did it say to a few? No, it says to ALL. That he by the grace of God should taste death for every man ( Heb 2:9). Jesus tasted death not just for some, but for everyone who is willing to receive both salvation and healing.

God has planned good for us and He does not change His mind. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever (Heb13:8). We can pray for ANYONES healing because we know healing is God's will. His Word clearly defined His will for our healing & what we need to do to receive.

Psalm 107:20

On earth, Jesus was God in a body but without His Godly power. He operated just as man (us) should operate, through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Unbelief is so strong that even Jesus was limited by the great unbelief He encountered in His hometown. Mark 6:5

It doesn't say that He would not, it says He could not, because their great unbelief, limited Him.

If you don't have access to elders (because there is a lot of leaven out there), you can still "call for the elders of the church" in your prayers to the Lord, and He can bring them to you. Yes I believe in some ways our faith may be considered more complicated because they being with Jesus " physically " John 3:12, John 14:11, yet scripture says : 2 Chronicles 20:20, we have so many accumulated testimonies, prophecy fulfilled, the written WORD of GOD from many generations past in many ways we have all that to help build upon our faith. Then we have personal experiences & witness of miraculous events in our present days & years. I believe it's powerful to see the biblical text, New & Old Tstm & imagine the future with the stacked testimonies & understanding time accumulates more information. When the days of tribulation come the stacked accounts with all scripture will be that much bigger. GOD is amazing. I realized the other day the wealth of faith building information at our reach. I told a young man, "Yes, these days are difficult but we have so much to draw from". & GOD in HIS infinite wisdom gives each generation what they need. Romans 10:17, John 20:29,
