1And Adam knew Eue his wife, and shee conceiued, and bare Cain, and said, I haue gotten a man from the LORD. 2And she againe bare his brother Abel, and Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. 3And in processe of time it came to passe, that Cain brought of the fruite of the ground, an offering vnto the LORD. 4And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flocke, and of the fat thereof: and the LORD had respect vnto Abel, and to his offering.
