So does this mean that killing animals is not suggested by Jesus? If it is so then why we are killing cows and other pets. Is it because its not written clearly that don't kill cows and other pets? We really need to be sensitive towards other animals too and try to increase our mode of goodness from our mode of passion or ignorance.
Isaiah is telling us. God is the giver of children and he will never close the womb of Zion.it also explain the expectation of the righteous will come to pass. Everything u are carrying in the womb as a believer, shall deliever it in Jesus' Name.
Dear Rich in chapter66
:17 of Isaiah it does not say that you cannot drink coffee,tea,etc. strong drink is reffering to liquior, alcohol,moon shine, or things dammaging to the body for the body is the temple of God,and pork is not really good for you it clogs the arterys up,causeing all kinds of medical problems,If you ask for forgiveness of these things which trouble the Lord forgives.The reason it is stated as abomidable is because Jesus casted the demons into the swines,and it list in the bible the things we can eat and the things we should not,because our bodies are the temple of God we are to take care of the temple of God, not to cause any damage to it.And to follow the Commandments of God in our own strengh is impossible,But if you ask God to give you his strenghth to do this it is possible, as God is the same yesturday,today,&forever.He is the same God today as he was in the days of jesus, in the days when He gave his descioles the strenghth to walk in them back then,so just trust in God, talk to him daily,read your Bible,Pray,and repent of all sins daily, cause just because we might think we do not sin we do,no one is good no not no one, for all have come short of the Glory of God.
After all is fullfiled,heaven and earth shall p*** away and God shall re-create them. It shall come to p*** that in that new heaven and earth,from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all human beings worship the Lord of Hosts. The sabbath of God is man's rest!
These promises are beautiful! I love the Scriptures -Gods "Word", they are so clear and plain, If we would just study them for ourselves, seeking Scripture Truth instead of listening to what 'man' teaches, The truths would be made clear and confusion subside, and following Christ would be a pleasure! . . , He is "the Word made flesh!" To pervert the scriptures and to change their meaning, is to rip apart and misrepresent Christ Himself. "Thank you Father for blessing me as I choose to come away from the world and mans traditions and honor your Word, and for meeting with me in an extra special way, as You promised, during the appointed time you set up from the beginning of time for us every 7th day, and which You tell us we will do together throughout all eternity"... Isaiah 66:22-23
Christ says, "You will know them by their fruits." "If they speak not according to God's law, then there is no light in them." The true church of God is one that is going to read, line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little there a little, till the true messages of God are revealed, to the honest gospel searcher. One MUST ask for guidance from the HOLY SPIRIT when reading scripture. Spiritual things are Spiritually discerned. The Seventh-day Adventists has revealed the scriptures clearer to me, and more precise, with history backing it up, more than any other denomination I've known. They are among the few, that keep the Biblical Sabbath, the 7th day, as it says in Exodus 20:8; God judges us all for the light that we have, but it's up to us to search, with all our hearts, to learn Biblical truths. Our desirous, loving, and willing relationship with Christ is very important. He wants our hearts, not just our Biblical intelligence of His Word. God Bless!
@Rich,
All you need is summarized in one verse, 2 Timothy 2:15:
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
You have to apply of your best to learn the word of God, which is also the will of God, knowing God will never ask you something that you cannot do. Romans 10:
6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
So you need to attend a church and do what you are taught. There are some churches which teach ungodly ways of living. But your heart will never believe lies, unless you deny reason by yourself.
May God lead you in the light of Christ Jesus our lord and savior.
I am confused: I am told I will be consumed in hell for eating swine's flesh, drinking strong drink, hot drinks (caffeine; coffee, tea, etc..), smoking, or anything that does not reflect what Christ's example was on this earth. I must follow GOD'S commandments word for word with no deviation. Because no man has authority to change his law or its intent therefore why am I being pulled in every direction form Christian denominations, attempting to explain/justify why they are able to take the word out of context to appease themselves before the GOD. They love and the GOD that will one day accept or condemn their actions. What am I to believe or disbelieve, how is that God will reveal himself, his purpose, and plan he has in store for me; who really does teach only the truth? What is the true church in the end times? Please respond but RESPOND WITH TRUTH NOT CONDEMNING OTHER DENOMINATIONS BUT AS CHRIST...
@Reggie,
May I suggest, letting the Bible explain Hebrews 4: 9, 10.
“9 There remains therefore a rest to the people of God”. The word “rest” in original Greek is “Sabbatismo” from which we get the word ”Sabbath” or the seventh day. This matches perfectly with what verse 10 says: “For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.” Here is that account: Genesis 2 “1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished and all the host of them. 2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.” Though the Jews kept the seventh day Sabbath, it is not a Jewish sacred day only; it belongs to all of us. It is not a punishment but a privilege. And keeping the Sabbath Day holy is not an option either: It is the fourth of the Ten Commandments ( Exodus 20). Jesus, our Creator gave us the Sabbath at the end of the Creation Week. He kept it holy while on earth, and he bids us to teach all nations “whatsoever I have commanded you” Matthew 28:19, 20. Here is a promise to those who keep it: “If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honorable; and shalt honor him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words; Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD… for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it”. Isaiah 58: 13, 14. This Sabbath Day will also be celebrated in God’s New Kingdom: “And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.” Isaiah 66:23. Now, how we celebrate the Sabbath is another issue.

The GOD of ISRAEL commanded HIS PEOPLE to keep the dietary laws that are written in the bible. These commandments werent given for nothing. so with that said its true you have to keep God's laws, commandments and statutes especially if you want to make it to the kingdom of GOD. Every law of God is still in effect and Matthew 5:17-19 makes that clear. dont be decieved nor decieve yourself, if you DON'T have understanding on the word of God DON'T speak on it. NOW, in 1Tim 4:4 it reads ''For every creature of God is good'' now thats true right? every creature of God is good, for whatever purpose God created it for. God did NOT create every single animal to be eaten and if you feel thats not true then dont bother spending money on meats just go outside and find a random dog, cat, rat or pigeon and take it home and cook it up! see the problem is people are wicked and want to cut corners when it comes to God and thats just going to get you a 1st class ticket to hell. God set a diffence between CLEAN and UNCLEAN beasts, and the DIFFERENCE IS clean is meant to be recived and unclean is NOT meant to be eaten( Leviticus 11:46&47) but is good for another purpose EXAMPLE PIG/SWINE that animal is a farm tool, pigs eat anything so its job is to eat all the trash off the farm including POOP now thats a good purpose imagine having a farm without a pig... now, is the feasting of this animal really tempting to you?? NASTY! and for Those that think its still ok to eat the PIG or any ABOMINATION... judgement is written just for you. Take a look at Isaiah 66:16-17. dont be decieved u WILL go to hell for this. simple as that.
