Sister glenda, may christ in us grace us with his wisdom and his understanding.

god (spirit) is sovereign; god leaves no part of his children being brought to perfection (image of god), to mans supposed free will.

we all make choices thousands of times a day; but there is always a cause that made you make that choice.

philippians 2:13 for it is god (spirit) that worketh in you both to will and to do his good pleasure.

ephesians 1:11 in whom (in christ) we also have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated (god's will and work) according to his purpose (bring sons and daughters in the glory of the father)(not left to chance and choice of man) of him who worketh all things (even you choices) after the council of his own will:

god does not even leave your believing to chance:

philippians 1:29 for it is given to you on the behalf of christ, not only to believe (the word) on him, but to suffer (in the flesh) for his (name) sake.

Hello, not sure if I'm understanding your view correctly, but it sounds like maybe you don't believe Jesus is God. I do understand people's different viewpoints around this, because God the Father is just referred to as God in many cases. For example, Son of God in the wording suggests that He's not God, but the Son. However, that isn't the whole picture- as there's so much Bible verses showing His divinity and it would be hard for anyone to deny that Jesus himself was called God and scripture says He was God in John 1:1.

    1. Isaiah 7:14 - People called Jesus Immanuel which means "God with us"

    2. John 10:30 "I and my Father are one."

    3. John 8:19 "if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also."

    4. John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

    "Word WAS God."

    5. Philippians 2:5 - 2:8 "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:"

    "form of God"

    "equal with God"

    6. John 1:3 - All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

    Jesus made everything.

    7. John 14:10 "Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works."

    8. John 20:28

"And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God."

    9. 1 John 5:8 "And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one."

    10. Genesis 1:26 - "And God said, Let us make man in our image"

    "Let us make" - plural.

What I gather from this is they are different but the same. We will probably never 100% comprehend this until after this life. The Son is not the Father and the Father is not the Son, but it says they made everything together, are in each other, have similar form, they both have great power to do miracles, and both are referred to as God in the Bible.

    2 questions

1- what happened to all the bodies of the the 1000's that died in biblical battles?

2- if Abraham lived 175 yrs. and Sarah127, why were their bodies considered too old to produce or bear a child?

    Chris,

If I may ask a question, I respect your knowledge of scripture. Jesus is the Son of God the beginning of creation, He is the first and the last, and His name is above all other names that are named and through Him, all was created. After His resurrection, God placed Him above all, until He puts every enemy under His feet, and we know that is death, ( 1 Corinthians 15:25-28).

We do see in ( Romans 8:3) He was sent in the likeness of sinful flesh, but there was not any sin in Him as was the first Adam when God formed him. The way many use the word Godhead, which is the same Greek words for divine, divinity, and divine being, gives the impression that Jesus could not sin. If Jesus was unable to sin what did He defeat? ( Hebrews 2:14-19)

The covenant had to be fulfilled in the flesh that was capable of sinning to be able to break the curse of sin. Jesus coming and what He suffered for us was the will of the Father. We even see in ( Matthew 26:39-44) and ( Luke 22:41-44) being in agony asking the Father if there is another way, but not the Sons' will but the Fathers.

Can't we know and accept the divinity of Jesus, as the Son of God, His name above all names, Him (Jesus) who now holds the authority overall, by God placing Him above all, Jesus is Almighty, ( Revelation 1:8), without saying He is God, which is called a mystery and confuses many? What I see and hear from scripture, there is God the Father, the Son of God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, all are one in the will of the Father, and we as the servants of Christ, and through Jesus, we do the will of the Father and are one with the Father. Am I wrong?

I do not want to cause strife, this is just a seriously honest question asked out of love.

While living in adultery, it is hard too say what I have forfeited in my relationship with Him, let alone the family! Marriage is right at the top of his list, being the family, that he has joined together . Divorce should never be taken lightly! It is only by His extended grace under His conditions, conditions we usually find after we have made our decision. Marriage should never be taken lightly!
  • Joe - In Reply - 4 years ago
    We have a child together

    She refused counseling

She wanted the divorce then changed her mind and I kept it going out of shear frustration and I had also committed sin with a relationship. I since repented and have been single for 3 Years. I met a Christian woman got to know her, this time I waited and asked her to marry me and we are waiting until next year. I have been seeking the Father about this for sometime as to not put her or myself in a position of unforgiveness. I really Love her but I Love God more!! But he Loves me more!!

When they argued amongst them selves who was the greatest ,Jesus took a lil Child and put him in their midst and said he that is least among you the same shall be great which is the H.G. the Child of Promise that has to be born in US . The reason we refer to the .H.G as a Child is b/c he has to born with in us via the seed of Christ Giving us a new heart and a new SPIRIT That new creature . Whosover receiveth one such child in my name receiveth ME. Our new innerman etc Thats y he always refers to himself as the Son of MAN, Mankind needs to birth a babY CHRIST in our hearts which is the H.G. the Child of Promise . When a seed dies it multiplies thus he will be multiplied as the stars of heave

I especially like verses 27-28 "that they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from everyone of us, for in him we live and move and have our being, as certain also of your own poets have said, for we are also his offspring"

In reality, people looking for God is a little like a fish in a river looking for water, we are literally immersed in and made of God (being his offspring). The notion that we, or anything, is separate from God is an illusion, a little like a wave on the ocean believing it is separate from the ocean. A wave can not be separate from the ocean except in the mind of a person, in the world of words and thinking. Neither can we be separated from God, except in our minds. Let go and let God. When were were born into this world, we felt (knew) we were connected to everything in our world, we felt (knew) the Truth of "in him we live and move and have our being". As we have aged, our perceptions and world experience have changed and allowed us to believe that we (and others) are somehow separate from God. This is an illusion and why Jesus taught that unless we "be converted and become as little children, we shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven". Being converted here simply means a change (conversion) of consciousness, we must see and experience the world as we did when we were children, when we realized that we were not separate from the world, or anything in it, in order to enter "the kingdom of heaven"

  • Matthew 18 AGREEMENT PRAYER - In Reply - 4 years ago
19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

I pray against sickness in my coming and going. I pray against any form of sickness coming near me, my family, or near my vicinity. I claim my healing against: (speak your disease out now) in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I declare by the power and authority of the Holy Ghost, that no illness, spirit of infirmity or sickness attack from the enemy shall prevail against me in Jesus's mighty name. I am covered by the Blood of Jesus.

I confess Jesus Christ as my infinite Healer, and by His holy stripes and mighty authority, I declare that I am totally healed from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. I render every satanic attack against me bound up and cast out by the Name of Jesus! every spiritual foundation of sickness, and I command every infirmities spirit to bow down right now to the authority that is in the name of Jesus Christ. Go into outer darkness. Do not return in Jesus of Nazareth name!

I pray against sickness in any form or shape. I say with confidence that I am the healed of the LORD Jesus Christ. I cover myself and family with Christ's precious holy blood of Jesus and I declare by His holy might and righteousness, dominion and authority that it shall continue to be well with me and my family in all dominion, and dimensional realms.

I forbid by the authority of the Holy Ghost any reoccurrence of sickness in my life. I claim immunity for me and for my family against every form of sicknesses with the atonement blood of Jesus Christ. I declare that we carry the mark of Christ Jesus; therefore, let no infirmities spirits ever trouble us!

In Jesus of Nazareth holy name and by His righteous authority I have decreed and declared! I stand in faith. Amen.

Romans 9 : 2 9 Unless the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a SEED we wd had been made like unto Sodom and Gomarrah . Which is in my OPIN. is the book, and the new covenant in the right hand of the Father that is sealed with 7 seals, thats y they all sang a NEW SONG after the book was opened . Its was after the book was opened that the woman goes into Child Birth as the woman is the World where that good seed is gona be sown . Remember God told Daniel that the book was sealed till the last days. When Daniel asked God about the WORDS of WONDER . ( that new covenant ) the SEEDS of the Sower that are gonna be sown in mans hearts resulting in a Heavenly Birth. And John describes this woman and her Child as the Kingdom, and salvation and the power of her Christ ( Her Child the H.G.). the Contents of the book is gonna save the whole world. The contents of the new covenant implies God wd KNOW us ALL from the least to the greatest, If i be lifted up i will draw ALL MEN UNTO ME. If God is gonna KNOW us ALL, ITS GONNA RESULT IN CHILD BIRTH. Which is that Child of Promise .Remember when Jerimiah told us of the new covenant, He also saw ALL men in Travail and Child birth 30: 6. Which is the H.G. K lemme go rake the leaves.

In them ye think ye have eternal Life , John 5;39. The spirit searches all things . The seed is in the sower. The sower will see how the seed will do. It cannot grow without , it must grow within, until fruit comes. Then we may eat, and once again now we may grow more. We must eat the fruit so it may complete the process again, provided by the word, the spirit that moves within! This is the same spirit He has shed on the whole world!

Lemme give ya take on the early Church and the disciples and the H.G. The H.G. cd not come till they heard the Word. Jesus said you are made clean by the Word i have spoken unto you ,Thus hearing the word is our cleanser that the H.G the Child of Promise cd be formed in us ( born in us ) like Child birth . Thats when they were born again when they birth the H.G the child of PROMISE by hearing his word that are his seeds, Even in the natural a child cannot be born without an intimacy and a seed has to be sown. Without that good seed ( the living WORD ) The H.G. cannot be born in US. Unless the LORD knows us .Thats y he said b/c i have spoken these words ( his seeds ) sorrows has filled your hearts a spritual pregnancy When a woman is in travail she has sorrows b/c her hour is come but after the Child is come she remembered no more the sorrows b/c she has birth a Child our Child is spirit the H.G the Child of Promise. As Peter says being Bornagain of an incorruptible seed Even by the words of God THAT LIVIETH and Abideth for ever ( the living word not the written word ) Unless ya receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child ( the H.G ) You will in no wise enter there in ,As he said that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit which is the H.G the Child of Promise . That heavenly Birth via his seed etc. But always remember the H.G has to be born in US via his seed the words of that book the seeds of the sower, The Words of God. Thats what real Faith is a spritual pregnancy thats y its the substance of things hoped for the Evidence of things not seen a baby Christ which is that Child of Promise the H.G.

14 - 18. The mention of the Angels gives one the impression that all the Angels have fallen when this is not so. The commentary is not clear on the fact that only a third fell from grace and went AWOL.

Someone unfamiliar with their bible could easily assume all Angels were bad eggs.

Hello John. You'll find that verse in Matthew 18:20. This was part of some teaching that Jesus gave to His disciples & particularly the section from verses 18-20.

In these verses, He tells them of the special power & authority that they would have because they belonged to Him. That which they bound or loosed on Earth, would be bound or loosed in Heaven. This was particularly in relation to Church discipline (vv 15-17) but could also have implications in other Church matters. Likewise, if they came to agreement on some matter that they presented to God, they would receive it. This can only be understood as the disciples remained faithful & sought the mind of Christ in their conduct & affairs of others and as a special grace afforded them.

And whenever they come together to address these things or to spend time in worship, Christ would be in their midst. Certainly, Jesus was speaking about His Spirit Who would direct them, prompt them & give them discernment in all that God had planned for their lives & ministry. But after the Spirit came upon them & indwelt them on the Day of Pentecost, the Spirit took up permanent residence, when in my understanding, Matthew 18:20 no longer applied. Jesus was now positionally in Heaven at the Father's right Hand, but as He said earlier to them, "if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you." ( John 16:7). As Jesus departed, the Comforter (the Holy Spirit) was sent to them, so that whether they were together as a group of disciples or apart from each other somewhere in the World ministering, they would never be without the Holy Spirit, for "He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you" ( John 14:17b).

Today, those who have been saved by the Blood of the Lamb & have the Holy Spirit residing, are never alone to face the World or the various matters coming before them. The Spirit of Jesus is there to minister to our every need & when we worship together, He is present in us & with us.
