    I love The Person Of Holy Spirit. I loved Jesus from young teen but always felt I was lacking something! In 1980 at the age of 40 I was filled with Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues while unloading my dishwasher! I am nearing 82 now! O what a Blessings to know Him and it was He that I was needing all those years and only then I felt complete! PTL

    God created man and breathed into him a living soul, different from all other sentient creatures having a living soul in the image of God, a Spirit small s in the image of God and the big S God's Spirit was with him and in him until man commited the first sin.

    Dear Diane, the verses you mentioned are from the Book Of Ecclesiasticus, a book which is included in the so called Apocrypha selection of books of the Old Testament. This is a different book from the Book of Ecclesiastes which is included in the canon of the Old Testasmet. The names are similar but they are different books.

    Most agree that the Apostle Paul had poor eye sight caused by the bright light at his conversion on the road to Damascus; which would hamper him when writing, hence he had others (stenographers) to write for him with one exception which was his letter to the Galations which he writes that he wrote to them in large letters. Many believe his "thorn in the flesh" was his poor eyesight.

    *** Can the Holy Ghost Convict a Born Again Believer (child of GOD)(Member of the Body of Christ) Of ""SIn"" ?

    My answer is NO!

    1Jn 3:9 KJV Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

    Joh 16:7 KJV Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

    Joh 16:8 KJV And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

    Joh 16:9 KJV Of sin, because they believe not on me;

    Joh 16:10 KJV Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;

    Joh 16:11 KJV Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

    If my pastor's former wife left him for another man many years ago is he qualified to be my pastor? I love him and his family and have grown so much in The Spirit under his preaching and our church is doing really well. I believe he is truly anointed but there are some that say he is not qualified to be my pastor because of his past. What am I supposed to believe?

    John HI There are different ideas or schools of thought on this, my understanding is GEN 1:1 God in the beginning created the

    heavens and earth. To create biblically is to bring into existance that which never existed before. Now verse two carefully and the

    earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the faces of the deep. An interesting point about the word was in scripture sometimes its italicised and sometimes it isn't and italicised words were added to original writings. Now the bible is Gods Word and can't or shouldn't contradict itself. In 1 john 1:5 we read GAOD IS LIGHTAND IN HIM IS NO DARKNESS AT ALL, also

    in gospel of JOHN 10:9 THE THIEF COMETH NOT BUT TO STEAL KILL AND DESTROY [MAKE USELESS] THIS IS THE DEVIL OR SATANS DOING. Between Gen. 1:1 and 1;2 is where lucifer was thrown out of Heaven and cast down to earth and ruined original creation. Notice after verse two God didn't create until verse 21, between verse 3and 21 he said he he called he set he let so

    he set back in order that which was originally there. In regards to replenish in the beginning there was life before Adam and eve

    but the only thing that remains are fossils so we speculate on what that life may have been. Thats why God said replenish again

    my understanding.

    It's now July 21, 2022. As I look at all the evil perpetrated by the currant Biden/Marxist administration, I wonder how bad it will get before our Father God says, ENOUGH! We are all in a fight between good and evil, and my prayer is the God will give us a discerning spirit during these troubled times. As I see things unfolding within our country and around the world, I really don't see this nation playing a major role in the end times, nor am I so certain that we are in the end times. But hey that's just me. Did not our Lord Jesus say that only the Father knows when the end of this age will come? Yes He did. We are to be ready!!!

    Hello everyone , I'm in need of some help please . I'm quite freaked out . I am a very grounded person , feet firmly on the floor , not given to flights of fancy , don't believe in any kind of ghost , a very practical logical person . So , about fifteen years ago , at a record fayre ,I bumped into someone called Colin , who I was brought up with as a child , we lived in the same street . His family were very poor and there were always horrible rumours about his mom and dad . We weren't friends with his family . At the record fayre I said hi , he was painfully shy and uncomfortable so I didn't say anything else . So since that day fifteen years ago I've seen him a lot in my town centre where I live . I always smile and say hi but that's it for about twice a week for fifteen years . At the end of June my Aunty told me that he had died quite suddenly at the end of May , I thought that was odd because i was sure I'd seen him a couple of times in June but admitted that I must have made a mistake . There was a death notice for him in our local paper and on internet , I left a message of condolence . I've just seen him , as plain as day , two feet from me , outside , smiling at me and saying hi to me . He looked slightly different , he had a lot of white streaks in his dark hair and he was wearing different clothes , he always wore the same outfit for the last fifteen years , pale blue t shirt and dark trousers , today he had jeans and a white t shirt on . He was as solid as you or I am . He gave me a big smile , even his eyes smiled , and he said hi . I just thought to myself 'oh , he can't be dead ' and smiled back . I've just texted everyone I know who knew him and they all say that he's dead . I'm not crazy , just freaked out . Please help !

    Bobby, bear with me please.

    Part 4

    So,, I come to believe that Jesus was the sinless Son of God who became human in order to be the sacrifice needed to take away the sins of the world for all time. The next question I have is: "Why did my sin need to be taken away, and especially by the death of Jesus?"

    So, I read in Romans 6:6-10 says

    "..knowing this, that our old man (sinful self) was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin. For he who has died has been freed from sin. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him. knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him, For the death that He died, He died to sin once and for all, but the life that He lives, He lives to God."

    and further in this chapter, Paul writes. " For you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. but now having been set free from sin, you have, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit of holiness, and the end, everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." ( Romans 6:20-23)

    This tells me that the difference between being a believer in Jesus or a disbeliever is that sin brings death to all, but those who believe in Jesus receive eternal life.

    Well, my next question is: Why is it so good to have eternal life with God in Jesus Christ?

    And for me, I guess the answer to this question is, first, the alternative is eternal death without God in hell. Revelations (20:11-15)

    But the gift of eternal life in Jesus Christ which is the result of His sacrificial death on the cross to take away my sin and reconcile me to God, who is absolutely pure and sinless. Is this something I desire?
