13He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame vnto him. 14The spirit of a man will sustaine his infirmitie: but a wounded spirit who can beare? 15The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the eare of the wise seeketh knowledge. 16A mans gift maketh roome for him, & bringeth him before great men. 17He that is first in his owne cause, seemeth iust; but his neighbour commeth and searcheth him.
