That isn't stated in the Bible. There's a cartoon movie by that phrase, but it doesn't come from scripture.
I believe heaven will be more amazing than anyone's wildest dreams. And I think most people ask this question because they deeply miss their pet. Perhaps even some are trying to evaluate whether its 'worth' the effort to follow Jesus? The answer is a 100/100 yes, and the alternative would be terrifying, so it should be an easy decision.
If we trust God with our salvation I'm sure we can trust God with how great heaven will be. But I think it will be different than people will imagine, as it says people will not be given in marriage, for example. Imagine someone with more than one wife and how that would work out. Also, not everyone likes pets, so would they be forced to live with a mean pitfull in heaven for example. I was bitten by my dog and have negative feelings towards it, so my desired version of heaven would not be the same as what others would want. What about fish and childhood insect collections? Some smell and annoy others. I trust that whatever the case it will be mind blowingly amazing.
1 Samuel 16:14, 1 Samuel 19:20,
There are more references. Here are some more study references. Hope this helps.
appears to be different in the manifestation unto many people at the same time with many events occurring.
Also people being able to transfer the HOLY Spirit to another seems to appear after CHRIST was resurrected from death & the grave. Acts 1, Acts 9:17,31, Acts 10:44, Acts 11:15,16, Acts 13:52, Acts 19:1-11,
Ephesians 5:9, Galatians 3:14, Romans 8:1,
Please read the WORD of GOD,
That's fine with me. And, to that list I could add phony Christians and phony Christian organizations. When I was first saved, I relied on those who were my "shepherds" to steer me in the right direction. I can't tell you how many times I was led astray by phony "christians". I misinterpreted scriptures (like, "who is my brother"- to mean I was responsible for the entire "christian" body) and gave a lot of my money to people and organizations who didn't have my best interest at heart. I was used.
"Christian charity" is for one believer in Christ to another believer in Christ, not infidels. Also, I thought "giving" was supposed to be reciprocal, but I found myself always on the giving end and never on the receiving end.
So, when my infidel neighbors come to my door wanting something, do I slam the door in their face or continue to support them???? Does saying "no" bring shame to Christ??
It Is Written!
Nothing changed, Jesus came only for the lost sheep of Israel because the covenant was only with the house of Israel, it had to be fulfilled before the new covenant could be made. We read Jesus told the woman at the well, salvation is of the Jews, John 4:22. The old covenant had to be satisfied, fulfilled by flesh living a perfect life, the price was paid the contract was completed. Jesus said He was sent only for the lost sheep of Israel, Matthew 15:24.
He also told the apostles not to go but unto the lost sheep of Israel, Matthew 10:6. Even after Jesus ascended, they only went to the Jews until Peter had his dream and Paul was called, this was to fulfill the prophecies. The word given to the Gentiles was still a mystery but as God told Abraham all nations were in the plan, Genesis 26:4. But, yes when Jesus first came was only for the lost sheep of Israel, the covenant had to be confirmed to the Jews first. Daniel 9:27 Romans 1:15-17. It was also to make the Jews jealous and save some as it was written, Romans 11:8-14.
God bless,

Lord, Jesus, Edmund brings many things before you today. Hear our prayers Lord, for these requests. Grant quick and lasting answers. Revive your church around the world. We have slid into a sinful mess in so many ways. Forgive us and restore fervency and Your Truth in the hearts of Your children.
Edmund has many family needs, Lord. Meet those needs according to Your endless riches and power. Thank you Jesus. You are the source of all that is good. May your goodness reach us in our needs today. We pray in Your name, Lord Jesus.
Holy Lord, I lift up Donna to you today. Please give here wisdom and clear guidance on how to approach the problems she is having with those who are using drugs and in need, but mistreat her when she gives help to them. Lord, fill her with peace and strength to do what is necessary to stop the cycle here. Lord, I lift up those she is dealing with. Deliver them from drug dependency and the stronghold the enemy has on them through drugs. Send people these users besides Donna
who can help them with their need to get clean and sober. Convince these drug users of their need for a change and give them a willingness to take up the offers they receive to receive proper treatment. Lead them to life everlasting in You, Lord, Jesus. We pray this in Your name, Jesus. Amen.
I think that is where all of us on here are coming from-sharing our viewpoint from what we know of Scripture and our views are certainly influenced by what we have learned from others along the way. I respect that you do not wish to persuade or judge what others say. We are free to think as you do or to think that it is appropriate to address what others say in their posts. I agree that we should not presume other's thoughts or intentions, that is God's purview. The reason that we ask people to clarify or disagree with what someone posted is to deepen understanding of God's revelation to His people in the life and words of Jesus and His apostles and verify what is truly meant by the Words God gave to the apostles and other Scripture writers.. I am glad you are here. I welcome you and your ideas. I am especially thankful that you and others on this site do deeply love Jesus and are growing in wisdom and knowledge of God.
God's blessings to you today.
In the church family there is language that is peculiar to certain family groups. So, when groups cross paths, we may need to define some of our language so that communication is better understood. I appreciate your input.
context starts at verse 10, iin light of that we who believe should look to God to meet that specific need in
our lives.
This shows us, that in sexual matters, God sees our intentions. The "marriage bed" is undefined.
Titus 1:15
Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
Bottom line: it's better to be married; than self-gratifying. These days media demands that we satisfy ourselves, with beauty and power. Handsome partners are more desirable, etc.
In the case of Jacob, Abraham sends the "Servant "(a picture of the Spirit), to fetch him a suitable wife. It was love at first sight.
There is a suitable man for you. You need to be cleansed through prayer and be about a routine of expecting a husband to come into your life. He may not be beautiful, but he's rock solid spiritually. He's probably sitting in church looking for the same as you. Dating is a period of making sure you are compatible SPIRITUALLY. You water his camels :D and be prayerful throughout the process. If your "Jacob" is not in your church, ask the Lord if you can Visit a nearby church. Let Him lead you. God cares for you.
I hope this helps you.
Yes, I concur, God came as Jesus, when he felt the time was right, to save the "entire world." As per the scripture!
God Bless.
they because they being stiff necked and hardhearted were going to reject him which opened the door for all men.
Also he could not have come before He did that is strictly supposition by intellect, he came in the fullness of God
timetable when all the correct elements were in place set up by God in his Wisdom. The other statements you are
making are by assumption. I'll stick with It Is Written! We gentiles got in strictly by the adopted seeds Israels unbelief
Romans 11:17-24 Gods grace which only He knew. But again its choice as to what someone chooses to believe.
I get what you are getting at here. I could quote many Scripture verses with my posts as many do, but I normally do not because so much of what is said on here is opinion and many people may feel that they can give their opinion authority by quoting Scripture. I don't wish to do that because I know I am fallible. Instead, I will explain my view and hope that others will get out their concordance and look up what the Word says on a topic for themselves, so they can determine whether to accept my view or not.
If someone quotes a Scripture, I try to speak to that particular Scripture. You may notice that I rarely initiate discussion on a topic or Bible verse. I am not interested in that as much as I am about responding to what others post.
I am not interested in stirring up controversy, nor being divisive, not in drawing attention to myself. I just am being honest and posting my responses from a point of loving desire for others to seek and discover God's truth in His Word.
It seems that we are in a generation that seems to be intolerant of healthy, deep discussion of faith because in such discussions, differences will arise and therefore, a topic will volley back and forth between persons until it has been well presented by both parties. I welcome people to criticize what I post about matters of faith. I also welcome criticism about what people think I intend or my way of delivery. That gives me a chance to clarify any misconceptions people may have about why I say things as I do.
But, with all this said, FREE, I am glad you posted. Thank you for giving me food for thought.
