  • Tim George on 2 Corinthians 5:11 - 11 years ago
Knowing the terror of the Lord we persuade men. God knows our hearts, and will reward us at the Judgment Day, when we stand before the Lord. God has committed to us the ministry of reconciliation and the word of reconciliation. To wit that God was in Christ, not imputing their sins against them, but has committed that ministry of reconciliation to us. We must fear God, and preach the Word without the fear of man. Man can only destroy this body, but God can destroy body, as well as soul in the Lake of Fire. Therefore we must warn every man to repent for the Kingdom of God is near. Let everyone turn from their sins, to faith in God, and repentance toward our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For He is standing at the door of your heart waiting for you to open the door, so that He can come in. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shall be saved, and thine house.

If I would allow the word of God to motivate me then I would be living by faith. To let the word of God be my final answer. To shut my eyes feelings to the things around me. Very rewarding to walk by Faith. Faith pleases God and when I please God then no foe can successufully be against me. praise God !!!!
  • Dharam on 2 Corinthians 5:7 - 11 years ago
even when it looks like everything will go against us, we can trust in God with the knowledge that he will come through for us. God never violates his word therefore it is our unbelief that causes us not to get what God has in store for us.
  • Toni on 2 Corinthians 5:7 - 11 years ago
Faith is the key to Salvation. In order to please God, we must first believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11 6 Someone above asked the question "how do I build my faith? " It starts by falling down on our knees. Prayer is our connection to God through His dear Son Jesus. The more we bow down to Christ, the more He reveals Himself to us, and will baptize us with the Holy Ghost, which is the Spirit of Truth. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Romans 10 17 Read the word of God and pray. Faith is saying Lord, I don 't see you, but I know you are real. I 'm going to pray and read your Word, until you make yourself known to me. We have to diligently seek God, and when we show God we are sincere, He will reveal Himself to us. This isn 't done with the natural mind nor can be. God is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth. John 4 24 Not what the eyes see, but what the heart believes. This is a faith walk.

without faith, it is impossible to please him. faith makes all thing possible in life.we can develop our faith in God by studying the bible regularly, spending quality time with him, listening to other 's testimonies etc.faith is the key that can open all doors.
  • Irish loee on 2 Corinthians 5:7 - 11 years ago
As children of god we must walk mentally knowing that Christ is with us and we know in the physical realm we can 't see with our physical sight
  • Reuben on 2 Corinthians 5:17 - 11 years ago
Paul is obviously talking about being born again... this is very real, and a reference point in a real Christains life.
  • Blessed on 2 Corinthians 5 - 11 years ago
When we seek GOD we live to decrease that he might increase. No longer I but the Christ within me. To be absent from the body is to be present with the lord. The Temple of GOD is within us. More GOD less us. Means we are in GOD and GOD is in us. As we grow in grace and in the knowledge of our lord and saviour JESUS CHRIST the word of GOD becomes alive within us and eternal life is even real to the flesh. Since the flesh is weak and the spirit is willing, the more spirit GAL. 5 22 23 the more GOD. HALLELUJAH HALLELUJAH HALLELUJAH.
  • Dharam on 2 Corinthians 5:21 - 11 years ago
Our righteousness were like filthy rags. There was nothing we could do to make ourselves holy. Thank God Jesus took our place and did the work for us. It is through his substitutionary work that we have become the righteousness of God through him.

  • Evang. Emma Belin-Reese on 2 Corinthians 5:16 - 11 years ago
I have gather from this verse 2Corinthia 5:16. Once one becomes saved and have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, old things are passed away, and behold all has become new, 2Corinthia 5:17. We put off the old man, and are robed with the righteousness of God, new mind set. Our walk is different, talk, attitude. We seek the things of God.
    God be praise!
May our heavenly Father continues his blessinguupon your ministry.
    Evangelist Belin-Reese

Pray for it and read the scriptures through the written Word in the King James Bible.

  • Mike C Opara on 2 Corinthians 5:15 - 11 years ago
Since Christ loves us to the extent of dying for our sins, we who have been saved and redeemed back to God as a result of Christ's vicarious death are to recicrocate His love. We are expected from the point of knowing the Lord to live a concecrated life, a life totally dedicated to pleasing Him. It is said that one good turn deserves another. The only proof of our salvation and acceptance of Christ is our day to day right living, watchfulness, evangelistic zeal and a life of prayer. In summary, a true christian must live a life of obedience and service to the One he/she claims to believe in and love. "If you love me, keep my commandments"( John 15:14)."But why do you call me 'Lord, Lord' and not do the things which I say?"( Luke 6:46). Chrit will soon come to take those who are trully His and who are waiting for Him.( 2nd Timothy 2:19). May the Lord help us to repent of all sins, accept Christ and receive the grace to please Him in all things in Jesus' name,Amen.

  • Kwadwo Sarfo on 2 Corinthians 5:7 - 11 years ago
Even though we walk and live in this fallen and temporary world, our lives are not fully and only determined or directed by what we see, feel, touch, smell or taste but we as seeing the invisible God, evidently substantiate the hope created in us by the promise(s) in His word. We thus accept as more true the report of God than the fact as reported by man either through the naked eyes or scientific observation as afforded by instruments. Our sight is limited to the physical things from the earth to the stars. But there are spiritual elements within this range as well beyond it, which spiritual activity of elements do not lend themselves to scientific analysis or naked human sight. Our spiritual senses must therefore be exercised to see the spiritual in addition to the physical. Amen
