A man after his own heart.
Satan was going to explain away sound doctrine, and He knows we must be empowered with the power of the holy spirit, if you have any doubt about speaking in tounges again just ask our heavenly father to baptize you with His spirit and with the evidence of speaking in tounges to see if it still exist for this day and age.
the sorcerer and he became blind. Also in john 8 starting verse 13 talkuing to the leaders ye are from beneath Iam from above
also verses 38-44 same people and in verse 44 ye are of or from your father the devil this is spiritual not physical. a person can get born again of the true God and a persson can get born again of satan which is irreversable which is why Jesus Christ said to
ythem you will die in your sin they were unredeemable. It is written
I would agree that 1 Corinthians 15:29 is referring to them performing water baptism as a substitute for the dead who were never water baptized for one reason or another. However, I don't think I can agree that the other two verses you gave ( Colossians 2:12, and Romans 6:3-7) are speaking of water baptism. I understand those verses to be referring to the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
I do agree on the symbolism of water baptism. Water baptism is an expression, a testimony, supposedly of what God did in my spirit when I got saved. It is called the baptism of the Holy Spirit. And yes, I am in agreement with you that the word baptize (BAPTO) means to dip or immerse. Secondly, the word baptism is related to two things, one is cleansing, but it is mostly related to identification.
That is one of the things about Christian baptism, water baptism, is that when you are baptized, it is your testimony of your identification and the inward work of God's Spirit in your life. The second thing that the word baptism represents is cleansing. It was used religiously to represent cleansing.
In the book of Hebrews, the writer of Hebrews says that the Jewish people had many baptisms. And they would practice this, especially the washing of hands. But the Jews would baptize everything, pots, pans, you name it!
Blessings to you also!
by his physical parents.
Amen. I agree.
Food for thought: If I'm truly saved according to the Gospel, would it not manifest into myself being a completely forgiving child of God? If I'm honest with myself, I'm still dealing with forgiveness; of others, myself, and possibly even God (relationships). Even happenings and events. Personally, I take it upon myself as evidence of my salvation, along with doing unto others as I'd have them do unto me, loving my neighbor as myself. Sometimes I don't do so well.
One way I see forgiveness is looking beyond one's mistakes from the beginning or before it happened. Thus the mistake doesn't appear as real to me. If I don't' forgive, have I truly received forgiveness for myself? Can an unforgiving heart enter the Kingdom?
his line came the unbelievers. look at Jude verses 8-16 these have gone the way of Cain was spiritually rotten to the core.
Remember Ephesians 6:12 first part we wrestle not against flesh and blood.
first it cannot contradict His WORD POINT TWO IT has to GLORY God and Jesus CHRIST three it must be a blessing to the giver and receiver and build up the body of CHRIST THE CHURCH. EXAMPLE a brother of mine committed to God to go and hold forth
Gods word for one year. Five months into the year he shows up where I was working and I ask him whats he doing back home.
he said he had a sign from God and saw geese flying north in winter instead of south and it was a sign. I lovingly ask him do you
believe that God would do that after you made a personal commitment to Him to do what you said and then show something to break that commitment, especially when God opened doors and made it available for you to do what you committed to. So bottom line as long as it lines up with it is written and also when God opens doors they open easy especially if He wants you to do something and ask and pray first. Phillipians 4:19.
Amen. I agree.

Stay with prayers and supplication and reading the Bible. A person who truly seek the truth will be guided by the Holy Spirit. Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; Colossians 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Acts 20:28-32
Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
Revelation 18:4
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. Agape.
Hebrews.1:5. For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
Titus 3:4-6. But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of ( REGENERATION,) and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
God bless.
That's a valuable piece of info one should remember when evangelizing.
God bless.
There is no denying this.
Genesis 4:1. And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.
Nice read.
God bless.
or made alive but not regeneration?
.....If he does not know us there is no seed sown in our hearts ...Thus no Child of PROMISE which is the H.G. the CHILD of PROMISE The Kingdom
......When Jesus was in Jerusalem many BELIEVED in him when they saw the miracles he did...But Jesus did not commit himself unto them b/c he knew what was in MAN and needed that not any should testify of man....Thats y he was saying you must be converted and become as a lil Child...Which is the Child of Promise the H.G...Our new birth... John 2 : 23 kjv
.....The only way we can be bornagain is by his seed which is his WORD....As Peter says being bornagain if an incorruptible seed etc...Even by the words of God....The living word which is spirit and life....Thus he has to know us which is an intimacy that results in a birth of Christ in us.
.....Thats the New Covenant...I will know them ALL from the least to the greatest....And thats y Jeremiah saw all men in travail and birth pains... Jeremiah 30 : 6 kjv
This intimacy is the Knowledge that is gonna cover the earth as the waters cover the seas....As he is gonna know all men... Isaiah 11 : 9..Kjv.....27 times in the O.T. the prophets saw the world in travail and birth pains.
.....The Child is the H.G. that Child of Promise the Kingdom....Unless ya receive the kingdom of God as a lil Child you will in no wise enter there in....Thats y he has to know us....Just believing is not enought....Satan believes and is not saved...ok
and the believer tries or pushes their spouse to believe. Absolutely unbiblical because who saves people jesus Christ via
Gods word and that by seeing the love of God demonstrated. When you walk in Gods love [agapeo spiritual] which the highest
action of love we walk in what GOD IS PERFECT LOVE which is what was displayed by Jesus Christ i.e. those who have seen
me have seen the father. The corinthian churh dealt with all types of unbelief and division which Paul by revealed knowledge
from God addressed. Chapter 7:1-16 deals with single believers and marriage whether one is a believer or both. God
instituded marriage Genesis 2:23=24 therefore why would God won't to divide what he desired. Now if a person in a marriage
get born again and the spouse wants to split, the born again one is not held accoutable for someone elses unbelief. Look at
Gods love if one or the other splits look at verse 15 if the unbeliever leaves we are not in bondage but are calles to peace.
The other side of the coin if husband or wife is a believer God Does want that to break up verses 13+14. The heart of
God is not division but peace healing love grace and mercy all possible by walking on his Word. We don't push or compell or
condemn we love with agapeo.
My understanding of that is as follows:
1 Corinthians 7:16
"For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife?"
Paul advices christians not to separate if wife/husband is a unbeliever because staying with wife/husband may lead to their salvation.
But (and this is of great importance but is often delibareately ommited to teach)if they separate they cannot be married again.
Verses 10-11 "And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:
But and if she depart (permitted only due to adultery), let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife."
GBU
God does draw people to Christ. From there, it's up to the individual as to whether or not they will receive Him for salvation, or want to get away from Him. The individual must receive Jesus in order to be saved. ( John 6:44)
I would like to use a verse that almost every believer probably has memorized, and it is John 3:16 which says, "For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth (in him) should not perish, but have everlasting life.
But is that all it takes to have everlasting life, just to believe in Jesus? I would have to say no. Believing in Jesus is a must, but just believing alone cannot save a person.
Here's something I would like to share about John 3:16, and other verses that use the word in. First of all, in John 3:16, the original text does not say whosoever believeth in Him. It says whosoever believeth into Him. It is the word EIS which means into, not in. This is very important because there is a difference between believing in and believing into Jesus.
You see, a person can believe in Jesus but still not surrender their life to Him. Their belief will not save them. They must experience a Spiritual birth from above. They must receive Christ. They must transfer that belief in Him to a belief into him, meaning they must be born of His Spirit (Spiritual birth), them in Christ and Christ in them.
When I read verses that say believe in Jesus, especially John 3:16, I already know that in the original text it says believe into, not believe in. And again, there is a difference. There are people who will say that all you have to do to be saved and have eternal life is believe in Jesus. But that is not true. Again, belief is important but will not save a person.
The bible tells us in James 2:19 that even the demons believe in Jesus. They know who He is but they will never surrender their life to Him. They will never believe into Him.
Just thought I'd share this!
