  • Philip Christian Parks on Revelation 19:20 - 4 years ago
Rev. 19:13 = This blood is not CHRIST's own that HE shed during HIS crucifixion. No, this blood is the blood of CHRIST's enemies that HE will draw during Armageddon. Verse fifteen speaks of CHRIST treading the winepress (see also 14:20). Deuteronomy 32:14 describes the juice of the grape as blood. Interpret the graphic language to mean CHRIST will violently attack HIS enemies with such force that HE will splatter their blood on HIS vesture with such abundance that it will become soaked and dripping.

All soldiers experienced in combat, and all who study war, know that soldiers often bloody themselves with the blood of those they kill. When JESUS CHRIST engages in the Battle of Armageddon, HE intends to save no one, nor take prisoners, for HE battles to slaughter the armies of the Antichrist without mercy. Even Revelation 19:21 describes CHRIST ensuring HE kills every last one of the Antichrist's rebellious armies: "the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which [sword] proceeded out of his mouth ..." The blood drenching HIS vesture is that of HIS enemies.

Isaiah 63:1-4 describes JESUS CHRIST fighting Armageddon. Isaiah recorded that prophecy in the prophetic perfect tense. In verse one, Isaiah asks, "WHO is THIS that comes from Edom, with dyed {bloodied} garments from Bozrah?" The mentioning of Edom and Bozrah suggests Armageddon is a series of battles culminating in Armageddon. The PERSON in question is The MESSIAH/CHRIST.

In verse two, Isaiah asked another important question: "Wherefore art THOU red in THINE apparel, and THY garments (including HIS vesture) like him that treadeth in the winefat?" This question accepts the fact that when one stomps grapes in the wine press, he traumatically expels the "blood of the grape" (Deu. 32:14) resulting in splattering the wine presser's clothing with grape juice. This metaphor proves that the blood drenching CHRIST's vesture is not HIS Own, but that of HIS enemies.

Dear, what kind of problem are you having? I ask because you seem very unconcentrated, you ask me. And jumps from place to place. I wonder if you have studied the scriptures it says about fools and prostitutes.

In your opinion, the woman is not responsible for anything other than giving birth to children, and caring for the man. That, it's all right. Only if the woman (belongs) being slave to A man.

Jesus had no problem with any wo man He.

1 Peter 3:7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered. Amen

Neither did Paul he explained to us that it is best for an unmarried person to remain unmarried. Many women today 2022 live miserable conditions in relation to how the man can behave. For so long, there are many men who have not yet become believers and righteous.

Our blessed Paul had to make some rules because he came to many different groups of people on his travels. Where people had different traditions. In fact, all of these variations have been put together by ordinary people in the Catholic Church. To create confusion. Example here:

1 Chorintians 7:1 Now ccerning the things wherof ye wrote vnto me, It is good for a man not to touch a woman.

2 Neuerthelesse, to auoid fornication, let euery man haue his owne wife, and let euery woman haue her owne husband.

Does no one understand this yet? That in the Holy Spirit we are equal and there is no difference. On man or weaker guy.

The law that says that the woman must submit to her own husband. Intended for the church and in line with what is right and proper in relation to God, in His Church. Again i got the same word from the Lord that iv got yesterday. As you yourself referred to. We must become slaves of the Holy Spirit to do God's will. Here I think it really seems that the woman has an advantage. Stay blessed in Him In Jesus Christ Holy Name.

The Book of Genesis does that. Sometimes it seems Moses wrote something and got interrupted; came back later to write more. So it sorta stops snd gets picked up again in the next chapter; and then he may add to that thought.

It gets much easier to read when you know that. Using a KJV, Study Reference Bible; with CENTER OF EACH PAGE REFERENCE COLUMNS

will have a-b-c notes to show you where the thought gets picked up again.

    Wesley's Notes for Matthew 15:2

15:2 The elders - The chief doctors or, teachers among the Jews.

People's Bible Notes for Matthew 15:2

Why do thy disciples transgress? Not the law of Moses, but the TRADITION of the elders, which had as much authority with the Pharisees as the written law.

The tradition of the elders. Purported to be precepts never written in the Scriptures, but handed down from the times of Moses and the elders by oral means. These precepts were spoken of the "law upon the lip", and have been embodied in the Talmud. They were additions to the written word. See Galatians 1:14. For they wash not their hands. The orthodox Jews insisted on washing the hands before eating, not to remove the filth, but less they might have touched something ceremonially unclean. This commandment was purely traditional, but so rigidly did they insist upon observing it that the Rabbi Akiba, imprisoned by the Romans and with scarcely water to sustain life, preferred to use all provided for his ceremonial ablutions, and to die of thirst.
  • Marriage - In Reply on Genesis 2 - 4 years ago
This what the Commentary on this website has written. Mishael

    Wesley's Notes for Genesis 2:24

The sabbath and marriage were two ordinances instituted in innocency, the former for the preservation of the church, the latter for the preservation of mankind. It appears by Matthew 19:4,5, that it was God himself who said here, a man must leave all his relations to cleave to his wife; but whether he spake it by Moses or by Adam who spake, Genesis 2:23 is uncertain: It should seem they are the words of Adam__ in God's name, laying down this law to all his posterity. The virtue of a divine ordinance, and the bonds of it, are stronger even than those of nature.

See how necessary it is that children should take their parents consent with them in their marriage; and how unjust they are to their parents, as well as undutiful, if they marry without it; for they rob them of their right to them, and interest in them, and alienate it to another fraudulently and unnaturally.
  • Coping When You Feel Frustrated - In Reply - 4 years ago
You are highly blessed. I too have infirmities that are yet to be healed. I prayed hard and like Paul, we wait upon the Lord. Meantime we work as we can and share what we have. One day we will be made perfect. Just rest in His love. Trade begging to praises. These scriptures are how I cope.

    2 Corinthians 12:9

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

    Hebrews 4:16

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

    John 1:16

And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.

    1 Corinthians 15:10

But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

    ** Philippians 4:11

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever "state" I am, therewith to be content.

Hi Michelle. This passage speaks of Jesus Christ. And the Apostle Peter refers to an Old Testament prophecy in verse 6: "Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste" ( Isaiah 28:16).

So Peter reaffirms that it is Jesus Who is this Living Stone, not only a foundation stone & a tried stone on which His Church is built, but One Who is alive forevermore. This Stone, men had rejected (they crucified Him, and do so today in their hearts in their hatred of Him), but He is the Chosen One of God & so precious as God's Son & the Forerunner of our faith (having entered the veil of death on our behalf at the Cross, making those who believe, acceptable to God, & He ever lives as our Great High Priest to intercede for us: Hebrews 6:19,20).

The apocrypha is a selection of books which were published in the original 1611 King James Bible. These apocryphal books were positioned between the Old and New Testament (it also contained maps and geneologies). The apocrypha was a part of the KJV for 274 years until being removed in 1885 A.D. A portion of these books were called deuterocanonical books by some entities, such as the Catholic church.

Many claim the apocrypha should never have been included in the first place, raising doubt about its validity and believing it was not God-inspired (for instance, a reference about magic seems inconsistent with the rest of the Bible: Tobit chapter 6, verses 5-8). Others believe it is valid and that it should never have been removed- that it was considered part of the Bible for nearly 2,000 years before it was recently removed a little more than 100 years ago. Some say it was removed because of not finding the books in the original Hebrew manuscripts. Others claim it wasn't removed by the church, but by printers to cut costs in distributing Bibles in the United States. Both sides tend to cite the same verses that warn against adding or subtracting from the Bible: Revelation 22:18. The word 'apocrypha' means 'hidden.' Fragments of Dead Sea Scrolls dating back to before 70 A.D. contained parts of the apocrypha books in Hebrew, including Sirach and Tobit [source].

Keep this in mind when reading the following apocryphal books. Martin Luther said, "Apocrypha--that is, books which are not regarded as equal to the holy Scriptures, and yet are profitable and good to read." (King James Version Defended page 98.)

LINKS for the Apocrypha and the 1611 version are out on the red link page if you want to see them.

Hello Erin. I was so sad to read your story & learn of your experiences. The world we live in is truly evil, where the voices of the sensible, compassionate & understanding are drowned out by those more visible & vocal in their depravity. Unfortunately, not much is done to curb that side of evil where a person who is in a vulnerable & difficult position should be subjected to the imbecilic taunts, gossip, & partiality of worthless people. God IS their Judge.

As I contemplated your short message, my mind turned to 1 Samuel 30:1-6. David wasn't physically incapacited, in fact he had much power. But even in his position, there arose a situation where his spirit was totally defeated. When David returned to Ziklag, the enemy had got there earlier & burned down the city. Not only that, the enemy captured all the women, wives, sons & daughters, even David's wives were taken captive. Then his people thought of stoning David, believing he was the cause of their great loss. David was in a dire position: loss of family, the city & its inhabitants, & now maybe his life. He could've said, 'everyone was against him', as his loss was so great.

Yet in verse 6: "BUT David encouraged himself in the LORD his God". In other words, he found hope, help, & assurance for the future by placing himself in God's Hands. The end of that story was that he defeated his enemies who had done this wickedness & recovered everything, even all their loved ones. David's secret was that when everything around him became bleak & painful, he immediately looked to the Lord for help & deliverance.

Erin, I know it's difficult & grossly unfair for you but all who are weighed down because of the evil around them, cannot remain down & defeated. God does give us all that we need to live above our circumstances; pray for those who hurt you, show them kindness, encourage yourself in God's Word, and know that you are a special & favoured child of the King - that God's Love is far greater than man's feeble acts.

I heard a story one time to describe, it was a perfect illustration for me because I understand pickup trucks & heavy loads within them. The man explained something like this. : the manufacturer of something like a truck knows the weight it can handle, if it's a quarter ton truck it will carry that much. If it's a 2 ton truck it will carry the 2 tons. Now if you fill it close to the weight limit; that pickup it's going to squeak & moan, the tires will rub the wheel wells when you hit a bump, etc. There's moments you doubt at first but it'll carry it even with all the noises, it will handle it. The manufacturer knows what he's doing & he has experience & tested true. So we need to trust the maker our "Manufacturer"

    Hopefully my story helps.

    John 12:26 KJV

26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. AmenHere the Lord Jesus does not mention women but says. (any man).

YOU BETTER READ THE SCRIPTURES CAREFULLY BECAUSE YOU ASSUME WHATEVER YOU WANT TO CLAIM TO SAY WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS INSTEAD OF ACCORDING TO THE SPECIFIC SCRIPTURES AS IT IS WRITTEN IN

    John 12:23 KJVS

[23] And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.

    John 12:22,26 KJV

[22] Philip cometh and telleth Andrew: and again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus. [26] If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

Jesus was talking to the Philip, and Andrew as only men except women in John 12:23. There are other scriptures of

    John 12:25 KJV

[25] He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

Jesus said to them that represents that He is male except She is female because that is exactly what Jesus pointed to any man with quotes as "He"except any woman with quotes "She" that "He" that loveth his life shall lose it; and "he" that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

The Biblical word "He" means male or man that is called MANKIND

THE BIBLICAL WORD "SHE" IS FEMALE OR WOMAN THAT MEANS WOMANKIND

    Leviticus 18:22 KJVS

[22] Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

    1 Corinthians 11:3-5 KJV

[3] But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. [4] Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. [5] But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.

    EVERY MAN AND EVERY WOMAN

First and foremost, have you placed your trust in God?

Do you place NOTHING but the atoning work and resurrection of Christ on the list of reasons why you should be admitted to Heaven?

Are you 100% assured of your Salvation?

If you can't answer yes to all three of those, then that is your first order of business in any circumstance or condition.

Then to the issue of your mentioned affliction...

What about the demoniac in the cemetary?

What of the man possessed by Legion?

What of the man who pummeled the those who falsely used the names of Paul and Jesus to exorcise him?

Those were actually possessed people. They were helpless apart from Christ's direct intervention.

Then there are the infirmed, many of whom Jesus and His Apostles healed of their sickness, some they didn't.

Remember that the rain falls upon the just and the unjust.

The mind is part of the body, and there are real sicknesses that affect it.

Good counsel should always be sought with the Pastor of a Christ-centered, Gospel-preaching, Biblically-based Church, but that counsel will only address your spiritual problems, and addressing them only helps you to bring them to the Lord.

You should also seek the fervent, effectual prayers of Godly people.

Most of all, God's Word never comes back void. The more of the Scriptures you read, the more your mind, healthy or not, will tend toward His will.

Remember that God is not a tyrant, and He will not force you to receive Him. He will not force you to ask for the help you need. That is up to you.

I did as you said, quite curious.

"No direct matches for your keyword(s) were found in the King James Bible text,..."

While I certainly do not dispute that the US and many of its people are so very wrong in lifting their heel against Israel, and while I hold to God's promise that He will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel, . . .

The United States does NOT appear, be it in name, in symbology, in category, in principle or in description, in Biblical prophecy. Our country is NOT included in the end-times accounts in the Bible. Our people do not appear to be named or referenced at all there.

While our nation was indeed established upon a series of covenants with God and in the name of Jesus, I challenge you to show how it has not turned its face entirely away from the very God who made it strong.

The red stripes of the flag stand for the blood of our national martyrs and do not necessarily refer to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

It is always good to seek answers in the Bible for whatever questions we may have, but it is never good, right, proper or acceptable to nebulously cite the Holy Scriptures as basis and justification for whatever we wish to say when what we say is not in any way, shape or form referenced therein.

Hello, you have asked a very good question. I really don't know how to answer knowing what you've said of your situation ; one that I do not share. However, I have a long time friend who had a major debilitating stroke at age 38.

That was 20 years ago. She has been such a bright light through this. Even though she has paralysis on her left side. -along with pain from muscles that are overcompensating for unused ones, pain in her foot, ankle, and leg from a brace she needs to wears I she can stand and walk some, and brain fig and difficulty comprehending or remembering, my dear friend is mostly positive in her outlook, has an attitude of gratitude towards God for sparing her and seeing her children grow up, and is an encourager to others.

I do it know what your abilities are and what your struggles are but the Scriptures does say often that God is trustworthy, compassionate, and helps those who are downtrodden. Even when our life is really bad, one can hold on to these truth with just a little bit of faith one has and one can daily ask God to bring you some respite, assurance, and joy.

Erin, I am truly touched by your mental and physical disabilities with compassion and concern. I wish I knew you personally so I could visit you often and help you.

In closing. If you are able, I suggest you immerse yourself in Scripture as much as possible. God does love you and will draw near to you as you seem Him more and more.

    May He bless you today.

Time to wage war. Satan is illegal and so is covid.

A year ago I was just messing with the Search Engine. I typed CHINA in it. Up pops 3 scriptures. I had to search the ancient names of the countries of that time. One scripture names the colors of Chinas' National flag. Their flag has quite a history of flag color changes. I was able to pinpoint pandemic regions over time, to China, the Mideast, South Africa.

Plagues of the Bible are real. We all need to be aware and safe. It's prophesy unfolding; so this needs to be heeded. This is a principality but it still must obey the Name of Jesus.

Satan is a lawyer of sorts. So are we. He's Illegal, and human Believers are LEGAL heirs of the King of Kings, Lord of lords. Covid must bow it's knee to the Name ABOVE all other names.

We are "deputized" with Jesus's Dominion, Power and Authority to defeat satans plans. Humans are legal and devils are not. What was meant for evil will not stand against WHO is inside of us.

We win. We are covered in Jesus Holy Blood.

United States has always supported Israel throughout history until Now. GENESIS 12:2-3

We are seeing the Leaders of this nation turning against Israel by withdrawing our help in times of trouble. Giving Money that was to help Israel defeat her Enemies. Walker If that's how it's going to be; the AMERICAN people must UNITE the Color of Blood__the red party behind our Flag. This is OUR NATION. Somehow we have to revolt against what EVIL POLITICIANS have done against our unity with ISRAEL. The Lords Homeland. It's NOT what they say! It's what they DO NOT DO. Bless Israel. Without that blessing WE'RE NOT A NATION OF GOD ALMIGHTY.

Our ancestors died for nothing if we turn our backs on the God of Israel. Our nation is being cursed.

Change your party affiliation to blood red. Our vote can turn this curse back. It's our United voice! Re-register. Forms at post office. It is legal to switch.
