Why did God not respect the offering of Cain?

Jesus speaks in the bible book Revelation 2:9 - I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

So is Jesus cursed for saying this? I do not believe so. Some claim Jesus is antisemitic.

Seun, the Lords prayer asks to not be led into temptation so why should we present an opportunity to lead ourselves into temptation? I am an old man. Daniel's entire prophecy of the seventy sevens ( Daniel 9:20-27) is speaking of the nation of Israel. It is a time period in which God focuses His attention especially on Israel. The seventieth seven, the tribulation, must also be a time when God deals specifically with Israel. While this does not necessarily indicate that the church could not also be present, it does bring into question why the church would need to be on the earth during that time.

The primary Scripture passage on the rapture is 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. It states that all living believers, along with all believers who have died, will meet the Lord Jesus in the air and will be with Him forever. The rapture is God's removing of His people from the earth. A few verses later, in 1 Thessalonians 5:9, Paul says, "For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ." The book of Revelation, which deals primarily with the time period of the tribulation, is a prophetic message of how God will pour out His wrath upon the earth during the tribulation. It seems inconsistent for God to promise believers that they will not suffer wrath and then leave them on the earth to suffer through the wrath of the tribulation. The fact that God promises to deliver Christians from wrath shortly after promising to remove His people from the earth seems to link those two events together.

Then what you're reading in Mt 5, is Jesus saying that He had come to fulfil God's Laws: He fulfilled prophecy given about Him & alone could completely obey God's Laws & therefore would never need to sacrifice for Himself, simply because he never sinned. In fact, His Love was so great for us, that He willingly became the sacrifice in death in our stead - for our sins: He became our Substitute, our Saviour to save us from sin's penalty which is eternal death. So, if Jesus perfectly fulfilled God's Laws & became our Sacrifice, then all who believe in Him through His Blood, are also now freed from the curse of the Law ( Gal 3:13). In other words, if we still want to obey the 'old Law' to satisfy God or contribute to God accepting us, then Christ's death is counted as nothing. However, Rom 8:4 says, that "the Righteousness of the Law might be fulfilled in us"; the letter of the Law failed, but the Law of the Life giving Spirit (8:2) is put in our hearts to help us correctly obey God.

In this chapter we see Amos bringing the Word of God but the people had no appetite for it because of their apathy. In making application we see that we have the Word of God in our hands today,the Bible, yet we look for answers everywhere else except in its pages which contain all the answers to our lives. Obey Your Calling

In this chapter we see the visions of judgement the Lord gave Amos. What catches my eye is how Amos obeyed God's call to prophesy unto the people of Israel even though he did not have the education or training to accomplish the task, he simply obeyed the Lord. In making application we see a call to obedience. By Faith we are do what the Lord instructs us in His Power through the Holy Spirit. How about you? Do you allow your feeling of inadequacy keep you from obeying the Lord?
