I heard a lot about the "prosperity gospel " and the "feel good " gospel. This verse puts them in perspective. They are vain, have no substance and as written, will be judged by the wrath of God.

I really enjoy reading Ephesians chapter 5 it has open my eyes more toward loving my wife. I didn 't understand verse 21, but I did find an understand for it. I will continue reading the word each day to be closer to GOD.

This verse indicates that we christians should always take caution in the world i.e. watch and pray always because the devil like a roaring lion seeking whom to devour. And right from the time of John the Baptist,the bible says, the Kingdom of God suffereth violence and the violence taketh it by force.Therefore We need to always recognize God our creator and His only begotten Son Jesus, in order to avoid sinning. Put God first in anything you are doing, do not relent on your own effort. acknowledge Him and He will direct thy path.

I didn 't understand verse 25 either until I read LOVE RESPECT..it explains this scripture in a way you will c a change in your marriage!!!

im a women and my husband loves the Lord but does not let him have his way in his life he wants to do what he thinks is right but i cant say anything about it because it comes off like im nagging or trying to tell him what to do but its tearing my marriage apart i just dont know what to do

not as fool but as wise GOD is the only wise GOD There are many gods and many religions Yet if you don 't want to believe that GOD is in you and you in GOD you miss the point of salvation. For greater is he that is within me than he that is in the world. I am more than a conqueror.

I am to always have a thankful heart. Thanksgiving unto my Lord opens the door to Blessings . I am so very Grateful and in Thanksgiving always for his Wonderful and Great Salvation He has provided through Jesus Christ. I am so Glad and Happy that I am a part of the family of God. I am Thankful to have a copy of His word. That right there is a tremendous Blessing. I have access by faith into this Grace wherein I stand. It is a Great privilege to be a child of the Great and Living God Almighty.

Paul was exhorting Christians to use their time wisely in caring for spiritual interests, but the principle can be helpful in many important activities of life.

I love our Father 's word and guidance. We only need to follow him. This world is only temporary. His Kingdom is forever.

The Bible extolls self control for the believer, after all we are Gods representatives. Drunkeness leads to, and shows, a lack of self control. His Word also warns us against excesses in our lives, and drunkeness is certainly the result of an excess. Whether a Christian can drink wine isn 't the point here, if it were we would simply read "Do not drink wine ". It is a warning not to be entrapped, but to be controlled only by the Holy Spirit.

It is certain that we have all things in God through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, and the use of father does show that he cares and he supplies all our needs. By God we know he is able to do everything and nothing is impossible with him. So thanking God "all things " is a kind of faith that shows. that we know who he really is. A supplier and able God.

the husband must be subject and obeying God 's word. do not be unequally yoke, is the first step

Husband should be good to there wives because it takes two to make a marriage work to become one.God made it to be that way,I 'am happy in my marriege going on 5 years and growing.

I agree with Toni. Only men who have Christ in their hearts and are filled with the Holy Ghost can love their wives unconditionally. Thank God for his Word which challenges us to be there for our wives and families.

The only husband who can truly love the way Christ loved is he must possess Christ. He must be filled with the Holdy ghost, who will spread the love abroad in his heart. Women are wanting good men, but if they are not godly men, they will not have this love Paul speaks of.

Jesus Christ loved me so much that He gave Himself for me. That is love. Love gives !!!! Hate takes. If you will notice there are a lot of things that give the sun gives light The earth gives herb for food the tree gives food to eat. . God gave us all things richly to enjoy. His blood gives live. God is always love and live and living .

The kind of the Bible is saying in the sacrificial love, that is, the love Jesus has for us. The Bible says nobody can hate any part of his body. So, we men will ought to love our wives as Jesus love the church. Note that, marriage centred on three things Love man , Submission wife obedience children all these lead to dependable and reliable family.

Redeeming the time means to be LOYAL to the ONE who own the time. What did you used your time for? How did you spent your time? What is controling your time? What is the purpose IN and OF your time? What are the GOALS and TARGET in your time. Everybody on earth have 24 hours to his or her self, OBAMA have 24h, I have 24h, you also have 24h to your self. Our diffirent in success in life is what we do with our life, how we do and use our time. Our success in christianity and the HOPE of making HEAVEN is what we use our time and life for. Here is my final conclution Fear God and obey his commandment, for this is the entire duty of man. For God will judge us for everything we do with time we spent on earth, including every hidden things good or bad.

Because the days are so evil, we need to make the most of our time we have left doing Gods work , spreading the gospel to win souls
