1Now when hee had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, hee entred into Capernaum. 2And a certaine Centurions seruant, who was deare vnto him, was sicke and ready to die. 3And when he heard of Iesus, he sent vnto him the Elders of the Iewes, beseeching him that he would come and heale his seruant.
