    Since John 17:3, Philippians 3:8-10, Matthew 7:21-23, verse 9 covered by a thick cloud, Jeremiah 29:13 that the people might hear when I speak with you, and believe you forever. John 6:17-8; 8:12. Jesus marveled in Matthew 8:10. Is there a greater marvel elsewhere? Is the only disease (BELEVING A LIE) caused by either Deception, or Pride. 1 Corinthians 4:7 there is only One God Who cannot lie, Hebrews 13:8. Who says there are no absolutes? The statement is an absolute, humble unselfish FATHER already knows everything, and is the answer, yet humanity is so wrapped up in their shallow little plans they miss the mark. His Glory Revelation 4:11, Galatians 2:20-21, Genesis 15:1, Philippians 3:12 Came here to understand this veiled verse 19:13 but got sidetracked. Sound unfamiliar 2 Corinthians 3:18, Ephesians 4:13.

    @ Tom Allen,
    On verse 7:
    1. Please read verse 5 and you will see that only an individual person can be born again, because Jesus Christ died on the cross for those who have souls, only a person can be born of water (Women's wound) and born of the spirit ( Ephesians 2:1);
    2. A nation can have revivals if enough souls ( 1 Thessalonians 5:23; Hebrews 13:17) get saved;
    3. Ye is in reference to all men, not a nation ( 2 Peter 3:9).

    I like what was said, Jesus is up close and personal, yes Jesus is in heaven at the right hand of father God [but] as it was said in the comments Jesus is close to us. Right in our hearts that is up close and always with us. God bless all.

    Luke 8:
    1. I praise and thank God for all who have experienced the miracle of healing from the great physician;
    2. I believe the scriptures support miracle healing, but no longer support healers who claim they have the gift ( 1 Corinthians 1:22; 1 Corinthians 12:7-10);
    3. The parable of the sower demonstrates that every person ever born of a woman falls into one of these 4 categories, the first two categories are unsaved people and the last two categories are saved people;
    4. The question is which one do you fall into?
    5. God is of the same character yesterday, today, and tomorrow, but do not inject his methods into this verse ( Hebrews 13:8). His methods on how he does things do change, this is why people err ( 1 Corinthians 12:1-11) on the distribution of spiritual gifts, different types of salvation in different ages and get caught up in signs and wonders in the church age under grace.

    Where exactly in this chapter does God contradict his ordering of man and the animals and declare that unclean animals are clean to eat? I don't see it here, nor do I find it in the Greek. If he is God and doesn't change, how can he go back on his original command? ( Hebrews 13:8). And what did Jesus do? He never ate anything unclean and never broke a single commandment set forth by God in the Old Testament. Are we not to be like Jesus? If he had, he would have been sinning and would have been unacceptable as a sacrifice for our sins. Sounds like you're making this up or just regurgitating what you've been taught, perhaps colored by a very anti-Semitic church history. Search it out for yourself!! "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." ( 2 Timothy 2:15).

    Matthew 18:19 Again I say unto you, That IF TWO of you SHALL agree on earth as touching ANY thing that they SHALL ask, IT SHALL BE DONE for them of my Father which is in heaven.
    I need someone to agree with me for a healing of my back, pelvis, and sciatic nerve. I believe God is the same yesterday, today and forever. Hebrews 13:8 Therefore, he is still ALL powerful and anything is possible with God. He has touched and healed many throughout the Bible, including the woman with the issue of blood, so it is but a little thing for him to touch and heal me. Am I failing to touch the helm of his garment? Do I know how? Sometimes it is hard for me to accept, “He Did It All For ME” I am asking that you will in faith agree with me touching this one thing (Physical & Spiritual Healing). Thanks, and God Bless You!!!

    Comment on Hebrews verse 4, We would like to say, there is no fornication or adultery in the true Church of God. The true church is a spiritual body, the anointed candle stick of God to carry the truth to a lost & dying world. There are many types of people in the congregation that profess that they know God, but in works they deny Him & unto every good work reprobate. These are of the ungodly spoken of in 1 Peter. The only way into the true church is not by joining, but by being borned into it by spiritual birth. True righteousness has no ungodliness or sin in it because it has been cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ. Therefore, we take about face turn from unrighteousness or sin unto righteous living, which is of God. The true church in Acts 20:28 is a spiritual body & the only way to get into this body is to be borned of the spirit into it. The church that you call church is a building where you assemble yourselves together to hear the Word of God. This is where many people today in religion join and are still lost without God. This is why their works are not of God and according to truth. This is why the call in Revelation is come out of her my people & not be apart of her abominations & sins. May God help you to see the truth & understand that there is no sin in the True Church of God or the spiritual body that's of God, they are all blood washed saints. The blood Cleanses from all unrighteousness...God Bless and help you all to see the Truth...

  • Delphine Hypolite on Hebrews 13:4 - 14 years ago
    This is what is required in our churches today but even the men of God and elders are scared to preach it because they do not trust in themselves. It is the grace of god, if God says it, He will give the grace to live it. There is so much fornication and adultery in the church these days. This is all because those that should speak and teach it are not confident they won't fall foul of it. God help us. We know it is not by power nor might but we are to obey God and serve Him in spirit and in truth as He has asked of us. God bless you all.

    We (of the Covenant of Grace,of the New Wine, of the Resurrection of Christ, of the Messiah who has come in the flesh) we have JESUS CHRIST, our High Priest and ALTAR who has given his body as a living sacrifice who has called us from the LAW TO GRACE. To those who know Him and are aware that He has already fulfilled the plan of redemption we can eat at this altar. But those who chose to still server in the tabernacle, the tent of the wilderness, they do not yet know Him for what he is but are still serving by the law and have refused THE RIGHTEOUSNESS THAT COMES BY FAITH THAT HE IS ALREADY WITH US.

    Verse 4 simply means that God honors marriage period. Whether you are saved or unsaved. the institution of marriage between a man and women is honorable in God's sight. God also frowns on those things which go against that vow/commitment which is an adulterer or whoremonger
  • Leticia Neal on Hebrews 13:5 - 15 years ago
    In my opinoin Hebrews 13:5 gives us confidence that GOd will provide our needs and never leave us nor forsake us. this also builds our trust in him.
  • Jeff on Hebrews 13 - 15 years ago
    @Luckygranny's
    From what I understand. It means you should get married as it will prevent pre martial sex. Sex before marriage is bad so god will judge. Hence Whoremongers and adulterers, which is generally the public.
  • Ben weaver on Hebrews 13:4 - 15 years ago
    V.4. Marriage, I think, means a life- long committment, not to be broken. Genesis 24:67 says Isaac brought her into his mother's tent and took her and she became his wife. This was before civil registration was required for a legal marriage. The ceremony was already done with God's direction by the servant who went to bring Rebecca to Isaac. An extended pursuit for the right spouse, with God's guidance, and, I believe, the legal and social procedures of a wedding is propper for our day. Otherwise the enemy may use our emotions to set us up for much misery to follow.
  • Ben weaver on Hebrews 13 - 15 years ago
    V.4 response to luckygranny. In this series of self contained verses, V.4 seems to speak on right and wrong sexual activities. To me, it says; God created sexuality and is honored and pleased with all natural enjoyment associated with it. Marriage is the first word here, and along with many other Bible directives, is God's proper natural setting for sexual intimacy. Any suggestive sexual thoughts and physical activities, outside of marriage are defiling this beautiful provision of God and the participants. Because of people violating this order, our world promotes untold misery. (I believe "bed" is a symbol used to indicate sexual intimacy). God will judge may involve a giving over to the devil (the cause of deception) for his further torments. Restoration to the beautiful life with God is always available as we return through Jesus, our mediator.

  • Sjf on Hebrews 13:6 - 15 years ago
    This shows the Lord's heart toward christians as we confess the Lord is my helper knowing man cannot tell the Lord what to do. Jesus is in control as He has always been. Man cannot change who God is as He is the same yesterday, today and forever. God works out the situations in our lives for the good not evil. So trust in God knowing He will never forsake you or leave you. You can stand on the promises of God.
  • Paul on Leviticus 11 - 15 years ago
    Let us not forget that Chapter 11 of Leviticus as well as Deuteronomy 14 are the food laws that we are to keep forever and they are not just ceremonial laws as Doug suggests. Yahweh is the same today and forever, He changes not; see Malachi 3:6, nor does Yahshua change either, see Hebrews 13:8 and 9. Sin is the transgression of the law period; see I John 3:4. Take note of I Timothy 4:3 "to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. His Word is the Truth, so let's obey Him and not eat any abominable thing such as pork, etc. See Deuteronomy 14:3; Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing. And finally see John 14:15; If you love me keep my commandments. Enough said!

    Another Scripture reference is Hebrews 13:2. Ministering angels are everywhere. Female ministering angels have to were some kind of head covering commanded in 1 Corinthians 11:10. Some signs are head bands or whatever the individual is instructed to wear. She could be under her husband who also is a ministering angel or not, however she needs to wear something to differentiate herself from others due to her power or authority given to her by God.
  • Donna on 1 John 4 - 15 years ago
    Dear Rosie, Regarding your question, 'How do I become perfect in love so that fear will no longer be part of my daily life?'

    The more you read God's Word (WORDS,) the more FAITH increases in you, along with all of the other fruits of the Spirit.

    Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

    John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickens; the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

    So, just read, read, read. It is the same as to EAT spiritual meat, and drink spiritual drink. It's not about just merely memorizing the scriputures, no more than is eatting for physical nourishment about memorizing how physical food tastes.

    And, daily repent of; confess, your sins unto the Lord, or if you can't think of any, ask Him to forgive you for just in case. As, to repent is a priviledge for those that have received Christ. No one CAN repent in the way of true repentance without FIRST receiving Christ. That is WHY there's no need to repent IN ORDER to answer His call, and receive Him:

    Romans 11:29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

    Since you HAVE received Christ, you WILL repent, because you believe and trust in God, and therefore you are BLESSED, your are GODLY, and RIGHTEOUS, and UPRIGHT, and the GOODNESS of God SURROUNDS YOU:

    Psalms 32:2 Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
    (By the time the Lord is through CLEANSING us with His blood, and forgiving us, there is NO guile or any unrighteousness whatsoever! And all it takes is a moment each day, or sometimes maybe several moments.)

    Psalms 32:5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I WILL confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

    6 For this shall EVERY ONE that is GODLY pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.

    10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.

    11 Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

    ONLY the GODLY will humble themselves, and bring forth the FRUIT of the mouth MEET FOR; WORTHY OF, repentance, due to true sorrow of heart; being sorry for any sin, even any we didn't mean, nor intend.

    Proverbs 12:14 A man shall be satisfied with good by the FRUIT of his mouth: and the recompence of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him.

    Luke 3:8 Bring forth therefore FRUITS worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

    And it is GOD Himself that gave you the GIFT of His Spirit that makes you WILLING to repent:

    Romans 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for TO WILL is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

    Philippians 2:13 For it is GOD which worketh in you both TO WILL and to do of his good pleasure.

    Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that HE which hath begun a good work in you WILL PERFORM perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

    If we were not inclined to sin, as to yield to it in some way, He would not command us, upon receiving Him, to ABIDE in Him, to FOLLOW AFTER Him etc... We DO abide in Him, as we continue to obey His command to love, and to confess; repent of, our sins when, or in case we, disobey Him, so we can proceed to CONTINUE in Him. And, as we do these things:

    John 15:4 ABIDE in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear FRUIT of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

    Matthew 3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits MEET FOR REPENTANCE:

    Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth CONFESSION IS MADE unto salvation.

    1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and JUST TO FORGIVE us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

    2 Corinthians 7:10 For GODLY sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

    Romans 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the GOODNESS OF GOD leadeth thee to repentance?

    Matthew 12:37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt BE CONDEMNED.

    As we repent of; confess, our sins daily, we KNOW we are then CLEAN, and up and ready to CONTINUE to WALK in Him, UN-defeated!

    So, all we need do is to BELIEVE, RECEIVE, SAY, SPEAK, CONFESS, God's Word unto us, as we read it. And He has A WORD for EVERYTHING good unto us:

    Psalms 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: NO good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

    He even instilled 'repenting of sin' in the very prayer He instructs us to pray daily:

    Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be your name.

    10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

    11 Give us this day our DAILY bread.

    12 And FORGIVE US OUR DEBTS, as we forgive our debtors.

    13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

    14 For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

    Matthew 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

    As you remember to repent, TAKE JOY, in reading, and confessing, God's Word, unTO you, as for what you are, and have, in Christ, in God, by faith. And that faith will become manifested, as God, by His Spirit, will PERFORM His Words that you confess by faith, and perfect you more and more each day:

    Galatians 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which WORKETH BY LOVE.

    Romans 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba,
    Father.

    1 John 4:15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

    1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because GREATER IS HE that is in you, than he that is in the world.

    2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

    1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not MADE PERFECT IN LOVE.

    1 John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is PERFECTED in us.

    Romans 13:10 LOVE WORKS NO ILL to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

    1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

    1 John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love DWELLETH IN GOD, and God in him.

    Psalms 118:6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

    Hebrews 13:6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

    2 Kings 17:39 But the LORD your God ye shall fear; and he shall deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies.

    Psalms 145:19 He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

    Proverbs 10:24 The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted.

    I think God plays an everyday role in everyones life Im a teenager and it is truly amazing what god can do to a sinners life. I must say that he has amazingly helped me through all of my rough times in my life. Sure things havent went my way but then again the Lord didnt promise no hardships he said we would be tried. And that he says that he will be with us to the end of the world. And for something other than god to say something of that hes always there hes not like buddha or any other god. What are you talking too? Least when your talking to god you get an answer whether it be the Holy Ghost or whatever he blesses you with. And I just want to thank god for all of my blessings he has given me everything that I stand by. My biological parents werent what I needed I needed to be adopted and be led into the life that I am in and I praise him for it. Just remember me and I am always praising his holy name.
