19¶ Amon was twentie and two yeres old when he began to reigne, and he reigned two yeeres in Ierusalem: and his mothers name was Meshullemeth, the daughter of Haruz of Iotbah. 20And he did that which was euill in the sight of the Lord, as his father Manasseh did. 21And he walked in all the wayes that his father walked in, and serued the idoles that his father serued, and worshipped them: 22And he forsooke the Lord God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the Lord. 23¶ And the seruants of Amon conspired against him, and slew the king in his owne house.
