21And Dauid said vnto Michal, It was before the Lord, which chose me before thy father, & before all his house, to appoint me ruler ouer the people of the Lord, ouer Israel: therefore will I play before the Lord. 22And I will yet be more vile then thus, and will be base in mine owne sight: and of the maid seruants which thou hast spoken of, of them shall I be had in honour. 23Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no childe vnto the day of her death.
