From my reading of the word, with the Holy Spirit's help, there seems to me to be nothing that says we will be taken out of here before Christ's return. The question of two being together and one taken away is answered by Christ with his saying that the one taken is taken to where the eagles gather and where the eagles are, there the slain are. Also Job 39:40 talks about that place of the eagles being where the slain are. Ephesians 1:20 says when we are saved, immediately we are seated in
Christ in the Heavens (the New Heavens ) where we are blessed with all spiritual blessings in high places. Although we don't feel it right now, we're already there. We are Christ's bride. Rev 21:2. We ARE the New Jerusalem so when Christ returns, there we are with him. Rev 21:10. He comes here to earth WITH the New Jerusalem, gathers up to us those who are remaining here on the earth and CONTINUES to come down to the earth where we will rule with him here on the earth and kings and judges for 1000 years. Nowhere does it say he comes down and then returns back up, but rather proceeds to come down here TO RULE for 1000 years. This is the truth as I have read it from the Word of God, Jesus Christ. He IS the Word of God, the Holy Scriptures, and he is alive, the living Word.
Jesus tells us plainly in Matthew 13:24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed (weeds) tares among the wheat, and went his way.
26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together FIRST first the TARES (WEEDS) tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together FIRST first the TARES (WEEDS) tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
(first the tares WEEDS get gathered, then the wheat last) could it be any more plain than this?) Did Jesus mess up the timing of end time events? (first the tares WEEDS get gathered, wheat last)
Matthew 13:36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
I'm sorry I didn't answer that question. Jesus' mission at that point was to preach the gospel to Israel, demonstrating his power through mighty works. The word "meet" is Old English meaning appropriate or suitable. So he is saying that granting her request would be taking his blessing, reserved at that time for the Jews (the children), his current mission field, and giving it away to outsiders (the dogs).
If the feet of the Messiah do not touch the earth at His return, how do you explain Zechariah 14:4?
"And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south."
Also, if the body of Christ is taken out before the Tribulation, then who are those that endure until the end? ( Mark 13:27, 1 Corinthians 15:52)
He that endureth to the END shall be saved ( Matthew 10:22)
So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, ( Mark 13:49)
Are we not told that it "is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully" ( 1 Peter 2:19).
Jesus said it is not meet, that is, it is not right to take the children's bread and cast it to the dogs. Now what if your pastor called you a dog? You know, "Get out of my way you dog!"
But here is what Jesus was referring to:
You see, the Jews considered Gentiles to be dogs. To the Jews, Gentiles were considered "religious dogs." So Jesus is saying it is not right to take the children's food and give it to the dogs.
But look at the piety of this woman in Verse 27: Remember that this Gentile woman was coming to Jesus to help her daughter.
And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.
This is the piety of this woman, her humbleness, her submission. It is not the fact that she wouldn't take no for an answer. She needed help!
But the Lord was putting her in a situation so that it would show her motives. You know, how much do you want help for your daughter?
Actually Jesus was calling her a puppy (kynarion) under the table, not so much to demean her, but to develop an object lesson. The Jews, by reason of the covenant and their works of the law, considered themselves to be "in" with God and all others to be outsiders. Jesus upended this construct by demonstrating that the exercise of genuine faith in Jesus Christ is what actually pleases God.
There is more peace in the home if the husband follows Christ; the wife should be able follow her husband's leadership if he does.
1 Peter 3:7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
1 Timothy 3:11
Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.
Ephesians 5:25
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it
Deuteronomy 17:17
Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not away:
Genesis 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Colossians Chapter 3
18 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.
19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
James 4:7
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
1 Peter 3:1
Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be WON by the conversation of the wives;

What is the difference between the King James Bible (1611) and the Geneva Bible (1560) in terms of the first chapter:Genesis? And why the difference can be important?
Jason, this chapter in Ecclesiastes shows us that those in power & authority over us, are not always honourable & worthy to be in that position. They may have got there through various means, whether by blood-line, wealth, deception, creating fear, etc. However they are placed there, that position doesn't necessarily make them suitable or give them the needed wisdom to govern. We can sometimes see this in the workplace: how often we notice that a person is really not suitable for the job given him, or the manager of a team, shows no ability towards that position but was elevated to it because of some great need or even because of favouritism.
So here in Eccl 10, we see the writer (likely, Solomon) giving his observations, as a wise man. In verse 7, he is saying that some leaders should not be so because of incompetence. That is why there are some lowly folk who show more wisdom than the leaders whom they serve (servants now ride the horses which the famous 'wise' leaders should have been seen on), and the leaders are now humbled & "walk as the lowly servants walk". Wisdom in life, i.e. not just knowing about the world but to know live carefully & honourably before God & king, is the key in this chapter. And this thought fills much of the book of Proverbs also.
In Matthew 15 verse 26, I don't know the right words to explain what "It is not meet to take the children's bread, and cast it to the dogs
A muslim was arguing with me at first that Jesus had called the woman a dog and I proved he didn't then he wanted me to explain what the above passage means, I am new in Christ so would like to ask someone with a little more knowledge to explain it to me so I can do Jesus justice.
Mexxy, the "trump" that you're speaking of is not a trumpet, it's a warning of some kind and whether we hear or not, everyone that believes in Jesus Christ and repents for their sins won't be left of the earth during the tribulation. Also, in 2 Thessalonians 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. - That is in reference to when the Holy Spirit is no longer on the earth and after that happens the anti-Christ will be revealed which is stated in 2 Thessalonians 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
Your loving care is appreciated brother Mishael, as it has been to so many others who have sought your listening ear & words of comfort. You too have come through much pain & fiery trials but it has only served to increase your love & dependence on the Lord even more. Remember what the Lord said of the promiscuous woman in Luke 7: "Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little." (v 47). We can all here rejoice that God's salvation covered even the worst of our sins, leaving out nothing. Thank you.
Greetings Linda, you ask "where does it say in the bible that white people have to kiss and bow before all black/black Isrealites feet and ask for forgiveness for being white."
Easy that is in the gospel of Judas 66:6 (sarcasm)
Bible book Song of Solomon 5:10 - My beloved is WHITE white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand.
Bible book Lamentations 4:7 - Her Nazarites were purer than snow, they were WHITER whiter than milk, they were more ruddy in body than rubies, their polishing was of sapphire: (Ruddy means reddish as in blush)
Revelation 1:14 - His (Jesus) HEAD head and his hairs were WHITE white like wool, as WHITE white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; 15 And his feet like unto fine brass,
(Brass is made of copper which is REDDISH GOLDEN BROWN) as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. The world hates white Christians especially it seems today.

Very true, Kat. For those of us who have come out of the 'world', we truly appreciate the great measure of Grace afforded us to be drawn to Jesus & given faith to believe in the finished work of the Cross. I think of Luke 7:37,38, which tells about a woman overtaken in much sin, who went to meet Jesus to wash His Feet with her tears (of contrition & repentance) & then to anoint them with oil. Jesus recognized this act of repentance & devotion, as He said (v 47) & I paraphrase: "the one who is forgiven much, loves much".
And I know, that so many of us fall into this category as we have been saved from much sin & shame. And yes, if only we could turn the clock back, to have had the extra time to know & love the Lord more, instead of wasting it on sinful & vain pursuits. I came out of a very deep sinful lifestyle in the Air Force, but the Lord's Spirit met me one evening in my quarters & brought me to my knees as I agonized over my sin & a horrible eternity. The work of Grace was instantaneous, so much so, that my tears of repentance did not have time to dry as the joy of salvation became evident on my face. I would've looked a real sight! But such is the Work of God & we who read your testimony also rejoice with you in your salvation & new freedom to live by His Power & Love.
Acts 6:39 and cross-reference to Luke 7:51. Please re-read the verse number, and re-read the chapter number again, especially where multiple chapters are on the same page. These two references do not exist in the Authorized 1611 edition of the King James Bible.

verse 1-10 Jesus power to heal the sick reaches the ears of the gentiles /a centurian, and by Faith this gentile-centurian sought Jesus to heal his sick servant; this faith of this person amazed Jesus because Jesus had not found such 'great faith' in Israel (the servant was healed). 2019, the same Jesus is waiting waiting to be sought by us to both heal
