This first scripture clearly warns that Satan will have power to deceive human beings with false signs, even tales of alien creatures, spaceships, mermaids, monsters, vampires, you name it. Cable and streaming tv are full of it.

Common Hebrew understanding of the heavens. The heavens in the Old Testament are fairly earth centered, much in the same way we look at the universe.

The first heaven is the earth atmosphere. In this atmosphere, birds fly and clouds form. This heaven is spoken of often in the Old Testament. "The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands" ( Deuteronomy 28:12).

The second heaven the Hebrews described consisted of the universe as we know it. This heaven consisted of sun, moon, and stars. "In the heavens he has pitched a tent for the sun . . . It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other . . . " ( Psalm 19:4,6).

The third heaven is the dwelling place of God. This was the experience Paul described. "In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven" ( Matthew 5:16). God dwells in the highest heaven, "But will God really dwell on earth? The heavens, even the highest heavens cannot contain you" ( 1 Kings 8:27)

YAHUAH says that he will scatter to the four corners and gather as well even the house of Yahudah th that was sent into slavery which is the trans-Atlantic slave trade. Joel 3rd chapter.

As you would have read this chapter in entirety, the Lord God promises blessings or curses upon Israel, depending on how they behaved towards Him. Verses 1-14: the blessings (the good things from the Lord) & verses 15-68: the curses (the evil things from the Lord).

So, in verse 68, the thought here is: just as you (Israel) were brought out of Egypt by God's mighty Hand of deliverance, taken triumphantly & miraculously through the midst of the Red Sea & eventually brought into the Promised Land as a free people of God, so to, God will do the opposite if you refuse the Lord & disobey His Commandments. Instead of deliverance, Israel would be sent back into slavery. And from research (as Josephus reports), Emperor Titus, who ransacked Jerusalem & the Temple in AD 70, also did heinous things to the Jews - many were killed by his men or mistreated very badly. Thousands (the young & fit among the Jewish men & women) were sent into slavery in Egypt, going chained in ships. But there were so many of them, that the Egyptian markets were filled with Jewish slaves, so their price was either very low, or they remained unsold. This very sad event appears as a fulfilment of God's Promise to those who despised His Word throughout their generations & in spite of their captivities to the Assyrians & Babylonians earlier on.

I repeat, the above account of Israel's slavery in Egypt, is not in Scripture, but from the historians, one of whom was Josephus. And this account has nothing to do with those sent to America as slaves.

The problem or maybe the changing of the meaning what is the problem because it reads like YAHUAH will take Israel back by ships, but this time no one will buy us. When slave came to America they were brought and sold. So is there a going back as slaves, but no one will buy us?

In verses: 72. In Deuteronomy Ch 28 God list a bunch of curses that he would put on Israel if they disobedient, A curse on the womb was one. Deuteronomy 28 proves who the descendants of The Ancient Israelites are today. There is only one group of people that fit the curses of Deuteronomy. The people who call themselves "Jewish" are not The Real Jews. They do not fit any of the curses Deuteronomy. The Real Jews are scattered abroad and They lost their heritage and culture.

That was a strong testimony, Whit - thank you. And fortunately, during that spiritual encounter you had on the freeway, you were spared being involved in an accident - must be the Lord's doing indeed!

However, I was concerned with your reference to Deuteronomy 28:7: "The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways." As you know that portion was the LORD's promise to Israel to sustain & protect her providing she served the Lord & kept His commandments. And one of those promises is there in verse 7: protecting her from her enemies, that they might indeed march in closed ranks against her, but when the Lord's Hand comes against them, their fleeing will be totally disorganized as they 'run for their lives' in all directions.

You find this verse applicable to your life, particularly in the appointment by the Lord for your time on Earth. Did you receive this as a Word from God or was it simply you applying it to yourself? I can't change your mind to rethink this matter, but can say that this type of interpretation & application will in all likelihood, fail. And your 'remaining days' may be unnecessarily burdened with thoughts, plans & decisions based on your interpretation, which would grieve me for the outcome of your life on Earth.

My Mother died at age 40 - my Father at age 61. I've always felt that my time would come somewhere in between those years as various factors of health, genes, family history, etc. are taken into account. Now, I have exceeded 61 yrs by 5 yrs & still quite healthy. My calculations failed at that level. In the commentary Mathew Henry writes "And let us be thankful that Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, by being made a curse for us, and bearing in his own person all that punishment which our sins merit, and which we must otherwise have endured for ever."

Why is this verse worded so different than other translations?

I believe those who altered the Bible mislead these people because the true message of the Almighty for making is to worships him alone. But these people believe Jesus to be God and worship and refer him as the LORD. That is how they are mislead even to this day.
