Galatians 3:29 "And if ye be Christ's, then ARE YE are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."
nothing about we "BECOME" or "SPIRITUAL SEED" it says ARE YE the seed of Abraham.
I believe Christians are the chosen seed.
Others want to believe those who deny Christ, who are ANTICHRISTS, are the chosen seed.
please prove to me the antichrists are God's chosen from the Bible.
King James Bible Jesus speaks to some of the Jews in John 10:23 - 29:And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch. Then came the JEWS (THE JEWS) round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
"But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you."
But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. Jesus said his sheep hear his voice and well I believe him.
What you are saying makes perfect sense, especially with the rich young ruler. In John 14:15, Jesus said, "If ye love me, keep my commandments." What commandments? I like to look at is as one command. Jesus said, "Follow me." That is a command. And I believe that if we are truly following Him, everything else lines up. Now here's something that I find interesting about John 14:15. In some of the Greek texts, instead of a command, it is written in the future tense. If you love me, (YOU WILL) keep my commandments. It's a statement of fact.
Everything in our relationship with Jesus Christ is based on love. People make decisions based on who and what they love the most. That's just a normal way of life. When I have to make a decision between two things, I make my decision based on which one I like the most, or which one I love the most. Jesus might be leading me to do something at the same time that there is something else I want to do instead. So now I have to decide, which one do I love the most?
But Jesus says if you love me, you will keep my commandments. The reason why we don't obey the persuasion of His Spirit leading us to do something is that we love something or someone else more. The Lord might want me to study the word, but there's a football game I want to watch. I've got to choose!
With the rich young ruler, his riches meant more to Him than leaving everything behind to follow Christ. As for loving God with all our heart, mind, and soul, we could not do that without the Spirit of Christ living in us. It's His Spirit that gives us that type of love and ability.
You are correct about the human. All the flesh can do is produce flesh. Paul said that in my flesh there is nothing good. The flesh cannot produce anything spiritual and is at constant war with the Spirit of Christ that lives in us. I don't believe that the 10 Commandments were given as a set of rules for us to keep, but were given to convict man of his sin and his need of a Savior.
Violent protests are nothing more than Satan's doing!
So is government's restriction of religious freedom or enforcement of religious customs.
So is society's attempts - especially online - to 'push' certain views upon others thru intimidation, sharp criticism, etc.
We will all be held accountable on the judgement day for our works/actions. Let us keep it that way - I do not want to judge anyone else nor do I want anyone else to judge me. Said another way, I struggle keeping myself from straying without trying to push my views on others.
That is Old Testament. They followed the expanded laws/customs at that time. You can find them in Leviticus and Deuteronomy. Exodus 20, is the Ten Commandments. There were customs in force and this incident was one of those. If someone harmed a neighbor or his possessions; restitution was made to the victim(s).
You should read those books. We have 2 Commandments that Jesus gave to us.
Matthew 5, Jesus explains patiently, which of the Ten Commandments is still observed; but if you obey the 2 new commandments, we wouldn't have to have Jesus explain common sense to us.
2 Timothy 3 explains what people will be like in the "Last Days". Our time right now.
Notice 2 Timothy 3:13
At the moment, it appears that the USS Eisenhower, which was off the Persian Gulf earlier this month, is now in the Mediterranean Sea for a drill with the Hellenic Navy. Between July 14 and 20 it made its way from near Oman toward the Red Sea and Suez Canal.
The USS Nimitz has been working recently with the Indian Navy. With the Eisenhower and the USS San Jacinto in the Mediterranean, the Nimitz has now moved to take up station with the Fifth Fleet as part of the need to sustain a carrier strike group presence in the Middle East, joining the fleet on July 24.
The Nimitz brings with her nine squadrons of the Carrier Air Wing and a destroyer squadron with the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Princeton and Arliegh-Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Sterett and USS Ralph Johnson, all under the command of Rear Adm. Jim Kirk. A native of Pennsylvania, he took up command of Carrier Strike Group 11 in May.

Isn't that Sorta silly? I'm with the President on this one :D
I like chihuahuas: their bark and proximity to ankles. I think of that when the enemy gets all puffed up and considers trying to squash Gods warriors. Greater is He that is in us.... :)
Paul even tells us why women shouldn't teach in verses 13 & 14, "For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression." He even takes it a step further in the next chapter where he describes the role of men and women both in the home and at church. The NT is remarkably consistent in the roles of men and women both at home and at church.
I constantly hear, "Well, I believe " and "Women were not taught " and "We are all equal " and "We are all one " as justifications for women preachers. Sorry, but your beliefs will not get you saved. Neither will justifications, rationalizations and rectifying Biblical biases.
The very second you begin altering the meaning of Biblical passages, you're wrong. The Bible is like a fine tapestry: Tug on one thread and it starts to unwind. Change the understanding on one verse and you change the meaning of a verse somewhere else - that's how perfectly interlocked the Bible is. When you change or misconstrue meanings or intentions of Bible verses, no matter how well intentioned you are, you are changing Jesus's Words and the Bible becomes flawed. When you see yourself challenging the Bible, pray to the Holy Ghost for guidance and understanding. May the peace of Jesus Christ be with you and yours.
Israel wasn't divorced, they were punished by God 7 times (7x 360 day/yrs = 2,520 years) according to Deuteronomy 26.
1) The house of Israel were taken into captivity by Assyria in 721 BC + 2,520 years = 1,799 Ephraim became the British empire, and America (Manasseh) would come out of his twin brother. The US is a Corporation owned by London; The Act of 1871.
2) Then, the house of Judah were taken captive to Babylon in 604 BC +2,520 years = 1917 Balfour Declaration, where Britain (Japheth born Rothschild) bought the false Ashkenazi Khazar Jews a home on land they had no claim to. Gen 10:2-3
The lead house of Israel tribes (Ephraim, Manasseh--sons of Joseph) are the birthright people (land, wealth) per their Gen 48 blessing. The lands' ownership is effectively the house of Israel, not Judah.
Our current climate of sustained chaos gets upended at the coming 6th trumpet, when Babylon America falls, Israel invaded. It's time for Jacobs trouble, and not Judah's trouble. Isaiah 13, Isaiah 47, Joel 2:1-11 & Rev 18, and the abomination of desolation set in America is very perplexing.

Do you think that the ten commandments are supposed to be kept?
Is there anywhere in the Bible where you find the doctrine you have upheld?
If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found; [29] Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days." Means that the Bible allows rape. Is this true or not?
I know this is not for me, but I agree with you completely. There are several places in the bible that mention the chosen, and the elect, and it is speaking of Jews. I know of at least 20 places that speak of Jews being God's chosen people, including the verses you listed.
Peter wrote his letters to the scattered Jews (the diaspora), and in 1 Peter 2:9, he says "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
These are all Jewish terms. Peter says you are a chosen generation. He's speaking to Jews. The word generation means race. The Jews are God's chosen race.
He says you are a royal priesthood. And that's not for Gentiles. That's for Jews. You are a holy nation. You are a peculiar people;
Now the peculiar people "might" apply to us. I know some pretty peculiar people that are not Jews! (He-he). But the word peculiar means people of a possession.
I agree fully that the Jews are God's chosen people. They are also called His elect. Gentiles are never called the elect or chosen.
Jesus in bible book Revelation 2:9 - I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
2nd witness of Jesus in Revelation 3:9 "Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee." Jews are going to worship at the feet of Christians.
Did you know the Lord DIVORCED ISRAEL?
Jeremiah 3:8 "And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also."
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
How can anyone tell me that those who have the wrath of God against them for rejecting the Son is the "chosen people"
King James Bible Jesus speaks to some of the Jews in John 10:23 - 29:And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch.
Looks to me that those who hear the voice of Jesus are true sheep or the chosen people.
"And the Spirit and the bride say, Come.
And let him that heareth say, Come.
And let him that is athirst come.
And whosoever will, let him take the water of life feely."
The Book of Life is still being written.
